Generally this store is fine. However, my recent experience with the disrespectful staff at the pharmacy has me driving just a bit further.

This Walgreens is a shit hole terrible pharmacist assistance and the pharmacist..I went the last 3 months without my medications that I got prescribed a year ago from my doctor because the the union I'm part of switched from Health Link to Aetna.. and because they're ill trained and not good at their jobs I could not get my prescriptions for 3 months because they did not know how to transfer health Link to Aetna insurance and could not input the RX codes or insurance numbers in so I could afford to buy my scripts for a dollar a script and was trying to charge me $400 bucks for all my medications because they didn't know how to put in information for insurance right.. I had to have my Aetna agents call them and teach them how to input the insurance information and do their job for them.. even though I had already told a few of their staff they did not know what they were doing the pharmacist assistance and pharmacist for the 3 months I went without my meds.. because of them at Walgreens pharmacy.. if they keep it up this local Walgreens will be one of the ones they close nation wide because of their lack of staff and experience.. read more

If I could give less then one star I would. They are always short staffed and slow. Expect to spend 30 mins in the drive through.

Depends on the pharmacist. The little short guy who doesn't speak English well does not know how to use Walgreen's computer system. On more than one occasion, I went to find my prescription had not been refilled, and he claimed that it had never been called in to the pharmacy, telling me to get a hold of the prescribing doctors office to have them resend it. I called the prescribing doctors office and they said that they sent it. They sent it once again. After several more times, the same pharmacist claimed several more times that it was never called in, and there was nothing he could do. Long story, short, after several more calls to the doctors office, I found out that they had, indeed called in each and every time, and that the problem was the pharmacist could not "find" the prescription in their computer system. This pharmacist sent me running around in circles for days because he did not know what he was doing. I'm not certain that I trust him to give me the right drugs if he cannot even figure out Walgreens computer system. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I just had one of the most infuriating and nonsensical customer service experiences I've ever dealt with, all because my family member's personal, paid-for photos were being held hostage by Walgreens' photo department. I called to ask why her images weren't being released, and I was told they were "suspected to be professionally taken." These are private, single-use photos that she paid for--with her literally in the photos--and I know for a fact they contain no release restrictions in the metadata because I work in photo imaging and checked myself. After explaining this for five minutes, the woman in charge on 12/1/25 insisted otherwise and could not produce a single shred of proof to back her claim. When I asked her to show me the release agreement copyright she claimed existed, she suddenly shifted the requirement to something entirely different: now she wanted a screenshot of the download page or an invoice to "prove" that the photos were paid for. So which is it? A supposed release restriction (that doesn't exist)? Or a purchase receipt or screenshot of a download page (that has nothing to do with release rights in the first place because none of the images are shared on those)? I then explained what should be obvious: if their logic is that any photo that looks "too professional" requires a release form, then by their own standard every single customer with a well-shot image would need releases from every person pictured, even family, unless they personally appear at pickup. Completely absurd. Instead of responding to that very reasonable point, she became flustered--and hung up on me. To summarize: No release restrictions existed No commercial usage involved Photo contains the person who purchased it Customer provides factual, industry-accurate information Employee gets frustrated and hangs up This is not only unprofessional--it's unacceptable. Walgreens, I expect someone to follow up with me and resolve this. If not, I will continue sharing this experience publicly until the issue is addressed and your staff are trained to understand the actual policies they are trying (and failing) to enforce.
