We paid, and were given order number: 873. There wasn't enough chicken prepared to fill our order, so they told us it would be 6 minutes for the next batch. Well, that batch came and they immediately started filling orders that came in after we had placed our order. 881... 882...883... 890! They filled a half-dozen or more orders before our order number was even started. Then, as they began filling our order they were out of chicken (breasts) again! We continued waiting, and after 20 minutes without an update, I asked how much longer is this going to take? Answer: another 15 minutes or so!!! I get it: Mistakes happen. What matters is how they are recovered from, and Royal Farms staff did nothing to try to make it right. We weren't offered substitution options. We weren't offered a complimentary fountain drink while we wait. We weren't even offered an apology for the mis-ordering of order fulfillment. The attitude seemed to be, "We have your money; you'll get your order when we give it to you." It took nearly an hour to get our order, from the time we paid until the time it was handed to us. This is unacceptable. We will never order chicken from this location of Royal Farms again. Postscript: They placed our hot, steaming, crispy chicken in two separate sealed zip-locked plastic bags. During the 10-minute drive home that steam managed to turn that crispy, crunchy breading into a slimy, goopy, slippery mess. Thanks again, Royal Farms! Nope; never again!

I filled the gulp cup and then at checkout he proceeded to charge me full price. Turns out it was the wrong size Big Gulp. WHY didn't he tell me before I filled the cup? He response was that I should have looked at the label and known. We went round and round a few times. Then he accused me of trying to cheat him. I paid and left. Another visit, my hot dog was cold. I asked to exchanged for another one and the (different) clerk said there was nothing he could do since I had already taken a "large" bite out of it. My FINAL visit ever to this place was getting a Big Gulp Pepsi that was flat. I didn't bother to go back in. I'm done with this location. I will drive further to another.

Not, it's not a beer and wine store, but it's a great stop when you want to grab a slightly offbeat libation. There's also a nice selection of chilled white and sparkling wines. The selection of red wines is affordable but more obscure than your average convenience store, making for great pick-ups to bring to parties or give as gifts. You'll also find some convenience far like sodas, chips, butter, ice cream, etc., but it's the friendly owners and beer selection that keep me coming back.

Only real complaints are that it closes at 10pm (Where as Patterson Express and Sheppard Market are open til midnight), no Pepsi product 2-litres, and a $5 credit card minimum which sucks if I'm just popping in for a 22oz beer or a pack of batteries. All in all, a great neighborhood market and beats the pants off of 7-11 in my opinion.

It looks like a typical convenience store, and you'll find a few chips and breath mints, but the focus is on beers and wines. There were plenty of wines, but I can't vouch for the quality. My eyes were on the beers. It's almost as good as those premium specialty beer stores!
