One of the worst pharmacies in vegas. Your prescription is never ready when its suppose to be. This place has a history of not filling prescriptions on time. This time i called 2 days in advance n they kept saying they couldnt fill it until the next day. So i waited no problem. Then i call again the same day to ensure they make the prescription so by the time i go get it, its ready. That way i wont have to wait. I called at 2:30 they said itd be ready at 3:30. (Even tho the previous day they said it was already going to be ready.) Got there and was told they still have to make it. Like are we serious right now?? I don't even do reviews for stores but thats how bad this location is. Every time my prescription is scheduled to be picked up or ready they haven't even started on it. Such an unorganized establishment. Yall need an entire new management cause the way you run things is far from a seamless and smooth customer experience. read more

I just left the store and I'm so upset I knew it was close to closing time as I walked in the gentleman named ( KRIS . M ) didn't even greet me or anything he literally looked at me and said get what you are going to get because we're closing having still 7 mins till 10 pm. He turned the lights off from the store before it was even 10 pm. Seriously ppl wonder why stores are empty it's because the customer service isn't worth the effort of driving to the store. First encounter with this pharmacy is when I called about a pain rx that my doctor called in. They treated me with contempt for having the nerve to call them and ask about why it was talking 4 days to fill. Today I called them 15 minutes before closing time and they put me on hold till 6 then someone answered the line and said "sorry were closed call back tomorrow" and hung up on me. read more

So disappointed with this location. I made a appointment for my Covid19 booster through the Walgreens app. I get here and the lady tells me since I made my appointment through the app she can't give me my booster because she doesn't have enough shots for the people who booked their appointments the day before. Why wouldn't She call them and tell them to reschedule instead of having them come In only to be informed that they won't be getting their booster today. Such a waste of time. On another note, I work directly with Covid19 positive patients. She didn't even care to ask if I was medical or not. I'm in front of you, booster me and call someone else to reschedule. Really wanted to acknowledge Quaylon, the gentleman who gave us our COVID booster shots & he was awesome! I'm a big baby when it comes to needles & he made it a quick, comfortable experience. Overheard him giving a vaccine to a child before our turn & couldn't help but smile because he was so awesome with him. Every pharmacy or doctor's office needs a Quaylon. read more

Second time we have been to pick up meds and both times have been told that we can not use that location because we lived to far away. What does distance have to do with medication and how do they know where we live and the distance. My wife works one block away at a medical facility and has used the location for the last 23 years. Either Walgreens have started hiring stupid people or who can not or will not just do the job and stop trying to be the drug police. The first time we contacted the store manager and explained the problem. She said she had not heard of any such policy and went to ask the pharmacist. The pharmacist told the Mgr. that it was policy to refuse service because they did want people driving around looking for narcotics. I asked what prevented anyone from making up an address. How is Walgreens going to check to see if it is a good address and check the mileage. Walgreens keeps telling everyone they don't have the manpower to staff the pharmacy now. read more

Probably the worse Walgreens I've been to and I'm an ex employee. Walked in, no greeting- went to photo, no IC3 cuz there was more than 3 customers that needed attending plus when we needed help the employees didn't know and didn't bother to try to accommodate. This store is a complete MESS!!! I came to get my second dose of the Vaccine and was sitting for 52 minutes with a couple before me! I figured the Asian lady was on break! She was behind the counter!! I walked up to window and asked for help! The lady who gives the shots asked me to fill out paperwork!!! Why not give it to me after you typed in my information? ? Long story short , I had to make another appointment the same day at CVS. I see why people SNAP in stores over Ignorant people. This store needs someone to come pull EVERYBODY that works in pharmacy out and FIRE most of them! They can't even get medications correct!!! Everyone who walked out this store was pissed about how rude or stupid these pharmacist were. So unorganized and dirty!! The Manager there is a complete Racist! I watched her snatch an item out of a woman's hand when all the woman was doing was WALKING TO THE REGISTER to pay! The woman rang the customer service and stood at the cosmetic aisle and while the employees walked around and giggled and continued their personal conversations and ignored the bell the woman grabbed the item herself and walked to the register because she was being ignored and the manager then acted horribly towards the young woman. that young girl had every intention to pay for her items! The. Worst. Place. Ever. I lost my driver's license and tried to get my medications with my passport while I waited for the new one to come in the mail. This EXTREMELY rude woman, I believe a shift manager or supervisor, proceeded to nastily lecture me about how I shouldn't be driving around without my physical license. FIRST OF ALL - mind your damn business, you are a pharmacy supervisor, not a cop, and a passport is a totally legal form of ID. This same awful woman makes people show a Nevada ID or no scripts - and that's NOT THE LAW. It's literally something she made up because she has to feel like she has some power over other people'a lives. It's pathetic, especially since every other Walgreens is nice and professional and don't feel the need to power trip. She shouldn't be allowed to keep doing that - it's not a law or a Walgreens policy, it's one bitter woman's pettiness. She has no clue on how to talk TO and not AT people. Always gives me a hard time, always treats me like a junkie when I pick up my psych meds. And we wonder why there is a stigma about mental illness. It's sad when even the pharmacy staff has to make snide, judgmental commentary and are totally convinced that anyone filling an Adderall prescription (on time, never early) is a drug addict. They are there to facilitate our doctor's instructions for prescribed medication, therefore, their opinion is neither REQUIRED nor DESIRED. I have never had so many issues with a pharmacy. It is frustrating this is the closest to my house because this Walgreens makes me so frustrated I am writing my first review. Couldn't even drop off a prescription for my fiancé because I didn't have her id...so ridiculous. They told me to go down the street to a different Walgreens that would allow me to. Pharmacy + in a ghetto place = You're gonna have a bad time. Was a extern student there and i understand why the patients were upset. Too much work for staff to complete the prescriptions on time and there is certain insurance that is not accepted or covers the drugs. The pharmacy here is one of the best pharmacy's I have ever been to. The customer service is amazing and everyone working always has a smile on their face. The manager in the pharmacy was very nice and caring when I explained to her what my situation was. She gave me better advice than my actual physician. I will be 100% be back! This is the worst pharmacy ever. I dropped off a prescription for my daughter's antibiotic, they said they were having problems with the insurance so there was a delay. They were suppose to call me when the prescription was ready..nothing. No calls. Then i called to check on the medicine if it was ready, they said somebody picked it up. Well it wasn't me. They just gave the medicine to anyone????. What the hell? They're also very rude. Did not even raise a finger to resolve that issue. If I could give 0 or negative star, I would. read more

