David explained that my photo order wasn't ready because it didn't go through online I was a bit frustrated because my husband was out and about and I was counting on him picking it up shortly. David told me to place it again and he would personally push it through...my husband had already made it home and David didn't know that and I just really appreciate him valuing my time. Me and my friends walked here after school and there was a really sketchy worker. He wouldn't let us go in all together and we had to leave are backpacks on the ground in the store. But he looked through them while we we were shopping without out asking. read more

Firstly, if you walk up to the pharmacy, there is a sign that clearly states "medical services, consultations and vaccines" above a window that SHOULD be doing exactly that. There is a sign that says "drop off and pick up" for prescriptions and that's where you SHOULD get prescriptions. But that's not how they actually do their work. If you sign up for a vaccine appointment, you have to wait in line for prescriptions, which is the most leisurely looking process I have ever witnessed. I stood in line for over 30 minutes and just left. I will not be getting vaccines or prescriptions at Walgreens anymore. You are disorganized and inefficient. I also don't want to give business to a company that will allow pharmacists to deny people medications because of personal and or religious beliefs. Those employees should not be working in the medical/pharmaceutical business. Maybe go flip burgers or go join a convent. I'm putting my money where my mouth is. I will no longer go to Walgreens in any capacity. There are plenty other places to shop and to get vaccinated. Get it together, Walgreens! read more

I tried to get a passport photo taken, waited for 15 minutes and left. The woman who was working in the photo area left while I was standing there and never came back. One of the cashiers called twice and requested someone to come and help me. She even saw me standing there and left anyway. Rude as heck and totally unprofessional! read more

A very busy, consistently congested drug store! I hate the way you enter this parking lot and that it's always so busy! However, it is a more suburban-like location than the Walgreens in Covington, so I'll give it that. The pharmacy does a heck of a business, I think, both inside and through the drive through. Have no real complaints about service, it's just a crazy area to get in and out of. read more

Walk in to get an ice pack and think I walked out with covid. This is due to the fact of negligence of Walgreens employees. To explain, I'm at check out and the attendant sneezes. Ok she just sneezed whatever. Well it happened about 4 times to the point she had to stop our checkout and get a new mask because she sneezed through her last. Don't worry though she continued to check me out while two other attendants sat there and joked around about her sneezing. Absolutely unacceptable and disgusting. WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE. I made a pharmacy order online and was told to pick it up the next day 5/17/22 after 10AM. Arrived at this Walgreens in Newport Oregon and was greeted by a condescending arrogant & rude clerk. When I was informed the prescription couldn't be filled until May 23rd I asked why wasn't I informed before I drove 30 miles and she said "you should have called", really, Walgreens should not have confirmed the order to be picked up after 10AM, sent me an email saying it couldn't be filled, or called me. When I said great customer service she further demonstrated her incompetent customer service by saying "and your a great customer". I left very mad & if any other pharmacy was covered with my insurance in Newport OR I would use them. I like how I am treated at CVS and regret having to give Walgreens any business for anything. read more

Wife's doctor called in a prescription and set a monthly refill simultaneously - Walgreen's was so slow to fill that the monthly order took precedence....Walgreens never called to tell status - we had to call to find that they were never going to inform us because they thought our insurance wouldn't cover the medication....turns out they just don't understand their own systems. Kroger quickly transferred the prescription, told us how to clear it thru our insurance and Cigna. Kroger (Bellevue) and Cigna were great - Walgreens - not so much. read more

My daughter, after 1 month as a kindergarten teacher at a charter school in Cincinnati, brought home to me and my wife the flu. It hit us like a ton of bricks. My wife sent me out, to bring home the regiment of NyQuil, Sudafed, Puffs, aspirin, and Halls. A nice young man at Walgreens directed me to the NyQuil isle, I got most things that I was sent to get and then to the pharmacy. I was informed at 10:30 on a Saturday night that she would not sell me the Sudafed. Frustrated, I uttered one cursed and left. As a 51 year old business owner, I decided to call to discuss this with the manager, he informed me that it is the pharmacists choice. Mine and my wife's moment of need and they failed us. My choice is I will never shop there again and I suggest you make the same choice! read more

