The pharmacy at this store is a complete sh** show and a disaster! Do NOT come here for prescriptions. The level of incompetence is only exceeded by their 'I don't give a sh**' attitude. Every single person at this pharmacy needs to find a new line of work as they are all complete failures. And the level of lying and deception is off the charts. This place is a zoo of incompetence, confusion, and failure. NEVER GET YOUR PRESCRIPTION FILLED HERE. You will either get nothing, a partial refill, or the wrong medication. What you will also get is a nasty rude attitude from employees. You can feel the tension and anger from staff the second you talk to them. Incredibly unprofessional and angry. I have been using the pharmacy at this location for years. In the past month I've had a number of issues with the lack of accuracy and service. It started when my physician ordered three prescriptions for me. The first two were no problem and I was told the third would be available in a few days. When they contacted me, they had the wrong prescription. It was for something they already filled, not what I still needed. Weeks later there has been no effort to provide the last prescription. Fortunately I no longer need the particular medication. The second situation was regarding a controlled substance prescription. I went in to pick it up and was told I had to wait a day. Well it really was two days if they were counting since my last refill. The pharmacy refused to sell me anything until I had taken it all which makes no sense. How do you travel if you have to wait? Then once the day finally arrived, I went in to get my prescription and they were out of the medication! How did they not order more before running out, knowing I would be back! I had to wait 4 more days. Meanwhile I just went in to pick up another script and stood at the counter while none of the 7-8 people ever acknowledged me for a number of minutes. Finally, when one of the technicians was done telling a story, did she ask what I needed today. If things don't improve I am going elsewhere. Thankfully I am capable of managing my medications. I would be concerned if someone who was a little unsure about things had to rely upon themselves and this group at this location. read more

When just shopping for simple things it's no hassle and goes through just fine. The pharmacy on the other hand is a nightmare. I should be able to get my meds without this much hassle. Repetitively driving to be told come back later or being told my doctors didn't send anything when they did. Then being stuck in the lines wether in the drive through or in the store. Today, I will give a full story about the poor customer service I received from not only pharmacy, but what I received from the pharmacist named, Amina. I received a text message on Tuesday from the pharmacy that my prescriptions were DELAYED because of an insurance issue. Now, these scripts are CII's for my ADD and are normally not covered by insurance. I wasn't worried about not picking them up because I usually have a coupon and can afford to pay for them. On Thursday, while I was working, I checked the Walgreens App to see my scripts were not only not filled, but they was no record of them on my profile. I decided to call the pharmacy where after some time on hold, I got Amina for the first time. I told her I was checking the status of my prescriptions. She said no doctor has called in my scripts. I said, "How can that be?" I received a text and an email with prescriptions numbers attached to them saying there was an insurance issue." She preceded to tell me that she has no record and to call my doctor. I explained it again. After my explanation, she let out a long sigh and said, I am sorry what is you want? Frustrated, I hung up on her. I decided to go thru my email, and I found the email with the prescriptions numbers. I call the pharmacy again, in hopes that I would not have to talk to Amina again. Behold, I get a lovely female technician. When I gave her the numbers, she said, "Well it appears that they have deleted, but let me look into it." She puts me on hold. About 2 minutes later, Amina the Rude comes on the phone. She says I know you, you called before, and we have nothing. You hung up on me and I don't appreciate your rudeness. I said, "Your tech just told me the scripts were deleted." She said, "I am not going to help you because you are rude. So I will give you to my lead technician." I explained the problem to the lead technician Josh who said the scripts were deleted and that they will call the doctors office in the morning. The doctors office called and I explained to them what happened. They said, they have been trying to reach the pharmacy all day, but no one was picking up. I said, I was trying to reach them prior. I called the pharmacist again and got Armina the Bitchy. I told her who I was and she said, "I know who you are, how can I forget you?" I said my doctor has been trying to call you but no one is picking up. Armina went into rage mode. Today was a reflection of why I am loyal to this Walgreens. I drive a little farther than I need I need to. But this location, the people working here make ALL THE DIFFERENCE. As you walk in the door you are greeted with a friendly smile. I love the familiar faces I see here, for years. I don't feel like a number I feel as though people have pride in the job they are doing. So rare now-a-days. Today I was sick and had to get a prescription filled. I'm sure I was grumpy on the outside not able to mask it. The lead pharmacist she gives a warm smile, at that moment I knew I could let my guard down I was going to be saved / rescued. She genuinely asks each patron how they are doing and takes the time to listen and help them. Back when my X was sick the two pharmacist literally helped me in more ways than I could ever express. I've never had my prescriptions be so messed up from any other pharmacy. 2 prescriptions, 90 day supply. Used to be able to pick it up every 90 days. Now - I'll get messages they're ready to be picked up, only to arrive and be told 3 different things by different people; "I guess your insurance changed so it didn't come through." "That's not true I've had the same insurance for years." "Um I guess they re-did the codes so it showed up as something different." "oh your 90 days isn't up yet." Until I show them proof that it is. "Ah, well actually we don't have it in stock." I wait another 2 weeks. App shows its ready to be picked up. I arrive and they say, "actually it's in stock but you're not allowed to pick it up until February 5th." "Not true, I've been without the medication for 2 months." Then I speak to someone else and it's turned into, "we still don't have it in stock." What an absolute joke. You can get any different excuse by a different person you talk to but they're never on the same page. Now my medications are all messed up and I still have no answers. I finally call and tell them how the app shows my medication was "filled" 4 days ago - after speaking to the pharmacist who says it isn't in stock, I check the app again moments after speaking on the phone, NOW all the sudden the app shows delayed - out of stock. Be prepared to be overcharged at the pharmacy. Weird how you can save hundreds of dollars for ONE prescription at other places.

