Update June 2021 I have been shopping at Walgreens for 10+ years. I typically have good experiences at this location on Roswell Road in Sandy Springs, but this last time was horrible. When I finished my shopping, there were 6 to 8 people in line with only 1 register open. The manager was actually counting the drawer for the other register right in front of all the customers. He called up an employee over the intercom and asked them to recount and verify the drawer. All of this was going on while the customers waited in line. It was one of the poorest examples of customer service I have ever seen at a Walgreens. I don't think I'll return to this store anytime soon. read more

The older lady working the counter needs to be fired. Very rude and worried about the wrong thing. Your job is to provide customer service. Anything outside of that is none of your business. Didn't greet customers and on her phone. Pitiful! read more

As a rule, I don't leave negative reviews. In fact, this is my first. But the experience I just had with this Walgreens' pharmacy team was simply unacceptable. I was inquiring about obtaining a replacement vaccination card. The young man helping me was patient and informative. However, one of the young ladies with whom he was working appeared miffed that he was taking my questions, raising her voice from behind him with an interjection that I didn't quite hear. Both he and I were distracted by this. Approximately 30 seconds into the interaction, she approached me, stepped in front of him, and said I would have to come back because they were closed for lunch, ending the conversation abruptly by pulling down a rolling steel security window. Before the window closed on me, I tried to ask what time to come back, but I did not hear an answer. When the window was closed, I saw the pharmacy's hours, but did not see any notice of lunch hours, though the individual who so abrasively interrupted my inquiry was behaving as if I should have known that 1:30 pm was lunch time. This was a truly bizarre experience and I'm sure it is not reflective of the entire staff at this store. It is not reflective of the young man who was trying to answer my question. Sort of speechless right now. Going to call another nearby Walgreens pharmacy and hope they aren't as hangry. read more

This Walgreens in pretty conveniently located on Roswell road right across from the Publix and USPS plaza. The store is pretty big and you can find most things here. The store seems to be always understaffed though. There isnobody to help and there is always a looooong line at the checkout counter as there is generally only one guy working it. It does have a photo center which is good too. read more

Came here on a Wednesday night to buy some batteries and there was a long line. Got to the front of the line and the cashier was helping everyone save on their purchases. She was helping people with coupons and discounts. You don't see that type of customer service any more. Nice! read more

I do not like this Walgreens at all. A guy that was working here (old and bald) came up to a woman wearing a dress and told her she needed to "cover up". What kind of employee judges a customer for what they wear? Not even 2 minutes later he came back from the back of the store and brought her a shirt to put on over her dress. This is 2021 woman should be able to wear whatever they want when they want. This guy needs to be disciplined for embarrassing a paying customer in front of others. He wasn't even attending that poor woman. It was another lady employee with gorgeous colorful hair. She was trying to be nice after that happened but I could tell that the customer was embarrassed but trying to play it off cool. THIS IS NOT OKAY WALGREENS DO BETTER. read more

I normally get my vitamins and cold/flu meds from Walgreens but I must say I was even more pleased with my last visit 1 mo. ago. My daughter needed a TB shot for her internship for her upcoming HS senior yr and the staff here was so very nice! Although we have insurance, her pediatrician isn't close and we didn't have time to make an appt. The prices are very reasonable as well. All ya gotta do is walk on in! This is a typical Walgreens. I tend to frequent this location since they have two exterior Redbox machines and usually have what i'm looking for when I reserve online. The associates are always courteous and store is always neat and in tact. My only gripe is that they don't always pay attention to expiration dates, especially when they don't have anymore in stock. read more

I came to get a prescription and a lip stain and was assisted by Ena who was AWESOME! Thx girl for a great experience!!!

Went to the quick care clinic about a skin condition concern the doctor wasn't very professional I didn't receive a receipt after paying cash payment and was told I needed a cream that was conveniently located over the counter.... I insisted that my skin was very irritated she never looked at my area of concern but googled my condition printed out the information on it which it was( ringworm) I told her I had been itching in the chest area for two weeks but wasn't given a oral antibiotic but instead recommended a topical foot cream. Which she made a perception for and I took to publix's to be embarrassed and told it's the foot cream in the isles and I didn't need a perception for it . Unfortunately it's been 5 days now and still haven't gotten better. Worst clinic experience ever. read more

This is definitely your typical Walgreens. Nothing stands out here......But you better make certain to watch the register as your order is being rang because the advertised price DOES NOT always match the price you pay...this has happened TWICE to me on 2 different occasions and I've witnessed it happen to another customer before as well. This is a horrible place . Store 6204. Barbara who is the nurse practitioner was the rudest, non educated person she denied seeing a patient in the waiting room and was told the person could be seen somewhere else all because of the patient saying they needed to have wi-fi at the store to print off his insurance card. I'm in the medical field myself and you don't and can't deny seeing a patient and being rude to them. I have seen a lot but I have not seen the level of disrespect she had towards this patient. I hope that she gets suspended. read more

