The store is immaculately clean and even though the parking lot looked fuller, it didn't seem busy inside. Most of the shoppers were elderly people. The carts are nice and ergonomic it seems. There was a woman collecting carts from the outside and continually bringing them inside. It seemed darker in this store compared to Walmart and HyVee but everything was very neat and the produce section looked very fresh and neatly displayed. The beef section was more limited and I feel like the butcher would continually bring out a new product as people purchased some. That was what I was there to primarily buy. The rest of animal protein was displayed like other stores. The aisles were wide and neatly organized. They don't have as much selection as Walmart (food) or HyVee but it's a nice neighborhood store. I only saw the butcher, deli worker, shop cart attendant and a woman working the self serve area though. The parking lot is kind of a negative because it's shared with many other businesses in a strip mall so it's hectic.

I've had that problem at other Asian beauty supply stores. This review is strictly on what I witnessed today, I love how I can get through the Isles without stepping over things. I love how things are sitting up high so that I get a clear view of everything that they have to offer. And I was not followed around in the store, now that may have something to do with the security cameras I saw all over the store oh, but you have to look up to find them. But in other beauty supply stores I have been followed by other Asian store owners who act like they're restocking stuff when in actuality they're watching me. I didn't run into that this time. It felt good to freely walk the isles and check out the merchandise without someone making me feel like i was on an episode of cops. I even spoke to the old Asian lady behind the counter and told her that I was not from the area and more than likely would come back because where I live there is no beauty supply store. I also felt like I wasn't being watched as other reviewers have mentioned. Shop at home: 10/10 Star Beauty has a website where you can shop and have items sent to your home, which is nice. From what I could tell, the online inventory was pretty decent and beat getting out in the cold. They offer free shipping after spending $60. Overall: 8.75/10 The store had exactly what I needed. It is in a good location with great product inventory. Black women have other options like Bunny's in KCK or Olathe Beauty, but Star Beauty is my recommendation.

Other brands taste like vanilla ice cream with stale pecans mixed in. Yours has a distinct buttery flavor & texture, and the pecans are so fresh. I write as a very satisfied customer, as is Lisa. All flavors we've tried are top quality. You need not worry about competition from the dozen other places in the area. Yours is the absolute best. That along with outstanding customer service will level the competition. If you can find a way to get your cart out there and get more people to taste it, they'll show up at your store. Maybe clear your smaller garage bay and store it there on a trailer. Leave coupons for shut-ins like John Knox & other convalescent homes for Door Dash delivery. Also nail & hair salons since folks are already out, have waited forever and are now deserving of a treat. Just some thoughts you've likely already thought of.
