If I could give this place one star I would. My mother got a meter from this place and when we got it was stuck in another language. The battery door was also broken. We took it back to Walgreens and the pharmacist basically said I was lying and I set it up that way. I did become frustrated because I do not like to be accused of lying. I wanted to just a buy a new one but they would not let me. I will be looking into a new pharmacy. read more

I have never had such a terrible pharmacy experience. They lost my prescription, the "system" had a glitch so the insurance wouldn't process, then they said it was expired (it is not). I cannot believe how many people were told the same thing in the 45 minutes I have been sitting here waiting for my insulin to be filled. Also? This is the 5th time I have been here in the last week and a half to fill this prescription with the same result. Only difference is now it is a medical emergency because I am out of insulin. They do not appear to care in the slightest. Other visits have resulted in me receiving inaccurate prescriptions (they shorted me doses by 1/3 of the total count, and did nothing to fix the error). They give me the wrong gauge needles too. 15/10 avoid this place read more

Worst pharmacy I've ever experienced. Always rude pharmacists employees, especially the main pharmacist. She always has an attitude, and if you have any questions or concerns she'll let you know it's your fault if anything's wrong. I suggest going to practically ANY pharmacy besides this one. read more

This store's pharmacy is a nightmare! The doctor transmitted the prescription at 11 am and they were still telling me they were 'working' on it a 6 pm! I was put on a 13-minute terminal hold and hung up on when I kept calling, as the system advises. The Pharmacists never answered. I finally went into the store and there was NO ONE in the pharmacy. In fact, there was only about 10 people in the entire store and no one, not one person. was waiting in the pharmacy and none of the people in the pharmacy were on the 'phone with other people' as I was continually told. More than 7 hours to get a simple antibiotic! When I got there the techs were standing around talking to each other. Never, ever, used this place. read more

They just can't get their act together. Yesterday I called to see why I keep getting a text message that says my prescription is delayed... it's been three weeks! I've been in and out of town and not had a minute to get to the bottom of it, but am at a point that I NEED this immediately. I spoke with a guy in the Pharmacy who told me my insurance (aarp United healthcare RX) good rx. He said they would have to order it and it would be in by 11 today. An hour later I got the text saying it was delayed. He said he would remove the insurance so it would not flag again. An hour later I got the text again... I called again and was assured it would not happen again. This morning I got the text again. I called and spoke with someone who clearly did not know anything. I explained the situation and asked if the meds were there yet. She said no the insurance flag prevented them from being ordered. Ultimately I said I would rather not do business with them and had my prescription transferred to CVS. This is the walgreens on Elliott in Phoenix. They used to be awesome, but now I don't recognize any of the people I had been seen there for years and they are incompetent. read more

I'd give less than 1-star if possible. I went in to the pharmacy to get my Covid shot and they were rude in their approach to explain to me the process of scheduling. After getting the jab elsewhere I returned to this pharmacy for medication. They refused to accept my care credit and the children behind the pharmacy counter were extremely disrespectful on the store "policy" and I ended up having to pay out of pocket. After waiting in line for 25 minutes to drop off a prescription I was told they could not fill it at this location, because I have a different location selected as my "Home Pharmacy" in the system. As I explained that my family and I had just moved to this new part of town, the employee told me that "We can't fill this here, you need to go to the other location". What sucks about this particular store is the Pharmacy. I'm only addressing this because back where I'm from (Ohio) service was much faster. Long story short I got prescribed medication the other day around 4:00pm and the lady told me that won't be ready til about 6-630pm. Already red flag because back in Ohio, it was usually 15-30 mins TOPS. They tell you they will text you when it is ready, that didn't happen. 6:30 rolls around no text, called in to automated system still not ready. I wait til 8pm, same thing smh. I call speak to a physician, he tells me "We are still printing it out...Give it about another 30 mins"....A hour passes still guess what? NOTHING. From there, I decided to just go up there, I purposely didn't tell them about any of what I said earlier, just said "Here to pick up my order" The physician looks at the monitor (I'm sure in a state of shock) and proceeds to get my medication, which wasn't ready when I came in too smh. read more

