The location is very convenient, but the parking lot, at night, was a tad sketchy with lots of bushes and not great lighting. Wait on the phone for ten minutes after going through it on the phone, screaming "connect me to the pharmacy" and "pharmacist" while the recording continues to read the script, only to have it answered, then immediately hung up on. Then wait for 30 minutes to pick it up. Most of that time, not a person in sight behind the counter. A dozen people waiting. It's been this way for many years. Terrible customer service. Two pharmacists told me over the phone my prescription was ready, but when I got there, they had no idea what I was talking about. The pharmacist was rude and demeaning. I had a coupon and instead of helping me or explaining, she was snobby and said with a sneer, "You can't do that." I'm def changing my pharmacy. read more

This is an every month issue. I stopped by early this morning and was told to come back in an hour. I returned 5 hours later and I'm told that they don't have my prescriptions and it could be up to a week. I don't take these meds by choice and the fact that they can't take 1 minute to communicate this to the employees is ridiculous. Horrible drive thru. Waited over 1 hour to pick up prescription. Three different people inside the Pharmacy came by the window but not 1 person asked if we needed help. Absolutely the WORST pharmacy staff I've ever encountered. I moving all my prescriptions and other shopping to CVS.

Checking out today was the worst!! Craig (the cashier) was extremely rude to every customer he checked out! Then when it was my turn he handed me my items in a bag with a huge hole in it and said "be careful there's a hole in the bag and was going to leave it at that. When asked to double bagged it he said "Oops...another hole". Seriously I have never been treated so poorly and it wasn't just myself. If you don't like being in customer service you should find a job elsewhere. If I could have found a manager at the time I would have reported him right there. That was someone's grandmother before me he almost had in tears!! No excuse for such poor behavior!! read more

Even though this Walgreens is near my home, I choose NOT to shop or use the pharmacy. Alissa in the pharmacy dept. Was very rude and unhelpful to me this morning as I was trying to pick up a Covid test that I had registered on line to get. She wanted me to pay for this test over $130.00 even though I had 2 forms of insurance and needed this test as part of my pre-op procedure. She obviously does not like her job or respect the customers. I dread going into this particular Walgreens. This store is not run well, the staff are not interested and There's a negative atmosphere. Many text emails and calls that my prescription is ready. So I head over to pick it up. 40 minutes waiting in the drive thru. They are sorry they have to order it. This is my third trip. It's just another week with out the medicine. No big deal to this company. If your insurance plan allows please go anywhere else. read more

I just took the time and read all the other reviews. And they are honest-to-God the truth. Another worse thing about this Store is that you are put on. Hold forever in the pharmacy. And when they finally get through to you, they hang up. Do you have to call back and sit all that time again? Absolutely terrible. I tried to return the pharmacy's call and voicemail question about my RX and had to wait on hold for 30 minutes only to have someone pick up the phone and immediately hang up. I have had 5 surgeries in 9 months, I have had to take strong pain medication however, because of this Manager at the Walgreens on Ocean Ave in Lantana, who is Indian, I have been living in excruciatiating pain. Maybe in their country they are used to being in pain, but this is the USA and we have medicine to keep us comfortable after having surgery, this women would not fill the Surgeons additional prescribed medicine saying "I have a contract with my pain Doctor" Well, having discussed all of my surgeries with my pain Doctor, he has made me aware that she could have filled the medicine to alleviate my post op pain but instead, wanted to be cruel and nasty. I am only allotted so many pain pills per month from him and he can not prescribe any more and in the case of post op pain, he could not prescribe more, so I had to resort to taking my medication more often than usual and ran out a few days early, I explained this to both the pharmacies' "manager" and the Doctor, the Doctor puts all the blame on the "manager of Walgreens" Now she will wait till the 31st day for two months now before she will refill my prescriptions,just to be a bitch!!! I will go to a pharmacy that is more sympathetic to people with medical issues and pain, if you are hurting, don't fill you medication at Walgreens on Ocean Ave in Lantana or you will have to suffer gall stone pain with out medication, appendix pain with out medication, Lumpectomy breast surgery without medication, hysterectomy pain without medication and my next surgery will be knee surgery but next month I will go to Publix where they have compassion and are not Pain Med Nazis. read more

Just left here after being denied multiple items at the price advertised on the sticker directly on the package in the clarence bin section. The reason being the sale ended but it was not marked anywhere on the sticker except in the screen when scanned. Go to CVS, this location is the worst. read more
