I surely hope anyone considering this pharmacy reads the reviews because they are spot on. We have had almost every difficult issue listed here and it's literally getting worse every month. It won't matter how much proof or documentation from Walgreens Pharmacys own receipts web site or text to explain the issue they will counter its the insurances fault, your fault or the Drs office fault. Mind you we are talking Cardiac meds, narcotic, blood thinners. Apparently they don't think it imperative that patients take these as directed by the Dr. Yes the comments about long wait times to physically get the actual prescription are true but even that would be bearable if after waiting 45 min you got your medication but actually very often once your at the counter you probably are still not actually going to get your medication. Also interesting that Yelp only shows two obvious reviews from 2 years ago Until you go to write a review and multiple 1 and 2 star reviews from 2022 show up with all the same nearly exact complaints. If you have a choice try Raleys just across the street a total different experience. They often see you know your name and what prescription your getting before you can even tell them. The rare times I have had an issue they immediately resolve it and don't send you on wild chases that accomplish nothing. They genuinely are helpful and seem as if they are part of your health care team and actually care that you get your medication in a timely manner. read more

Worst pharmacy staff. Not all but most. They judge you and treat you like a pill popper even though you are in pain. Doctors prescribe medicines for a reason. Very discriminatory and flat out rude. 0 stars. read more

Horrible service at the pharmacy. Every time I come it takes at least 30 minutes at the drive through for me to get my medication. Inside is the exact same thing. Line takes forever and you have to set aside 45 minutes to an hour of your day just to pick up a prescription. Definitely switching pharmacies. read more

I visit this Walgreens often because it is close to my home. There never seems to be anyone working the photo counter and they are ALWAYS hassling me about a copyright release on photos that I took. Really!?! The drive thru pharmacy is a joke. If there is ANYONE ahead of you- leave! Otherwise you will be waiting forever. The store never seems to have sale items in stock. Two weeks in a row I have gone in for an item on add and nothing. Only reason I go back is because it's close. read more

This place sucks. It's always super slow but I honestly don't expect much so it's never been a big deal. Today was the last straw, though. I had a Rx sent here during normal business hours, but when I went to pick it up there were photocopied signs stating that the pharmacy was closed, go to the Coffee Rd. store, sorry for the inconvenience. Which would be fine. Sh!t happens, I get it. But what I don't get is why they didn't set up a way to forward incoming prescriptions to the other store. They didn't. Everyone I spoke to at both locations just told me to come back tomorrow. LAME. Thankfully, my life doesn't depend on this med. After many phone calls I was able to get my Rx sent to Raley's. I love Walgreens' photo print services. The photos are unbelievably reasonably priced, are always beautiful quality, and ordering photo prints on the Walgreens app is so convenient and my photo orders are ALWAYS processed in a timely manner!! The staff is also very friendly. read more

This is a wonderful Walgreens. At least one employee greets you as you come through the door. Great customer service.

This is the slowest pharmacy I have ever seen. I waited an hour total to pick up one prescription, including 20 minutes once I got up to the window, because they hadn't billed my insurance. After they billed it, they had to reprocess my entire prescription, which took even longer. There was one clerk trying to run two windows inside and the drive-thru, while they had five other staff inside the pharmacy. This store is poorly staffed and a waste of time. Go to the Walgreens on Coffee instead. I have never waited more than 10 minutes at that location. read more

Pharmacy takes forever! I dropped off prescription at 5pm on a monday I had just. Left urgent care and was given the first dose of antibiotics needed a second in the evening for 10 days. They said it would be done in an hour. I ask them to turn on the text notifications because of one other previous experience (where again the prescription was not filled at the time given and had to wait 40 minutes when I got there) 6 rolls around and nothing. Finally I call at 7pm. They said they where still processing and they would notify me. Well 845 rolls around I finally call again. And I'm told they can have it done by closing. I explain I cannot get there in time. And they just told me they open again at 8am. So Tuesday after work (5pm) I come back to drive through (epic mistake) but I didn't want to hassle with my toddlers. Anyway there was 3 cars in front of me. It took for sure over 45 minutes before it got to me and I'm certain of the time because we actually went through the entire CD of toddler songs. By the time I was helped it was back at the first song... the ABCs -_- . There where several other cars behind me that ended up leaving as well. The main thing that irritates me is that now I took one dose of antibiotics and an entire day late it will resume. Same thing with my first experience similar. It was for my daughters ear infection. Several days late to begin antibiotics and get her feeling better. Although partly it was her doctors error. They put a certain amount of MLS (not enough for 7 days) prescribed and also put for 7 days and the MLS did not add up. Wallgreens couldn't reach doctor to clarify. I ended up asking to speak to Walgreens manager after 2 days of waiting and showing him some home care instructions I was sent home with that clearly said 7 days amount. And finally they cleared it to start processing. I don't have anything against wallgreens I love the one on coffee road but since moving to Riverbank I used Floyd and roselle these 2 occasions. Never again. I'd rather take the extra drive. read more

