Lol just don't go man. They're usually too understaffed to help everyone in line. The team there is amazing, don't get me wrong. The one star is for the company of Walgreens that runs their employees into the ground, doesn't give them days off, makes them work while sick so the entire pharmacy has to shut down.... It's just sad and I feel sorry for everyone working in this location. Personally I've had the best experience with each of the pharmacists and the people helping tend the window. Pay your people more, stop being a greedy company, and make sure you have enough staff to cover people. Sounds like a management problem! read more

If I could give this place less I would, I was just on hold for over 40 minutes. Over those 40 minutes they picked up the call and then placed me on hold multiple times, and then the last time they picked up the phone they hung up. I have been trying to call them all week to get my prescription refilled, but every time this has happened and there has been multiple people in front of me as well and I always get hung up on. I get that they have been understaffed, but it would be nice if they could actually just answer the phone. I will be switching pharmacies. read more

The pharmacy is usually backed-up and slow. I need to change where I pick up asap. Also, it seems there's is "drama" every 3rd or 4th time, with people trying to pull something. They either need to close up shop, or have more than 1 pharmacist assisting people. They are nice enough, just not enough of them. Called photo Center and asked if my pics could be printed within an hour (online said 2 hours). I only had 24 pics and nice Filipino lady said she could do it in 10 min and she did. Thanks! However, two of my pictures didn't crop properly. It cropped more than TJ Walgreens website showed me it would look like. I will need to go back and see what they can do about that. Tried this pharmacy since it is a block away from me. I just moved to Lakewood. I saw the Yelp reviews, but during this time our community is very different. I am a patient person. Come on, it can't be that bad! IT IS!!! Going inside the pharmacy they are so rude!!!!!Especially the lady with long black hair and black glasses. I had to wait an hour and 45 minutes for my walk in prescription so I had plenty of time to observe..... The younger techs you can tell are oblivious to what to do because they want so badly to help and be polite, but the techs that have been there longer, they have given up. I understand, the employees have been through a lot with rude people. I would hope that they would try to treat the customer kindly, since many of us are just going in with our masks on and just trying to pick up a much needed prescription. The lady with the black hair and glasses, you know who you are and so do your fellow employees. I hope this note will help her move on to a job she looks forward to coming to. You look so unbelievably depressed. You had a scowl the moment you walked into the pharmacy. I still cannot believe how you talk to customers on the phone. Rude and condescending. Worst pharmacy ever. Don't go. You'll wait over 30 mins in line and another 30 mins while they fill your prescription.

This is just a review for the pharmacy. I have been out of my medication for over a week now. A medication that I need and REALLY struggle without. I waited for an hour on the phone just for the woman on the other end to say "i'll get it right now". So I have to call for the pharmacy to do their job and fill my prescription? Not to mention I can't pick it up because they closed the inside pharmacy and the car line would have taken HOURS. I'm not exaggerating, even look at the other reviews. At this point my best bet is just to transfer my Rx to a different pharmacy. read more

I've been going here for years, with nothing but positive reviews....until I was diagnosed with MS and started using their pharmacy on a regular basis last July. Recently, they got my medication but left it unrefridgerated and discarded it. Then I go back and wait 25 minutes in line (4 people), it doesn't move and I leave only to come back today and the inside is closed due to lack of staff, and I wait over an hour in drive through line and they don't have it ready, after THEY called and said it was. The employees they have are working hard and it can't be easy on them, but their business practices are lacking. read more

BIG NEW AND BRIGHT!! Almost too bright. I dig Walgreen and this one has an expanded food area which is huge (Is it viable with a King Soopers next door??) But this store replaces the ghetto-fest that was the old Walgreens at Sheriden and Alameda. BRAVO! read more

