Walgreens - 1954 SW Gatlin Blvd, Port Saint Lucie, FL 34953 Consistently poor service at this Walgreens pharmacy from employee named Alex. He has been extremely rude on multiple occasions, including asking me to come inside and join another line after waiting 45 minutes in the drive through line just because I needed to use a manufacturer's coupon for a long-standing out-of-pocket medication (not covered by insurance for years). He refused to process it and told me to return another day. I've witnessed him being rude to other customers as well. This behavior has caused significant anxiety and made me afraid to pick up necessary prescriptions here. Walgreens needs to address staff conduct and training. Patients deserve respectful, efficient service when picking up medications. We're there because we are ill. A kind word and kindness in general goes a long way. read more

Terrible experience at the Walgreens on Gatlin. It was pouring rain, and there were only two cars in the drive-thru line--mine and the one ahead. The pharmacist took over 10 minutes with the first car. As soon as I pulled up to the window at 1:32 PM, they shut the window and pulled down the shade, saying they were on lunch. Their break starts at 1:30, but I was right there with a simple prescription pickup. Wouldn't you think, given all their negative reviews, they'd try to improve their customer service? I guess not. We've now transferred all our prescriptions to another pharmacy and will never use this Walgreens again. read more

Unfortunately, my insurance uses Walgreens as the preferred pharmacy. My experiences with the store has been a nightmare. They are inefficient and they do not answer the phone. I had to follow up with my own pre-authorization for an inhaler because they never contacted my doctor. read more

the Walgreens store on Gatlin is the worst store. I wait for days to get a script filled, I'm shorted on the amount of tablets. Today when I went to pick up my script, I told them I would wait for it since I haven't taken my HBP meds in 4 days , he told me not to bother. he had too much to do before 3:re we're 5 people with the pharmacist and the one guy working pick up at both the counter and drive up window. This Walgreens always has the longest wait times. I cannot get in and out with my prescription in less than 45 minutes, ever! Also, I was home sick and tried to use the prescription delivery they offer. Well after paying for same day delivery, it never came. They called me the next morning to get my card information which they already took out the money from my account. They said it would be delivered soon. Well it never came. I ended up having a friend pick it up for me. Not good. I do not recommend the delivery service! read more

This drug store, has to be the worst in the State. There is always a wait of 12 to 15 people ahead of me. They can't find scripts that they allege have been completed. The counter people always seem confused. There is NEVER enough people to wait on the customers. read more

I keep trying with this Walgreens pharmacy wise. So many chances and so many disappointments. I turned an Rx abt a week ago for a new med doc say I need to start right away. Nothing that day, next day nothing, called, 3rd say they have it done by 1p, nothing, call again, they don't hv enough to fill, can u give me a partial, yes we have 12. Thursday now i wait in an enormous line, they have 5, will have rest next day. Next day, nope now they say thurs, well that means when I run out on Monday I have to wait til thurs (hopefully). Sat I call wait on hold, husb took over and was told by today aft 1p. I call at 4, waited on hold 48 mins, nope still next thurs. They haven't called any other Walgreens, they don't know when or what will be on truck, but if I come in tomrw they gv me 3 pills for emergency which won't be deducted from Rx. So I call Publix pharmacy, they validated my insurance, confirmed they have it and will be done tomrw, if they can reach someone at Walgreens to transfer the Rx. Took 8 minutes. This is at least the 5th wrinkle trying to get meds from this Walgreens pharmacy . All the people working there seem nice, but they don't seem to be able to help get anything done or resolve issues or provide any real info, you can't string peep along re necessary meds, don't gamble with people's medical requirements. They told me that some Rx are done out of town (like Orl or Atl) and sent next day, so why didn't they get from them in the last 4-5 days. Lost cause here. If there was a negative star option they'd earn it for this. read more

We filled out the form for flu shots on line. Went to this store to get the shot. Arrived at the time we scheduled only to be told the forms we filled out online were3 not in the system. There were 5 people in the pharmacy section. Nine people waiting online. 45 minutes after we arrived one of the 5 people gave us the same exact form to fill out that we had filled out on line. This is the most disorganized and unprofessional pharmacy Ive ever been in. We will NEVER use this Walgreens or any other. I would suggest any other pharmacy than this one. read more

Well, I tend to agree with the reviews. Nadia (sp) was a motor-mouth, spewing out her greetings. So fast it didn't make sense. I feel terrible for the elderly who may not be able to understand her nonsense. I know the flu vaccine is offered every year, however, not every pharmacy will have the updated flu vaccine on any given day. Be kind! read more

Pharmacy is awful. Every time I called to get information on scripts no one ever picks up.

