It's a good Walgreens location, I'd suggest getting more cashiers since there was only one person working on a check out for four, and that probably caused that long line. Nice and wide ranged selections, spacious store. Overall, it's a good Walgreens location. read more

They have their own parking lot which is great for the beach! It is limited to 1 hour and located behind the store. The store is very large and has a good assortment. It can be a little more clean and organized. Several cashiers were working so no long lines, it was fast! read more

Printing services are the worst thing here. They just don't know how to use the machines so they say they are not working. They see you designing holiday cards and gifts for hours, they let you order and when you have to pick them up, after waiting a long time they say "oh I don't know how print that" "the machine is broken" "the person who does that is not here today" all kinds of excuses. So disrespectful of people's time! I asked the manager to print a sign saying the machines are out of order or no printing services today, but she refused. I saw many other families coming to request the same services and after spending time designing things, they were told the same. WORST SERVICE EVER!! I took a SIGNED prescription for my mothers pain and they REFUSE to give it to her! They had us going there 4 days and ultimately said she cant get her prescriptions because its "delicate" medicine but her physician sent a WRITTEN SIGNED prescription!! Worst pharmacy ever!!! -10 is my real review!! This Pharmacy never has the medications ready when I go to pick them up, even though I call them in days prior. One of the pharmacists, a short-haired woman with an evil, gaunt face even closed the gate on me as I was requesting they make sure they have the prescription ready first thing the next day, as they were closing in one minute. She said" I cant help you" then closed the gate in my face!! What a Bitch!! NEVER GO THERE! This Walgreens was an absolute god-send tonight. Following a hardy meal at a local Colombian restaurant, my sister became very ill and began losing control of her bowels during the car ride home. We had to immediately find a bathroom, swerving through the streets of Miami and drifting around corners until we found this Walgreens. Upon arrival, she entered the grounds and waddled to the toilet clenching her cheeks harder than she had ever before. The pharmacy staff are terrific. However, they're extremely understaffed. There are long wait times on the phone and in person. I don't know how the staff deal with it. The pharmacy portion needs to be expanded and staffed sufficiently. read more

I was IN MY HOSPITAL GOWN when I went there because I couldn't put my jeans on after my surgery. I waited OVER AN HOUR at that other Walgreens in North Miami. I am writing this review in hopes that someone that cares reads this and does what they're supposed to do. This review has nothing to do with the staff! The staff was great and helpful. This review is about the location's security. So I visited the store yesterday at around 11:30 pm. I went to get a product that I need for my glucose check. While I was in line asking the cashier a question about the product I needed, I saw these 2 guys walked into the store and out of it with a 24 pack of Heineken beer. But they didn't walk out after paying for it... no! They took it! They stole it! Immediately I told the cashier: hey! I just saw these 2 guys walk out of the store without paying for a case of beer ...! In hopes that she would take whatever action they should take after protocol. The cashier, who had just contacted the night shift person on charge told me right away: oh, honey! Don't worry! This happens every day at different times of the day. We have reported such activity to the company and managers but nobody seems to care enough to take action. And these people keep on coming to do the same thing daily. Worse part is, they have spread the voice around and now more people come and take it. Not wanting to believe such comment, I proceeded to alert the charge person of the night shift. And she replied back with the same type of comment, adding also that because it's happened that these people get aggressive towards them, and there is no security available, they have stopped trying to stop such events for fear of an action against their safety. And this is where I become concerned... I don't care if Walgreens doesn't care about losing money because they probably make so much more that that. But it becomes concerning when a company doesn't do what they are supposed to do to keep their workers and their customers safe. Because today is a beer, but tomorrow could be some armed robbery or life threatening situation. Why not have someone that can keep order and safety in check while their customers choose to come spend their money on your business???? i've been going to this walgreens since back in the days when it was a woolworths. i definitely feel like it's a lot smaller than it used to be an not nearly as convenient... they don't carry the two things that i used to go there for which were cds and spray paint.... they even had a selection of bikes. Then again, walgreens will always have redbox which throws all previous comments out the window. there's nothing really that special about this walgreens aside from the woolworth's factor... it's got a pretty decent drink selection but the best coconut water is still on 65th. There seems to also be an abundance of cops around these parts so maybe it's a good place to park your car since there may be some ruffians about or homeless ppl waiting to steal your change. read more

