But some of my drugs require prior authorization and I'm actually not sure this crew understands what the process is and what their role is. Over the past two weeks I talked to them plenty of times. I only got more confused. They never gave the same convuluted answer twice. And each time they became increasingly annoyed with me. When they had been especially snotty and as unhelpful as usual, I asked them to wipe all my prescriptions. I moved. Interestingly enough, I had ALL my prescriptions in hand the second day I signed up for the new pharmacy. And they called me a few times to make sure I understood the arcane process that is prior authorization. Don't go here unless you don't need much more than aspirin.

I reported concerns that he was acting more like a salesman than a pharmacist with vaccines given my awareness of health informatics; and so I shared that information with another paraprofessional at the pharmacist who didn't seem willing to consider the documents about ethical pharmaceutical dispensation that I provided from the national institute of health and PUBMED library databases.

I needn't mention her name since I'm certain the other extremely amiable and courteous staff at this CVS are more than aware of her toxic attitude. This is a small CVS with cramped aisles but is full of the necessities…read more They are keeping mid-morning COVID senior hours, which is great. They have plastic protectors at the registers to keep the employees safe and at the self-check outs to keep shoppers safe. This is a great place to stop if you are in need of something fast, but I'd hesitate to stop here for a full grocery run. Their stock is often low and I've certainly run into issues (like the time I bought sour cream and when I got home, I took off the lid and realized someone had opened it, put their finger in, and then put the lid back down. Cooooooool). But it's useful in a pinch or for a pharmacy.

I have never met such unprofessional people as the ones that work in that pharmacy. They will make comments about your med regimen and try to not fill your meds if they don't like you. They have caused me nothing but pain and hardship trying to fill basic medications. If you're on a controlled med they label you an addict and refuse to fill your scripts until AFTER you run out. They do not care about you or your life. They care about their money.

I waited around 15 minutes in line before it was my turn to pick up my medication. Then when it was my turn I waited almost a half hour because they couldn't find my prescriptions. They said they misplaced them!!! I was quite upset because in their profession, misplacing medication is a big no no. So I left with no prescriptions. The medication was very important! It has to do with my depression, anxiety and insomnia!! So here I am this morning with no medication for my depression and anxiety. I would like to see this not happen again. I got no phone call to let me know if they found them or not!!

The CVS Pharmacy on Riverdale has been consistently awful to deal with. Every time I have a…read moreprescription sent there, whether for myself or my two year old son, something goes wrong. They never communicate when there's an issue with insurance, the provider, or if a medication is out of stock. They don't call, they don't follow up with doctors' offices, and they absolutely do not call patients, even though they claim they do. I've had to go in person multiple times just to get updates, only to be given a different excuse each time. The latest example: my OB-GYN sent in a prenatal prescription back in October. It sat unfilled for weeks. I went in several times, and no one could give me a clear answer. Then, mysteriously, as soon as the pharmacist finally called the doctor today, it went through instantly. When the pharmacist called to ask if I still wanted it, she couldn't hang up on me fast enough once I said yes and asked why it took weeks to resolve something so simple. This location is disorganized, uncommunicative, and unreliable. If you value your time or your health, I strongly suggest using a different pharmacy.