Typical pharmacy with one exception this location has a "mini clinic" that has fees starting at $29.00 for a school physical for kids & exams starting at $89.99 for adults. After checking in with a N.P. we spoke for a few minutes looking concerned as she listened to this horrible wheezing after each breath & then informed me that ex-rays were needed before anyone would touch me. She then called another clinic nearby who could perform the services needed so that money wouldn't have to be spent twice very cool the honesty is much appreciated. Thank you Mrs. V. read more

Love Walgreens. They have a nice assortment of makeup, lotions, cleansers. I've bought a wide variety of stuff here from makeup to pens to healthcare supplies and batteries. The store is reasonably clean. Prices are typical drugstore range. I found Costco is cheaper than Walgreens almost always when it comes to Prescriptions, so I moved my Prescriptions to Costco. Walgreens was much more convenient for prescriptions, though. Recommended for quick runs for munchies. They're open til midnight most days. read more

I have a walgreen card so I do save a pretty penny when it comes to getting my allergy medicine but this location is not 24 hours that's only downfall other than that I have nothing negative to say. I went to the Take Care clinic after two weeks of having a bad cold (sore throat, coughing). The "doctor" that saw me refused to write any type of prescription. For $75, I was told to take tylenol and use nasal spray. It was obvious that the "doctor" had just recently graduated. My wife (an experienced hospital nurse of 20 years) said that the doctor was completely wrong. Now... two weeks later with no improvement... I am headed to see a REAL doctor. I'll never step foot in Walgreens again. read more

i went to the take care clinic here and they were amazing. they are really great if you dont have health insurance or if you dont have a physician. im in college and my visit wasnt expensive... the nurse gave me a contact number to reach her by and i called to follow up the next day... she remembered me and asked if i was doing okay... she was really wonderful! i feel wonderful and i will definitely go back. it was inexpensive, great customer service, and i feel better! :) :) read more

Amazingly, I usually go by this drug store for everything except prescriptions, LOL. I had a bad experience with Walgreen's once when getting a prescription filled but that hasn't stopped me from going there for other things. I was just in there the other night when a family member needed some (non-prescription) medicine late at night. I have had some pictures developed here also, I like having that service close because there isn't a Wal-Mart until the Perimeter Mall area and depending on the traffic and time of day that can sometimes be more trouble than it's worth. I also like the staff in Walgreen's, they are always very friendly and someone usually says hello to me when I walk in this store, call me old-fashioned, but I like that. I also like how their parking lot is setup...we've all been to stores where it is hell getting back onto the road but this one isn't too bad. Walgreen's is a good company in my opinion and it shows when you walk into one of their stores. read more

The pharmacy staff at this Walgreen's location constantly make mistakes. My experience today was typical. I received an email and phone notification last Friday that a particular prescriptionwas ready for pick up and I got there and they said the prescription had been "refused." They couldn't explain why they had sent me the notice that it was ready for pick up. Then they turned around and filled it, so it must have been a mistake on their part. I also called this morning and asked if I coud pick up a prescription at noon and the pharmacist said "yes." Well at 12:30 pm he said it wasn't ready, after I had driven there. I'm going to switch to another Walgreen's location. My experience with the pharmacy staff at other Walgreen's locations has been satisfactory. read more

Just arrived at 6:15 with a sick child. Clinic is advertised to close at 7 on but I was told they would not see me as they had one more patient and then the nurse had phone calls to return. Seriously bad service. read more

Pharmacy--- They lied to me! My dr switched my medication from synthroid to armour. When I put the prescription in- I was told "we don't have this in stock- and it's a back order from the manufacturer. Has been for about 9 months. - would you like the generic replacement -it's the same thing just cheaper-(I know that the generic replacement was synthroid- and knowing that it doesn't do the same thing as armory does-- and synthroid on my insurance is .63 cents armour is 87 cents) asked what's the generic replacement- I was told synthroid. I said- it's not the same!- called the CVS a few blocks down and asked if they had armour- was told yes. I told them Walgreens said it was in backorder from the manufacturer- -and asked when they received their supply ... CVS said it's not on back order- that Walgreens probably just doesn't want to order it or carry it. So-- Walgreens lies to me- by saying it was on backorder- and also that the generic was the same thing- which I assure you --- it's not! Now if they will tell a lie like these- how do you trust them with other questions?? read more

I shop at this Walgreen's once a week and I am very pleased with the service I receive. Lon who works at the checkout is wonderful ! She is always so happy and friendly and she makes customers feel welcome and appreciated. Lon is a very hard worker and is totally dedicated to her job and her customers.