The reason for the 3 stars is because I've never been to a pharmacy that lets dogs walk around as if it's the norm, I was disgusted. Over all I went here twice seeing the closest pharmacy that my gps located and on two different occasions I saw people walking their dog, I asked the employee he chuckled as if it was ok. I know some people will disagree with me on this but I'm allergic to pets so this is not the place and when I went the second time I realized what I was buying the Benadryl. Seriously not cool, people walk around I. This world with allergies to pets this policy should change. A bunch of ghetto workers working right on Collins Ave from the cashier to the supervisor. Going to this location do not expect anything but trash. Collins Ave has been going down over the past few years and this Walgreens shows exactly how low they are getting by the customer service at this location. I was denied use of the bathroom by the cashier she was terribly rude and told me she will not open the restroom I asked for a manager and what was that for she was just as bad. I told the supersivor her associate is acting stupid with me and the supervisor said I disrepected her associate and acted as if I said every curse in the book after I said her associate was acting stupid. The supervisor said this is not a public restroom and that she will not open the bathroom for me disrespecting her associate. I told the supervisor I was disrespected by her worker and I was a paying customer. She walked away and had me waiting for an additional manager. When the new manager came over she asked me nothing about the situation she let her worker talk. This manager spoke nothing to me as I started telling her what was going on. I asked the first supervisor her name and she streched her name badge to my face. I slapped both her hand and badge out my face and told her do not do that again. This was all happening in front of her manger. Nothing professional came out of second managers mouth. The unprofessional ghetto supervisors name is Liz or Liv what trash they have working there. These women carried themselves so unprofessionally and the fact they made it their business knowing there was no other way to get into the restroom but by their help is absolutely disgraceful and makes them disgusting karma will come back to them and hopefully the same treatment. Why am I not surprised to see the low rating this specific Walgreen's has? It makes sense that if one (otherwise pretty nice) customer has a terrible experience somewhere, many others must also have had a similar experience. The difference is that not everyone is infuriated enough to take precious time out of their day to leave a bad review. To the manager of this specific store: do you give ANY sensitivity training to your staff? Although the middle-aged lady I interacted with on 2/7 at 6pm should already have taught basic manners to her children and / or grandchildren and should not have needed additional training in BASIC MANNERS! I asked for a price check on a clearly erroneously stocked item and I was shamed and humiliated as if I were the orange juice bandit trying to scam Walgreen's out of $1. This was the last straw for me as I have had multiple bad experiences in this store in the 1(!) week I've been here. My Mom had the sales flyer from the Sunday newspaper and wanted to stop to buy a few things. I went in with her, since there were a few items advertised that I wanted to buy. It was NOT a fun experience. It was the first day of their sale and they were already out of the ice tea I wanted. I tried asking one of their employees where the ice tea in the sale paper was. He sent me to the wrong place. Nobody else was very helpful. The one employee that was willing to help me find the tea couldn't find it either. She said they probably don't carry it. A lot of the shelves in the grocery area had empty spaces. No wonder we couldn't find stuff. I gave up, but my mom found a few items she wanted. It's a good thing she checked her bill. The hair dye she bought rang up wrong. The candy that was on sale rang up full price. The manager had to correct her bill. The other customers who were in line behind us weren't happy. My rating had to do with the pharmacy and not the rest of my experience at this Walgreens. My prescription was sent out over a week ago to the Walgreens electronically. I got a text from them saying it was delayed and no further action was needed by me. I waited for a few days but heard nothing from them. I then went in person and the pharmacist told me I should have called them. Fine, maybe there's a mistake in the way the text is worded. Then he tells me that he still does not have the prescription because he has not ordered it yet, and that it will be ready the following Tuesday. The Monday before I get a call from him saying that he needs to get ahold of my doctor to confirm the prescription (which again was sent electronically directly from my doctor) and that he would call me back. I hear nothing from the pharmacist for the rest of the day, and assume that they got ahold of the doctor and my prescription would be ready the Tuesday afternoon as they had told me (already 8 days from when they received it). I called them on the Tuesday before I got in and they said that since they have not got ahold of my doctor that it Is still not ready. If they would have called me back like they told me I could have contacted my doctor to let him know. I have been prescribed this medication for years and this is the pharmacy where there had been any issue at all. Disappointing, unprofessional, and dangerous for a patient's health. read more

I usually visit Walgreens if not on daily basis, often enough to assume that I am a regular customer. Unfortunately this location in particular is the closest one to me, and I say "unfortunately" due to one single fact: IS THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN!!!! Customer service sucks beyond everything imaginable, at a point that is disrespectful. Their associates, specially Annia and another guy with glasses whose name I can't remember, don't try to grasp an issue into a manageable conversation, or even try to get a solution to arrange customers satisfaction, instead they turn everything into a bigger deal and make themselves unbendable trying to ensure that their point is proven. Easy answer is : "call Walgreens and ask so you can see". I don't have to call anywhere when I have there more than 10 "associates" to help out, well, only if they can because most of them are not even able to maintain a conversation with a proper manner, or to maintain a conversation at all since language looks to be a barrier. Oh, I forgot to mention, gossiping in front of customers is usual, I can only think that same thing happens when I turn around, but just being me the center of all commenting instead of the client that was in front of me. read more

It's just a Walgreens. It's clean and has the usual selection of a beach drugstore, but the soda fountain had been out of order for months. The employees are generally pleasant, but often slow (universal among all chain drugstores, from what I can tell). It's fine. I'm here almost everyday vs. the CVS across the street, so it must not be too bad. read more

Less than two blocks from my hotel, went there after midnight and a few shoppers were there. Pleasant older lady cashier and maybe two other employees. Good food section so plenty of late-night munchies and ice cream if you desire. Lots of souvenirs and beach towels. All-night bars on this stretch, so you may find tipsy revelers swaying along the street. read more
