The Pharmacy at 1100 N. Collier is terribly UNDERSTAFFED. I have lived in Marco Island for 11 years and have watched their service decline steadily over the past 2 years. During peak season, service was poor but now that everyone gone for the summer, there is still no change in their service level. Senior management should take a cloose look at this location. I am considering moving all of my business to CVS or the big Publix. read more

The pharmacy is completely useless. Every person that works at the pharmacy is hateful, incompetent and rude. If you ever have a problem and try to call them, you'll be on hold for 30 minutes before someone answers you, puts you back on hold and never picks up again. 100% switching to CVS like everyone else. read more

The pharmacy NEVER picks up when you call. I have tried multiple times throughout the day and 100% they do not pick up. I have held for 20 minutes before when the recording says that I am the next caller. Avoid this pharmacy, not much better in person -very slow!! read more

Bruce is the most helpful pharmacist technician/manager in the pharmacy that I have ever met. He takes his time with every person to ensure that they get what they need. I have had several interactions with him. I love how he keeps a smile while he works like he does. read more

I went to this Walgreens to get a passport photo on a USB port stick to apply for an Irish passport. The first try a nice young man helped me. I went to upload my photo on Ireland's passport web site and was told "Your photo has failed to meet the required standards.". So I went back the next day. A store manager helped me this time. What I noticed is that on the computer when selecting a country for the passport, Ireland was not an option. She tweaked my photo and gave me a new USB stick. I tied to upload this image again and received the same message stating my photo was a fail. So I had to go back to Walgreens today, for the 3rd time. Upon entering the store I asked the cashier for help in the photo department. It took at least 10 minutes for somebody to show up. I think 2 people were working this entire store. This woman today to was of zero help. She knew nothing about passport photos. I demanded my $25 back & went to CVS. CVS had the option "Ireland " for the passport photo!!!! Bottom line, if you need a photo for an Irish passport go to CVS. read more

This place is understaffed and the staff it does have is rude and clueless. Drive through window not working. Been that way for 7-10 days. Make you go inside to pick up your order. On 5/30/2019 I was in Marco Island and short on prescriptions so I went to the pharmacy. I was greeted by a friendly Barbara which relayed to the pharmacist my needs. Ms. Baker, M. (PharmD) went ahead to provide me my needed meds. I was surprised as they were extremely busy (drive through customers, walk in questions and orders plus the normal stuff). If I could leave 0 stars I would. There is one elderly man that is a cashier that is so sweet. But the guy working across from him today should not be working with people. It is Christmas Eve and a sweet man came in trying to purchase a few items. His cards weren't working with the machine and the cashier was yelling at him and saying "oh my god" and aggressively jamming his card in the machine when he couldn't get it to work. Then, when he left (he wasn't even able to purchase the items because the cashier was absolutely no help besides stressing the man out and yelling at him) he called him a "freaking idiot" as he walked out the door empty handed. Despicable behavior. As the cashier your job is to assist the customer not be terrible to them. Never seen anything like this. It's Christmas Eve, be better. read more

I live on the island and will literally drive to any other location to use the pharmacy. I've never waited less than 30 minutes for my prescription AFTER calling to see if it was ready. I hate to leave a bad review but it's just every single time!! read more

Both Walgreens on Marco gave me run around about my prescription. One didn't have it , sent me to other Walgreens and wouldn't call first to confirm if they had medication. The second Walgreens said they didn't have much left. So what the heck is that? Still don't have prescription, lets see what tomorrow brings. First Walgreens is suppose to order it. Worst pharmacy staff i've ever seen. They have absolutly no compassion for customers. I brought in 4 prescriptions and was told three would be filled in 3 hours and the fourth could not be filled because they did not have the cough syrup and didn't know if they were getting any in. Here it is the cold and flu season. When I returned after three hourd I was told by a rude young woman only 6 pills out of 20 for one prescription was filled and all the rest would have to be picked up the next day. This pharmacy is gauging patients! I have to use Good Rx since I have no Rx coverage. Every time I go into Walgreen's on San Marco Rd, FL, the price is higher than should be. I always have to give them the Good Rx # again and again. Winn Dixie is the best for prices or Publix but now that Publix is closed, Winn Dixie is where I'll go. Travis the pharmacist is awesome and really works hard to get you the best deal!! The Winn Dixie pharmacy told me that every time they have a transfer of Rx from Walgreens, they don't answer because they're too busy. Just tried to pick up 3 Rx from Walgreens and it was $180 ! At Winn Dixie it's $40 for all three! hmmmmmm....Walgreens said it was with the Good Rx plan. I tried to give them the ID #'s again and they said they couldn't take them! I had gotten to the point where I avoided Walgreens just because it was such a time consuming experience. The store is perpetually understaffed, but after trying it just this week what was a time consuming experience has gotten worse under new management. The woman who checked me out was apologetic but as a front line worker there was nothing she could do to make her store operate less like the DMV and more like a pharmacy. read more

The day I stopped by, I found some great bargains in the cosmetics department. I think they "move" a lot of product out because people just don't buy it. I got 12.00 bottles of nail polish for less than 2.00. I got 6.00 false eyelashes for 1.50. Color me surprised. read more

I am astonished at the negative posts. My experience was very different. The pharmacy where I called in my prescription was closed so I went to the one on Collier--the pharmacist was very helpful and told me that he could fill the prescription since it was another walgreens. He said it would take 15 - 20 minutes-which it did. When it was completed the cashier called me; she was gracious and helpful. Since I was waiting for about 20 minutes, I was able to observe her. Horrible pharmacy understaffed with rude, incompetent, uncaring employees. For example, with 3 counter positions but only 2 counter workers, one walks away with no explanation and an "I could care less" expression. Another time I waited to have a prescription filled. They said it would be 30-45 minutes. After an hour sitting right across from the counter I asked how much longer it would be. The clerk checked her computer and said it was already filled. It had been sitting in a bin and the clerk failed to notify me. No apology, of course. read more

The pharmacy is severely under-staffed during season. While a line of cars wait for drive-up window service, and as inside customers form long lines only one tech is servicing customers waiting. The pharmacist and another tech are filling prescriptions and are totally oblivious to the lack of service to customers waiting to be waited on. I waited 15 minutes and I was first in line. When finally waited on 2 of my prescriptions weren't ready although an earlier email said they were. No one was apologetic or seemed to care one bit. I plan to go to another pharmacy. I hear Publix is much more efficient and professional. read more

The worst Pharmacy I have ever dealt with in my life. I'm a local here and find the Walgreens pharmacy the worst on the island. I have been called saying my prescription is ready and then when I arrive it is not. My insurance denied one and they said they don't have time to deal with it. I was on hold 25 minute and then cut off. After calling back and being on hold another 15 minutes I try and tell them what my insurance said to do and they say they have another patient here and don't have time to deal with it right now. Like I am not a patient. I asked if they would call me telling me if it gets denied so I can deal with the insurance and they said they cant call every patient they have.