Because of a new prescription plan, I had to transfer four prescriptions from Costco to Walgreens (the preferred pharmacy for my new plan). In less than 24hours the Walgreens pharmacy had all my prescriptions in house and had filled the one I needed right away and ready for pick up. This included two that were expired and had to be renewed by my doctor. This was very impressive. The pharmacist was extremely competent and friendly. I'm glad I went here for help. read more

We transferred here a few months back because our other pharmacy didn't except my daughters ins, walgreens is polite, and has very little wait time. They have a great staff that has always helped when needed. They always have my daughters diabetic supplies when needed weather it's a special order at the last minute from her doctor or something she used on a regular basis read more

Been shopping here for 4 years now, this store is EXCELLENT. The people who work here are as truly diverse as it should be. The seasonal isle is extremely cool, especially Halloween, but they really do every season right. currently summer is being put up, and even if you need a water bottle with a fan built in for $3 bucks, they have it. Every season is great Christmas... you could decorate your house, office, car and neighborhood with their selection. Valentines day, Easter, and Halloween candy! This store is so cool, Everything is kept properly stocked, nothing, and I mean nothing is old or should be replaced soon. I Dont use the pharmacy but have only heard good comments from other customers, including a drive up window. I like the "nice" water brand 3 dollars a case is better than ALL others. The photo section has a kiosk and counter for every type of memory card, and machine to edit your photos, I'm not big into photography but, there is someone at the photo counter every time I come in, so they must be really good at it. Access to the parking lot are excellent, one from 6 mile Rd and 1 from newburgh Rd. No Potholes. In the off event of a problem, it is taken very seriously and remedied right away. When entering the store someone always says hello, and really means it! The AsSeenOnTV section is always kept stocked, in fact everything, in every isle, is well stocked or removed. Even though this is a Walgreen's it is more like a family corner store. There is no Employee high turnover rate here, which says a lot for management. Also shopping carts are kept in the store and not banging into your car, with ample parking on both sides of the store. Now if a awning is put up over the sidewalk on the store, it would be perfection. A traditional Coney Island right next door, with great gyro's and fries. Don't waste your time with the so called competitors "rite aid" across the street, they sell nothing but old junk, but go ahead and try to compare, you will only waste your time and money, and maybe health. read more
