The cosmetic department is always great with complimenting my purchase with big saving from coupons the clerk cut at home for the customers! The photo staff knows their stuff, very well trained. The only disappointment is that they are usually stocking the inside of the cooler and you have to wait for someone to notice you and then find the photo department employee for you. The pharmacy is very informative, always suggesting great remedies and which products are the best for my buck. This place has great deals, however, when I'm purchasing a gallon of milk - it's more than annoying when I'm offered to purchase a 24 pack of batteries along with it. What? Then if I return 2 minutes later because I forgot the butter, the clerk asks me once again "Would you like to purchase a 24 pack of batteries?" I scowl over at the display and notice the sign that states "FREE (if I don't offer to you)" - what a horrible way to do business. This practice might want to be put to rest, CVS is within walking distance. The only other suggestion that I have for this place is tidiness. I understand that they are utilizing staff from every other department to build the Christmas display in August so they are rushing... but the middle of the day shopping experience seems to include large boxes in the middle of the aisle and usually someone on top of a ladder preventing customers from getting by. Whatever happened to having the store "ready to sell" when the doors open? Large displays should not be constructed during business hours.

I'm finally able to review the last haircut and highlight from a few years ago. My 2plus ft of hair…read moreis still recovering. I used to see Greg, who was amazing! He went to another Ulta about an hour away at this time. I made an appointment and I do not remember her name for the life of me but I sure do remember the incidents that occurred. I was there for a partial and cut. I was offered Olaplex which is always a yes from me. The woman was ok seemed welcoming. Half my head done and she had to leave me with lightener to go and pierce an elder woman's ears. The whole time I was praying to the gods my hair didn't fry. About 20 minutes go by and she's back. Starts working on the rest of my hair ... not part of it ALL of it got highlights. Ruining what was already gorgeous. While sitting there I kept seeing this guy and he'd stand there and just stare at us and then over towards the shelves of hair products and back at us. I asked the girl if she knew him or something. Nope! Something was off. He would leave and come back. I finally came out and asked, "Are we being robbed right now"? Her answer was, "Yes. But we can't call the cops. We just have to let them do it. Nothing "we", ie; Ulta can do. I was already dreading this appointment from the ear piercing appointment during my appointment (she was the only hairdresser there). Now I was staring at a guy being the damn lookout for theft. After all of this, no haircut because she ran out of time. My right side of my head had bleached so much my hair was melting off and it was platinum silver white. Like nana white. Gandalf the White white. It's about 2.5 years later and my hair is still fried. I had to find someone that I'd be comfortable with my long hair because after that?? You lose a bit of faith. I did find someone and even after a few trims and adding lowlights back in, it's still not the same. My new hairdresser found damage that I didn't even see in the back. Fried off hair underneath. I don't want anything to do with any Ulta hairdressers ever again. For the rates they charge... nope. The whole experience changed my view on how Ulta runs their ship. I wanna feel safe. That's a start. 0 stars. I don't even want an apology. I've moved on after getting this out.