My wife and I use to order a few photos here from time to time and have always been treated rudely by the young ginger woman (almost never has a badge on so I have no idea what her name is) at the photo kiosk. Recently my wife placed on online ordered so I stopped on in to pick it up as it was on my commute home. I go to the photo kiosk and inform the associate I was there to pick up an online order shipped to the store. She asks my last name, then starts thumbing through photos and said "yea it's not here". I tell her it is not photos, it was an online order shipped to the store. She then catches an attitude and said "Well you should have said that" to which I replied "I did...twice...what else do you need an order number, tracking number, my last name....again?". This store is a joke from front to back and the Pharmacy included. Pull up to the drive through and on most any day if it is you in one lane and another person in the other (or just you) you are totally ignored until it's nearly your next birthday. Not even an acknowledgement. Not even a "be with you very shortly." Inside it's even worse. Then try to buy booze here and even if you're in a walker and bent over shuffling through the store you have to show ID. Probably because one of their employees pulled a fast one some time ago. Management here is completely worthless. I do get some prescriptions here so I'll have to put up with the joke of a pharmacy, though if it gets worse I'll transfer them to CVS. Terrible. They deliberately want to waste your time. Had an Rx called in early in the morning, they send a text claiming it was 'delayed due to insurance issues'. Which is a lie- all they had to do was read my account profile. So I try not call them (good luck with that), on hold 3 times each time they answer and hang up. So then I'm forced to actually go there in person, after waiting on line over 40 minutes I'm finally able to tell them to 'look at my account profile' for my insurance info. Of course, they tell me to come back in an hour, which I do and I'm forced again to wait on line for an hour this time. So basically an entire day wasted because of something simple which hey could do themselves. What's the point of having a prescription called in if they make you come back 2 times? Eventually this POS company will be outsourced to Pakistan and China las all pharmaceutical manufacturing is done. read more

This place does not even deserve one star. the woman Pharmacist is very rude. When you call you are on hold at least 30 minutes. They tell you your RX's are ready and when you get there they aren't. I was using this Walgreens pharmacy because it is close and open 24 hours. They have royally screwed up my last several scripts. There is alway a line and long waits. After you have waited forever, you will get bad news. They will tell you prescriptions will be ready and when you go to pick them up, they aren't even in stock. They once were 'working on a prescription' for 2 days, until I got fed up and asked what Walgreens would have it. My last refill they kept trying to fax an old doctor (who I don't even see anymore) for new scripts. Meanwhile, I have lots of refills left with my current Dr. I asked if they could fix it in the computer systems and the tech got confused. The automated phone system is the worst to boot. read more

Worst pharmacy experience ever. I have been a loyal cvs customer and my health insurance forced me to change to Walgreens. I figured it was the same and I'd have no problems. Well it's clear I was wrong. My partner and I have had nothing but problems. They do not do their job efficiently and effectively. They have been withholding my meds for over a month. They have not once called my doctor office or faxed them. They do not update me and I have to go there for a follow up. The same thing happened with my partner where they were not calling the other pharmacy requesting a transfer. We have been having nothing but headaches from this pharmacy. The pharmacy techs are extremely rude and not willing to help. They just act like I'm some crazy person. I am not on Medicaid or anything like that. I have a job and private health insurance that costs an arm and a leg. I can't even get my medication because they are NOT doing their job. read more

The last straw was today when I ordered a steam inhaler via delivery. I had a notification that it was delivered and immediately went to the door. Guess what? Not there. Either it was a lie, or delivered elsewhere. I got on the chat line and they couldn't help me. Of course. Told me I had to call the store. I called the store and Rick said there wasn't much he could do since they use Uber. A smart business would have attempted to make me whole by offering a replacement or refund. This store offered nothing. He said he would "investigate." I'll never hear back. And I'll never go back there. The staff is unprofessional from top to bottom and the place is filthy. (I was in there a few days ago to get milk - and the refrigeration was apparently out and they had nothing in the cases). Do NOT go to this Walgreens. I'm going vith 2 stars because of their old medication drop box. Last Friday box was full. Monday I was stopped by someone stocking shelves that it's still full. He said its supposed to be emptied every 2 weeks but no one has come around in over 2 months. And the pharmacists have told him no stores in this area has been emptied. So we are trying to keep drugs out of the landfill, I need to drop a lot of unused antibiotics to keep out of the water table. But if Walgreens doesn't care enough to call someone and find out why the boxes are full for months then why should I care? Doesn't Walgreens have any power with own contractor? Or does Walgreens execs just not give a flying f$*# ? I guess bill just dump them because I am not running around from store to store every few days for months looking for an empty box. I recommend that you use a different company altogether. However if you are bound to Walgreens you definitely want to use a different location. I have no idea where they find their people but they don't know what they are doing at all and must be poorly trained on top of that. Their miss information with the basic knowledge required combined with their lack of any empathy and their proficiency with making mistakes will drive you out of you're mind and then you will require more medications just to make it through the week. I handed them a prescription given to me and hand signed by my doctor and they tell me it doesn't looks real because at the top of it it says Fry's Pharmacy on it. I tell them that is because that is my regular Pharmacy but they don't have a competitive price on this medication so I did my research and found out that Walgreens does have a better price. Still they decline to fill it. I hold it up to the window and show him my Doctor's signature it's right here. These people are so ignorant it seems to me that they are looking for excuses to not not fill certain medications. The head of the Pharmacy on Sundays says he will need to call the Doctor because it is a Narcotic. I knew it wasn't but I came home and checked just to make sure, guess what it is not even a Narcotic. There are RED flags here all over the place. I stopped using them years ago because of these kinds of constant blunders and hassles. Could not bother to assist me, after waiting for over 20 minutes on line, when I asked for help with finding a supplement and sends a "tech" who just read bottles and then said she had no idea what to give me. Mind you he assisted a couple in front of me for 15 minutes since they were spending a fortune on medicines. I have never received worse service and from a supposed professional at that! I needed alcohol for cleaning reasons, due to COVID 19 it is nearly impossible to find a store that has it in stock. Walgreens has been one of the only stores that occasionally has it, unfortunately they were even out on this particular night. The store pharmacy, however, was so helpful and friendly towards me which is an unusual experience at most stores lately so I was very IMPRESSED by their treatment and help. I went to check out at the pharmacy and they rang up all my items with no issues and found the item that I needed to purchase within the pharmacy with no problems and very quickly. There was no line at pharmacy throughout my entire shopping trip due to their speed and availability at pharmacy counter register. THANK YOU PM SHIFT WALGREENS PHARMACISTS 3rd st and bell location. Keep up the great customer service!! I drive out of the way and pass 8 Walgreens just to shop at this location anytime I need something from pharmacy. You guys rock!!!! Worst photo department I have ever seen. 1 girl is helping a family of 7 getting passport photos and nobody comes to assist me even after the front cashier calls for assistance. FINALLY a manager comes out of the back room after 10 minutes and decides to walk past the photo counter, but instead is interrupted by the old man behind me who needs a refund. OKay fine, help the old man first, whatever. Then the manager proceeds to leave without even asking me if I've been helped. AM I INVISIBLE? I ask him rudely "excuse me do you want to help me or do you want to call someone else to do it?" You have one job. To help people, don't assume that I'm standing there because I am I part of the passport family who is Indian and I also happen to look brown. I'll pass on coming back here in the future. read more