This review is in two parts: pharmacy and retail. Pharmacy. Top-notch. I was diagnosed diabetic in 2000, and have had my prescriptions filled at this location since Day One. Fourteen years, one glitch. (That was in, if I remember correctly, 2007; that pharmacist is no longer working for the Walgreens corporation.) Friendly, knowledgeable staff. My wife has several medical issues that require over a dozen pharmaceuticals; again, in the fourteen years that we've been coming here, one or two glitches out of, what does that make ... almost 200 months and between 20-25 prescriptions each month? I'd say that's an excellent score. PHARMACY: 5 of 5. Retail, i.e., the rest of the place. Overall, a decent place. In that same fourteen years, one employee I didn't get along with; she and I aren't there the same hours of the day any more, and I've had no problems since. Prices are what you'd expect ... a little higher than grocery stores, a little lower than convenience stores. Courteous, friendly, knowledgeable (except that they still can't tell me why the latex gloves were pulled from the shelves and if they'll ever come back). RETAIL: 4 of 5. Overall, a solid 4, and unless something very untoward happens, a customer for life. I came in and asked the pharmacy if they are able to get the medicine that I need. they said yes they can. so I went to the other Walgreens that had my prescriptions and brought them to this wall greens because it is much closer to my house. I dropped off my prescription and was told that they have it in stock and it would be ready today. about 2 hours later I receive a text that it is done and ready for pick up. so I go over to pick it up and the pharmacist tells me it is not in stock. so now I have to take my prescriptions back to the other wall greens who have that medication in stock and are way nicer and more professional. this Walgreens pharmacy is terrible and horrible. read more

I like this Walgreens. Always well stocked and the customer service is always good. We bought some pistachios that were onsale ( had been stocked on the wrong peg) and instead of arguing with us, and making us feel stupid, they honored the sale price. The cashier is always more than friendly, sometime bordering on creepy happy. Will come again and again. Haven't used this location for prescriptions, so cant comment on that. read more

I've been coming here for sometime and never did I feel the need to write a review until. They have added quit a few makeup lines for colored and ethnic women. Awesome! I just love the fact that they've done so. I'll definitely be shopping here more often :) read more

Came in here to get my prescribed medicine. I was only in the area because I wanted to go get food after at a specific place that was near by. I dropped off my prescription and decided to leave for an hour, eat, come back. I came back and got two monsters and just paid up front. A girl with really short brown hair was training and was really nice! Pretty quick too for someone who was being trained. I tried talking to the trainer as well and no smile or response. This darker skinned lady had curly hair and glasses. Super unpleasant. Don't look at me while I'm trying to talk to you and not respond. I'm sorry that you're stuck in a minimum waged job at age 50 but it's not my fault. I went and got my medicine and the lady was so nice! She was amazing, she knew what she was doing, very fun and energetic! I didn't get her name, but she had pale skin, really short orange hair, and a nose ring! I adored her! Also I walked by and the MOD didn't know how to communicate with a guest (language barrier) and she actually pulled out the Google translator to communicate with them! The only person I didn't like was that lady in the front. Other than that, everyone was really nice here. It is in a really ghetto area so I doubt I'll be back at this store again. Awful manager, Kelsey. I was at your store 12/18/2016 in Las Vegas, NV located on Lake Mead Blvd and Jones at around 1:45 pm and I was looking at some of the Christmas merchandise on an endcap when I heard a manager three aisles over yell at an employee who not only was stocking and working but he was disabled. I am well aware that Managers are to make sure that things are clean and  put in place as well making sure that employees are doing their jobs and keeping them safe as well as the customers but I was in fact very bothered hours after it happened. She yelled, " When I give you a specific project, I expect you to get it done, so get busy, ugh !" Now if she had walked over to him or even called him to her, it might have been better. When I saw him put his head down and walk to another area of the store, I could see that not only was he embarrassed because there were customers everywhere, but saddened in a way that would make any person not want to work at your establishment. In the thirty minutes I was in your store he greeted me as well he was working and asked if I needed anything so I was very shocked to see that he was treated that way. She was not wearing a name tag so I asked the cashier what her name was and she answered, "Kelsey". I am very disturbed of how she handled the situation and have made me want to shop in my Walgreens on my side of town. I know it is a busy holiday time and people can get on others nerves, but there is no way she should have acted like that. read more
