I will never shop here again, and I'll spread the word around to those i know who shop at this store. Not everyone who walks into this establishment is looking to steal. He went to another Ulta about an hour away at this time. I made an appointment and I do not remember her name for the life of me but I sure do remember the incidents that occurred. I was there for a partial and cut. I was offered Olaplex which is always a yes from me. The woman was ok seemed welcoming. Half my head done and she had to leave me with lightener to go and pierce an elder woman's ears. The whole time I was praying to the gods my hair didn't fry. About 20 minutes go by and she's back. Starts working on the rest of my hair ... not part of it ALL of it got highlights. Ruining what was already gorgeous. While sitting there I kept seeing this guy and he'd stand there and just stare at us and then over towards the shelves of hair products and back at us. I asked the girl if she knew him or something. Nope! Something was off. He would leave and come back. I finally came out and asked, "Are we being robbed right now"? Her answer was, "Yes. But we can't call the cops. We just have to let them do it. Nothing "we", ie; Ulta can do. I was already dreading this appointment from the ear piercing appointment during my appointment (she was the only hairdresser there). Now I was staring at a guy being the damn lookout for theft. After all of this, no haircut because she ran out of time. My right side of my head had bleached so much my hair was melting off and it was platinum silver white. Like nana white. Gandalf the White white. It's about 2.5 years later and my hair is still fried. I had to find someone that I'd be comfortable with my long hair because after that?? You lose a bit of faith. I did find someone and even after a few trims and adding lowlights back in, it's still not the same. My new hairdresser found damage that I didn't even see in the back. Fried off hair underneath. I don't want anything to do with any Ulta hairdressers ever again. For the rates they charge... nope. The whole experience changed my view on how Ulta runs their ship. I wanna feel safe. That's a start. 0 stars. I don't even want an apology. I've moved on after getting this out.

I stumbled upon this shop while exploring Edgartown and I'm so glad I did! I was drawn in by the…read moresweet scent that literally wafted onto the street. It just smelled so clean and beachy! The shop itself is simple and serene, decorated in neutrals with a pretty chandelier in the window. The sweet girl at the counter greeted me and explained that there are five major scents, each one based on one of the towns in the Vineyard. It was such a cute concept! I wandered around and checked out each of the fragrances. There are only a handful of products for each fragrance, plus some men's products (aftershave and a moisturizer). They also have some gorgeous pre-made gift baskets that would make a great hostess or bridal shower gift. I settled on the Tisbury fragrance, which was subtle and sweet and reminded me of the smell of fresh cut grass and the mornings spent walking to Morning Glory Farm. The Edgartown scent was a close second, with grapefruit undertones. I selected a combination package of shower gel and body lotion, which was priced at $40. They also offered body butters, a body scrub, and scented candles. The company has a website, but it won't be offering the products for purchase online until later this summer. I am absolutely thrilled I stumbled upon this shop so that I could bring a little reminder of vacation home with me!

Cute makeup shop in Provincetown…read more While on vacation in the area, we had some free time and happened upon this makeup shop. I was just looking around when I noticed that they had some of the makeup on sale for 50% off, specifically the Stilla brand. The owner (I assume) was very helpful when I asked her about the tinted moisturizer. There was never any pressure to buy and she was nice enough to write the specific tint for the moisturizer in case I wanted to purchase it another time. I was going to buy it from this place but out of habit, I asked to see the expiration date. Well, it had expired--in fact, all of them were expired. The owner was apologetic--I don't think she knew. Even still, I could go back to her shop. The service was great and it's good to support a small business. The shop is cutely decorated with two different entrances on the outside but they're both connected on the inside. The prices are slightly higher but they seem to have enough sales so it works out.