If you actually want your prescriptions or value your life in any way, shape, or form. Run away from the most incompetent excuse for a pharmacy and staff imaginable. We rushed my daughter to urgent care tonight due to a severe and fast progressing UTI. She is two. Doctors told us to immediately fill prescriptions and begin medication as time is of the essence and this could quickly develop into a kidney infection. We arrived at this Walgreens before 930 PM on May 6, 2015. We were told a 30 minute wait and our prescriptions would be ready. We drug our two year old, screaming in pain away as well as our 9 month old. Fine, I get fill time. We returned ~40 minutes later. I WAS THE ONLY ONE THERE. The pharmacist and the tech both ignored my existence. After 20 minutes, someone acknowledged me. The tech walked away for 5 minutes, came back and said, "Sorry, it's not in stock". Then stared at me like I was an idiot. I asked her for my prescription back...they had lost it. LOST IT! Their careless disregard for patient and customer safety it repulsive. I'm fairly certain ANY untrained person could walk behind the counter and provide far more assistance. The tech eventually found my prescription after screaming at who I assume to be the pharmacist, "Is there a prescription over there?" SO NOW YOU'RE LEAVING PRESCRIPTIONS AND PERSONAL INFORMATION LYING AROUND?! I left with my screaming, extremely ill 2 year old in tow and infant at 1040 at night. I called another Walgreens to see if they had the prescription in stock. They were equally frustrated when they pulled up my daughter in the system and found that the PRESCRIPTION WAS NEVER EVEN RAN. These fools never even put the prescription into the system, didn't think to call, lost it, then informed me it's not in stock. So now it is pushing 11 PM, my kid is sick, my infant is exhausted, my cold has worsened and we still have no prescription. I find it disgusting that these supposed educated professionals feel it is within their right to take the LIFE OF MY CHILD into their hands. I will be pursuing this complaint to the fullest extent. Corporate will be involved. It should be of significance to the store manager that EVERY REVIEW OF THE PHARMACY IS NEGATIVE and mentions the same things that I have. This is not an "oops" or rare occurrence. It is a bunch of ignorant, ill-trained, poor excuses of pharmacy techs/pharmacists. I will make sure everyone in my entire neighborhood and every surrounding one, every person we come in contact with, as well as the entire hospital staff of every hospital within the area know how incompetent this place is. Thank you for not only risking my daughter's life, but actually further injuring her. It happened again!!!!!! We went to drop off prescriptions (3) for both my children. Two were medicines available over the counter, but we were given a prescription. One is a "add water and shake". We were told an hour. We returned after that time and were told that a specific time was set....yet we weren't told. My husband returned nearly two hours later, just to be sure the incompetent fools had it done......and of course, they don't. I'm now about to take my kids to the emergency room because the pharmacy said they are too busy to fill it. Read the reviews you idiots. Fix your pharmacy staff or enjoy the lawsuits. Compared to the one we used to use in Scottsdale, the employees are a lot friendlier. The Drive Thru can sometimes be a pain after work and sometimes you see homeless people in the parking lot but it's 24 hrs which is a plus. read more

If I could give a zero I would this is the third time I've been in to pick up a medication and have had to wait more than and hour for a medicine pickup. There always seems to be an issue with every single customer. You wait in line for 40 minutes to drop off your prescription and then another hour to pick it up after its finished.