This Walgreens has a sweet layout and looks bigger than most. This is definitely a new Walgreens that has been built. Its bigger than most. Nice Wide Aisles. Brightly lit up. Nice big display signage above the aisle. Well stocked and clean. And really friendly employees. Plus they have seating around the building. Not sure why you would want to sit around and hang out. Despite being the newest and best looking Walgreens in the area, this one has some, dare I say, lazy employees! 3 out of 5 times I visited, the advertised items didn't have the sale tags to reflect the discounted prices. So naturally the wait time in the line is longer - last visit I paid, I was first in line, but the gal at the register was so busy "reading" something she did not even look up to greet me until I started edging more and more inward of her peripheral sight (I knew she sensed me but she didn't want to detach from her reading material!). Having to explain to them something is actually on sale that week according to the paper is also wasting time. Sigh. This shop took over a crazy looking structure near Belmar. It is across Alameda, had a way to access it from Wadsworth through a break in the median, or from Alameda at a light. It is large, and the staff is friendly. The set up of the aisles... i'm not a fan. They are not all in a row like normal walgreens, some are perpendicular to others. The makeup ailse sadly faces large windows that seem to make everything there very hot, and i know i would not want to purchase anything from that part of the store. There is a decent selection but it seems other stores have a much larger selection of different things. It's a good place to pop in for the occasional item, but not a destination for me. read more

Doesn't matter if you call in prescriptions 1 hour ahead, you will still get there and have to wait 15-20 min. Two times that I come to pick up prescriptions here and they don't know where it's at. How unprofessional and annoying. Never coming here again. read more

I wish I could give no stars. Where to begin. I never really had too many issues with the actual pharmacy until recently. But especially this time around. I put a refill for my prescription last week. It'll be 7 days tomorrow. And still not ready. And no way to check on it or anything. And no updates online. I tried calling on Tuesday, was on hold for 45 min and nothing. My bf went one his way home to a drive they of 12+ cars. Drove by four separate times on Wednesday (yesterday) and each time there was a line for the drive thru 15-20 cars deep. I called today at 750am and was on hold for TWO HOURS, someone finally picked up and directly hung up on me. Called the store again to a different department and they refused to transfer. Called again and was on hold for another hour and then it was their lunch. Drove there at 6:30pm. Sat in the line of 17 cars in the drive thru because the inside is closed for and hour and a half just to be told to come back tomorrow because they close at 8pm no exceptions. This is seriously unacceptable. I can't even change it to a different location without speaking to a pharmacist..... read more

Went in this morning to use the restroom, and read the sign saying button on the left but couldn't find the button asked someone behind in an employee lounge and I seem to be interrupting them yet they rudely told me to read the sign. Which I had just done. I ended up just leaving since I couldn't get any help with a minor task of getting into the keypad locked restrooms. Don't go to the pharmacy here, Walgreens' system as a whole is a joke. This is the third location I've had significant issues with getting my prescriptions. Super clean store, pharmacy is really nice and always helpful techs.

Most cashiers here conduct themselves professionally but there is just one cashier who is absolutely disrespectful. The most disrespectful cashier hands down. Instead of a simple... ' I can take the next customer', the cashier looks at you as you wait in line and curls one index finger repeatedly gesturing you to to come to the register. Are you kidding me? I'm your customer not some one that you gesture rudely to and get away with. I've seen this particular cashier being rude and hurrying customers, who of course want to just get the experience of horrible customer service over with-they shoot out the door and they could be spending much more money if they were treated with professionally. One day I just wanted some cash back, this same cashier was unhelpful, rude and seemed in a hurry....FOR WHAT? There was no one behind me, yet she was in a HURRY. It is sad to see people, who are so unfriendly and rude at a local pharmacy, I'm moving my business elsewhere. read more

Long story -- Walgreens had photo issues and called me (before 8am on Sunday!)to say I needed to resend my 2 orders. I sent one. Wanted to see how this played out. Got the email saying it was ready to pick up. 4 hours later got another email saying my (original) order was ready for pick up. I called the store. Talked to Serena, who kept interrupting me while I was trying to explain the issue. Then she put me on hold before I was finished. Came back and said there were 2 orders ready and everything was fine. I asked how many photos were in each order, they were the same. Things were NOT okay. I tried explaining again and she kept interrupting. I finally asked for a manager. SHE WAS THE MANAGER! So I asked to talk to someone above her. She said to call the 800 number then proceeded to tell me to calm down. Seriously??? Then she reprimanded me for 'raising" my voice. I said if she'd stop interrupting me I wouldn't need to talk louder. Walgreens is famous for horrid customer service. This store has terrible employees and managers also. Who calls a customer before 8am for a non-emergency?? Who interrupts a customer when the are trying to explain a problem -- especially when it is clear the employee doesn't understand.
