We were looking for a specific type of night light for the hotel room, which they didn't have. It's large inside with a little bit of everything. However, they had beach coverups in a pattern that I'd been looking for forever. I got excited and went through all their hanging stock. I even asked the cashier if they had any more clothing in the back room. Sadly all this particular merchandise was already on display. And the pattern I wanted? Not in my size. Quel dominage! Good to know there's a CVS here on island now, however.

My grandson and I went to the counter and ordered our subs not much of a line they had three ppl at the counter making the subs but the guy we got was to say slow might be the biggest understatement of the year. My wife got her groceries went home let the dogs out and came back the an was still making our subs the Iran war is over he's still making the subs the groceries we got from the public where slow sub maker will expire before he makes our subs . This was a Saturday today is a Wednesday and we are still inline for our subs. When we purchase something they usually ask if we want to use some of that money to pay for it. (Have to use in even $10 amounts.) The lady that checked us out didn't ask and said she never heard of that. Weird though cause I'm sure she checked us out before. She said that she has a Walgreens credit card and it doesn't work that way. Walgreens at home, Pekin , IL we never have had a problem. Here, it only allows only $20 to be taken off so I try to not buy over $29.00...especially since I have over $185.00 banked. Anyway, we tried it twice and even once tried charging over $35. The checker acknowledged that it shows I have over $185 to spend. But still said she's never heard of it taking money off the bill. So I went to pharmacy to see if their checkout computer would do it. Checker was fussy and wouldn't even try. So, I called number on back of Synchrony credit card. NO help there. They told me to call customer service for Walgreens, so I did. So I kept customer service on the phone and went back in so customer service could tell the lady that wouldn't acknowledge it IS suppose to work this way. She still acted unimpressed and not helpful or apologetic or try to do it again to see if she could get it to work‍ So, then lady (customer service) on the phone acknowledged it should work and suggested I try to do the order on the phone to "pick up" to see if it would work that way! REALLY I'm a senior... which I can't get senior discount and use my banked money on senior discount days, which sometimes they don't acknowledge that here either! They also won't allow you to use a coupon and your banked money at the same time. Yet, they say "your points/banked money" is "just like cash." Anyway, it's already been over an hour and it takes so much more time to do...... and a pain in the butt. I think they should have offered to try to order it themselves on my phone for pick up or whatever ... but NO. And it just appeared no one even cared or said sorry it didn't work. Checkout lady still thought she was right that she'd never heard of giving money off. Duh VERY DISAPPOINTED!! Will be canceling my flight Walgreens Synchrony credit card!!!

I stood so very uncomfortably with no one ahead of me while I watched 4 employees either walking around aimlessly with no urgency or doing other things while a line grew like a weed behind me. Then I had other prescriptions to also be filled and was told I couldn't wait for them and I had to come back. I took a bus there. I am livid with how customer service wasn't even present. The employees chatted with each other instead of taking care of customers and their needs. This location unfortunately gives the others a bad rap. I'm changing pharmacies. So incredibly mad.

I found that section in the back of the store but it was very out of stock. Thankfully, the regular "eye" section of this Walgreens had a variety of contact lens solutions to choose from. All of them rather expensive even with the Walgreens "membership" discount. I bought the smallest bottle they had and paid for it quickly. The store is in clean and tidy, laid out the same as other Walgreens I've been to across the USA. Once you're inside, this could be Fort Worth TXX or Berkeley Springs WV or Shelby NC. Very formulaic. I just had surgery I went 7 hours without pain meds. I was supposed to be on bed rest but no I had to come in bc after almost 20 phone calls and lie after lie excuse. I was clearly in distressed, still bleeding, pale, hunched over in pain struggling to walk. There is no empathy behind that counter. I simply just wanted to get my prescription and go but no pharmacist wanted to play doctor and choose a different medicine for me other than what was prescribed by a SURGEON. I was a "red flag" bc of my age? Apparently 32 is alarming. Was it so hard for her to realize I was in town visiting family and had a medical emergency! She humiliated me, belittled me and clearly shouted out my personal medical info. Clearly breaking HIPPA. No courtesy, no respect just unprofessional and disrespectful behavior. I was at my worst and had to fight to get 15 pills... at 5 mgs... lol like it ain't that serious lady! Eventually I had to go back and forth with my surgeon AFTER HOURS on a Friday and finally they called the pharmacy and the pharmacist argued with my surgeon over the medications! She could have said from the beginning here are our concerns I don't feel comfortable filling this prescription bc... etc Please get out of healthcare and customer service bc you have the empathy of a Nazi. Why are you fighting with every customer over their meds? Why are you lying? Why are you dragging it out. Disorganized and chaotic. And all the other employees ignored me, wouldn't talk to me, wouldn't help me. Spineless. Just stayed silent in her compliance. If my boss or anyone treated a post op patient like that I'd stick up for someone. Thankfully a very kind stranger saw I was in terrible pain barely able to walk and helped. It should not have been a 7 hour debate back and forth between doctor and pharmacist. Let's see you go in for emergency surgery on vacation and be withheld pain pills. And I never take pain pills! So for her to label me a drug seeker in front of everyone was embarrassing . I've been to plenty funerals for overdoses... this was an emergency. She ruined my recovery and I am in so much more pain from walking and driving. Because she was having a bad day I had to suffer in pain and delay my recovery