Unfortunately two weekends ago my dad was admitted to the hospital. When he was discharged the following Monday he needed to get and take several prescriptions. This took 2 visits to the 24 hour Walgreens in Newport. My sister picked up some of them early in the day. I picked up the last one Monday evening about 10 pm after the pharmacy was able to contact his doctor to get a much more affordable generic version for $10.00. The original prescription was about $200.00. We were very thankful for the lower price. I had two phone contacts with the pharmacy that night. I called before going to get it confirming availability and a second time afterwards to ask about how to use the topical prescription. Both calls provided helpful and friendly customer service from the 2 pharmacists I spoke with. At the store I had equally good customer service. The woman who assisted me did a very quick & friendly transaction that included getting his Walgreen's account points and asking if I had any questions. I recommend this 24 hour pharmacy if you need a prescription. Until next time be kind to each other. read more

This pharmacy often autocalls you with notifications of prescriptions that are ready to pick up, and when you arrive they act as if you are wrong and never could have received the call. This pharmacy will lie to your face and insist you picked up prescriptions already that you did not, when asked for proof they will mumble, blame your doctor and tell you to call them. This pharmacy will leave you without needed medications on the weekend without concern for your health due to incompetence in record keeping and in general. This pharmacy has caused my wife and I to move our business elsewhere and to never use another Walgreens. read more

Count on this store to get your prescription wrong every time. Check your bag to see which mistake they made this time before you leave the store because it's too late when you get home. I recently did the Dr/Walgreen yo-yo for a week. The one before this week lasted three weeks. The pharmacist last night just wanted to be a pill counter and not solve any problems. She demanded a thank you for doing her job. I guess I should have given her a tip too but nothing would please this late night loser. Her only suggested solution was to not come in during her shift. Walgreens are by their nature, pretty standardized and predictable. This one has all the "stuff" you need and at prices that don't break the bank. The man at the check out counter was really friendly. I highly recommend getting their frequent shopper car/keychain as you will save lots of money on some products. The alcohol they sell has these funny locking mechanisms on them to prevent theft. Cool. read more

To be honest, I think I have had better and faster service at a McDonald's. The merchandise in the store are way over priced and the employees are really really rude. I was yelled at by a store manager for absolutely no reason. I then watched the same manager stand around and talk to another employee and not help customers. The management is terrible and lazy, the store is dirty and items are disorganized. Their selection is not very good and the staffing is short. To top it off, getting into the parking lot requires great skill to not be hit by other cars that are trying leave. Overall this store is a nightmare and shouldn't even be thought of for "convenience". read more

Waited on hold for over 2 hours on 3 different calls for the pharmacy. Had to call the store manager where I was put on hold for another half hour & had to call back. I'm sick with fever of over 102.7 & am on quarantine from covid so going into the store was not an option for me. The drive thru was closed so there were no other options. Once I got thru the lady at pharmacy told me they just filled it but we're going to be closing at 6pm so had to be there by 5:45pm Which only gave 15 min to get there. Once there, there was a huge line & were told the pharmacist was not taking anyone else & told to leave & come back tomorrow. I understand times are hard & places are short staffed but it's not the customers fault & some depend on their medication. The lack of communication, follow thru & the way the customers were talked to & treated was completely uncalled for. I will NEVER use Walgreens again. read more

I went to Target to find some nail polish but they didn't have it, so on a whim I went to Walgreens. I was so suprised to see how many different shades of Essie nail polish they had, and they had the new spring line! Amazing! I didn't really look at the rest of the store, but the nail polish selection was top notch. A sales person even went to the back to check and see if they had more in stock and then offered to open a register just to check me out. read more

Terrible pharmacy worst ever. They texed me they had a problem with my prescription. I called sat on hold for an hour to find out they were out of my prescribed medications. It's a common medications no pharmacy should be without. My advice is to go somewhere else don't waste your time or money read more