This pharmacy is awful and very in compassionate towards sick people! I received a phone call that my daughters medication was ready for pick up, on the website it does not clarify what time the pharmacy closes. my husband arrived there five minutes after they close, I can completely understand if it was one person but there were five people behind the gate just hanging out and talking, when my husband apologized stressing that he needed this medication for our daughter who is suffering from lupus flare ups, the woman sarcastically pouted her lips and said "Nope" Sometimes it's just human compassion to help another human! I understand they wanna get home but knowing a child was sick it was explained to them and my husband begged them. these are people I pray never face a medical crisis and be turned away the way we were! but every thing that goes around comes around! I went to this Walgreens today and every single item I purchased came up between 50cents and 1 dollar more than posted on the price sticker. NO one would offer me a refund in store, I went on chat, again, no resolution. They just made about $8.00 on me! I will be changing my pharmacy. read more

I went to this Walgreens a today and I was so bothered by the way an employee was speaking to a customer that I had to say something about what I witnessed. An employee (white, probably in her 50s, deep voice) was restocking makeup and a customer came up and said he needed to find a flu medication his wife sent him for. She seemed annoyed and irritated that he was speaking to her, evidenced by sighing and a tone in her voice. She was dismissive and just told him "It's in aisle 14." He said he doesn't know what it looks like, and she just kept telling him to look in aisle 14. He asked if she could show him, and she said with an attitude "uh no, go look in aisle 14" with such annoyance in her voice like she was almost yelling at him. Another employee at the register asked "aren't you going to help him?" and she said "uh NO!" He came back to her with a box he found and asked a question about it being the correct product, and she "that's what it looks like, doesn't it?" I can't believe how she was speaking. She was way too bold to be speaking to someone that way so loudly in the store. I was going to ask to speak to a manager about this, but because I didn't know her position, for all I know, she could be the manager. She was also complaining loudly about how many things she has restocked today. This was all shocking to me and I hope the store does something about this employee's attitude, but her boldness and the fact that the other employees heard her makes me wonder if this behavior is tolerated. I wouldn't speak to anyone with the tone and attitude she took with this customer, let alone in a place of business. read more

Wow what a joke this place is!!! I feel bad for the nice man working there because the main guy in charge at that pharmacy has no idea what he is doing. I've never had such bad experiences with the Walgreens down south as I have had here within months of living here!! They send you an email saying come on in! Your prescription is ready for pick up and then I get there get interrogated about my address which has been the same for the last few months I've been going there and then tell me they can't fill it until tomorrow and they were just getting it ready so who wants to give me gas for going out of my way to come in and you're sending me an email that it is ready?! Unbelievable. Will go miles out of my way to not go to that Walgreens. If you don't want to ruin your day I recommend finding another place to fill any prescription. read more

The Pharmacist is knowledgeable and helpful. He's made my life easier by sharing his knowledge of over-the-counter medications, in addition to my prescriptions. My prescriptions are always ready on time and alerts to my phone are a major convenience. read more

Not my Walgreens back in Mooresville. I needed overnight Diapers from Emma. I saw them at Target, so I knew they existed. This Walgreens didn't have the "ass"ortment of diapers I was looking for. "BUTT"--they did have a nice display of Nivea lip balm. So I bought that instead. Still needed diapers. Oh, the check-out-guy was super nice. That made me not hate on this location as much as I was currently hating on them in isle 9. read more

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL and ILLRESPONSIBLE. When I got my 2nd Corvid shot, I arrived 30 minutes earlier. I was the 2nd in the line. I waited until all the people waiting have gone. No where to be found for that little young male "nurse." I then sat in front of the booth where the shot was administered waiting for that nurse to show up. 5 minutes later, he showed up and gave me a shot. It seems like nothing happened and nothing wrong to that nurse. No apology. Yauky! read more

Said my prescription will be done at 11:30 I come at 12:30 and they tell me to wait after I sat for five minutes waiting for someone to come to the window and then another two minutes for her conversation after she came to the window and proceeded to tell me that they were extremely busy when there was nobody in the parking lot and no cars in the drive thru after 10 minutes I will continue waiting on this terrible service thinking about switching to a different pharmacy. Horrible service especially on your day off still waiting after I wrote this entire review and still nothing.. Walmart here I come! read more