Rude, I called the pharmacy area to give my insurance information and was on hold for more than 15 minutes. When someone answered to ask if they could put me on hold they just assumed it was ok and put me on hold twice without me responding. With myself working in a medical clinic I expected more from a pharmacy however I was wrong!! read more

Pharmacy takes forever to fill a prescription. My medication was on back order and never received a call telling me it was so went to pick it up waited 45mins in line just to be told oh well have to order it. Not the 1st time this happened either but definitely the last. I will go to a pharmacy that actually knows what there doing... If I could I'd give them a negative 5 rating. read more

I love the service & pharmacy staff at this Walgreen's. They always greet me my name and they're fantastic at problem solving with wow customer service. My prescriptions are always filled on time with expertise, if ever there's any insurance snags they can fix them, if a prescription needs to be renewed they take care of contracting the doctor. They are able to take care of all my prescriptions needs. Totally a great store! read more

I have had 3 negative experiences at this Walgreens. Every time I have checked out, the cashier has made a mistake on the transaction and needed the manager to void it. Most recently, the manager decided on the spot not to take a MANUFACTURERS coupon because it would not scan. I had been in the store the day before and had used the exact same coupon, which scanned no problem. It would not have been a reason to raise an issue, however the managers explanation of, "I do not know why it doesn't work today, but we can't accept it" just did not fly with me. That is terrible customer service. I have not had a problem at other Walgreens, but needless to say I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. CVS and Rite Aid are better options. It seems that Walgreens has not figured out a system which makes it easy for their cashiers to complete a transaction without there being a problem. It was more of a problem with broken equipment and software flaws with Walgreens, which is really inexcusable in my opinion. Also inexcusable was the lack of customer service by management. read more

This is the slowest most annoying pharmacy EVER!!!! They need to hire about 3 more people in the pharmacy area. Rediculous!!!!!!

The slowest pharmacy I've used by a mile!! I'll be making my third trip today for one prescription. They have never given me a straight answer why the prescription is never ready. They even sent it back once before after only two days of it sitting. They didn't know why that happened either. They never seemed to care about the HUGE inconvenience of having to return and wait AGAIN for the same prescription. The lines are long and the service is incredibly slow. Close the drive up or hire someone dedicated to work only the drive up and answer phones. We will try a different pharmacy on our next refills. read more

The pharmacist, in Walgreen at 3019 Floyd Ave. Modesto, CA 95355 was so rude on the phone and hung up on me when I called to check for my medication ready! She was the worst person to talk to on the phone that she was so rude, arrogant, and full of ego for being a pharmacist!! She actually had my medication ready from the very first day I dropped my prescription! The assistant clerk told me to come and pick up my medication in 15 minutes as soon as I dropped the prescription! But I got a phone call and had to go ! I thought I'll pick up my medication later! When I got home, I got the e-mail from Walgreen saying' your medication is NOT ready'! I called Walgreen and talked to a clerk who said my medication is ready to pick up! I drove to Walgreen right away and only found out five out of ninety pills of my medication were ready! The clerk told me all pills will be ready by next day. So I decided to pick up all together next day. To give Walgreen more time, I called Walgreen two days later! The pharmacist, picked up the phone and said my medication is Not ready because they ran out of that medication!! She said she'll check other Walgreen nearby for my medication and let me know! She called me back four hours later and left such a rude message with no content! I called to Walgreen and the pharmacist said she eventually got my medication! This whole process took four days!! I never got any apology, explanation, remind call or any form of notice during these four days, except the e-mail boastingly saying " you medication is NOT ready"!! I realized eventually that the pharmacist was revenging me for not coming back in 15 minute to pick up my medication on the same day I dropped the prescription! Thus she was giving me hard time and planned the whole four-days-revenge thing and succeeded! She wasted my four days and let me go without medication for four days!!!!what a terrible person she is!!!! I went to Walgreen and complained! She apologized, but she already damaged and wasted my four days! I requested my prescription back and gave it to CVS instead! The pharmacist broke my trust in Walgreen and I'll never go back to Walgreen at all, especially this Walgreen at 3019 Floyd Ave. Modesto, CA 95355!!!! read more
