Needed to get something from pharmacy and it was closed at 4:00 on a Saturday. This is 3rd time this has happened on a Saturday.

They don't check both the systems that they have. The pharmacist will tell you they don't have your prescription even though they do, and it's confirmed through a receipt. I wasted an hour of my day arguing with them, and lo and behold they had it all along. Horrible service read more

If i could give a negative number i would. I have never had to deal with such incompetent pharmacy employees in my life, including and especially the pharmacist! I am not talking just once, twice ir even 10 times. I am talking every.single. time i have to deal with them, which is multiple tjmes every month, unfortunately.. what should be a once oer month trip, becomes at least 5 plus trips, for 4 monthly meds. (They havent been abke to sync the monthly meds...been trying since dec 2024.. ). If this qas the only issue, THAT MIGHT be somewhat ok..but its not. There is some issue every trip. Examples: no one can find the filled prescription (that tbeyve already texted me was ready for pick up. They even lied about it to my face..), they text that med/s cant be filled due to insurance issues (there arent insurance issues..) we have ran ut of heart meds twice due to this). Prescriptions cant be filled due to them not having in stock and/or can't get them shipped into them, to fill for us. Cant fill prescriptions as our Dr/s ha ent authorized refills.. we notify drs a d they HAVE authorized. We get back to Walgreens and tbey say they haven't received the autborization. This fun game goes on FOR DAYYYYSSS. A couple of employees have been very rude. Most just are incompetent. Tbere was one good one and he evidently got fed up and quit.. Our insurance mandates we use Walgreens, unless we want to pay hundreds more out of pocket each month. So we thought, ok, lets go to a different Walgeeens. Cant be any more incompetent... welp..we dont know, because the scripts havent been transferred as promised...that was o er a month ago.. I very much hope management reads these comments and makes slme follow ups because its a ludicrous, in the most derogatory way, how the Pacha Parkway Walgreen pharmacy is ran. I placed an order on photos to be printed. Got an email saying they were ready for pick up. I went ahead and went to the store to pick up my order and they couldn't find them, they kept looking for them. I showed them my confirmation number and their system didn't show my order. Just unorganized and a waste of my time. read more

Can't seem to get prescriptions correct and don't get quantity and ordering correct. About to find different pharmacy

OK so it took a 35 minute phone call to call order my prescription. Talk to the young pharmacy assistant said it would be ready around one. Got in line at Walgreens for the pharmacy around 1 o'clock sat in l line till 130 got to the window they told me my prescription is not ready. Then they closed for lunch and tell me to come back at two. I switch to this Walgreens because it's close to my doctor's office I will no longer use it this Walgreens is the third time that this is happened zero stars for Walgreens in North Liberty. Pharmacy is closed today. No explanation as to why, just a paper taped to the window saying as much. I'm beginning to understand why they're always so busy. When you're closed a good portion of the time that you're supposed to be in operation, the times that you are open are going to be unduly burdened with people needing their medications. I've never seen a pharmacy function so poorly before. read more

I have never had a bad experience at this Walgreens. Living close by, I see the staff quite frequently. They're super friendly and only want to give you an amazing experience. I once had a 5 minute conversation with an employee about Halo Ice Cream and which flavors they had tried and would recommend. They're very clean and tidy and the store is excellent in merchandising their products. Shout out to all the merchandisers out there! Thanks for making my shopping experience easy! read more

I am concerned about the current trend of good businesses in good areas-not having adequate staff. I am hoping this trend will change soon. Today, our local Walgreens had to close at 7pm due to lack of staff! Not ok, we've got an awesome store/employees/staff etc that would continue to be an asset to our community.... read more

Do not fill prescriptions at the pharmacy, if you do add at least a half hour to whatever wait time they give you. Also ask questions when filling, the staff never gives you the full picture. read more
