I've had a frustrating experience calling this Walgreens pharmacy. Instead of answering the phone professionally by identifying the pharmacy, the call is answered with just "Wa..." before the employee disconnects the call. This has happened more than once and makes it very difficult to reach the pharmacy when I have questions or need assistance. A simple, courteous greeting and taking the time to help customers would make a big difference. I hope management addresses this issue and improves the level of customer service. read more

I would give it zero stars but not an option. They always have an excuse why they cannot do something. From we didn't get the script, don't have any in stock (even though a refill), too busy to look right now, wrong number of pills, phone not working, you name it. If you are not on high blood pressure medication you will be if you deal with this store. read more

Never answer phone. On hold over 25 minute when I call all you get when it rings again is a hold please and immediately on hold again. Tried to refill a necessary prescription automated system said there was and issue and connected me to pharmacy. Went in person they said I was out of refills. Said they would fax doctor for refills a week later I called again no answer. Went in person spoke with pharmacist. Said she would call the doctor. Received call saying it was denied days later. Called the doctor myself they said they would call Walgreens themselves as I had three refills. A week later I called the pharmacy long hold again. Transferred prescription to another pharmacy and they took care of it the same day. Was about a month without a very necessary prescription . read more

After placing an online order at 9:41am, I waited for my confirmation email to pick up my order. The email never came. I looked up the status of my order through the email and it said it was ready for pick up. I arrive at the drive thru and am told I need to "check in" on the app. I search the app and there's literally nowhere to check in. The lady (and I use lady very loosely) at the drive thru can't and won't help me. I look up my order and now it says it's "shipped." The lady at the drive thru again says I need to check in. I said, WHERE? I'm at the store. I'm here now checking in WITH YOU. She says, you have to call the store and let them know... "that's how curbside works." I had to put my window up at this point because jail is not for me. I call the store and the lady at the front has an immediate attitude saying I need to drive around for curb side and not wait in the drive thru line because there will be other customers waiting and they will be mad. I said, I am a customer and I am mad. I asked her to check to see if my order was even ready but she said she couldn't because she had to get off the phone. This is the most incompetent group of employees I've ever encountered. read more

I set an appointment for my covid booster arrived 15mins early checked in and I'm the only person waiting a shot , yet here I am 30 mins after my scheduled appointment with no sign of me getting the shot . I used CVS prior and it was a breeze I only give Walgreens ago as it was close to my house and slots available to my schedule I would not recommend booking appointments for shots here unless you enjoy wasting your time . I would rated 0 but it won't let me. Pharmacist here is joke. They don't care about people. I rush to get my meds after getting the text at 5:50pm. I needed my meds but was going to get there at 6:01pm. Called the pharmacist to ask if she would wait 1 minute for me but informed me she couldn't and to just go refilled it at the college park 242 Walgreens since they are open 24/7. I ended up making it to the drive through at 6 but it was already close. This is the worst pharmacy experience I have ever had. I will never come back to this store ever again Even if it's the nearest store. Actually I'll take my business to CVS. Doesn't make a difference now in days. read more

They need to hire more people and make sure those people have customer service skills. A lot of them working in the pharmacy have such a bad attitude. Overall, their pharmacy is SEVERELY understaffed with RUDE employees who will keep you on hold for half an hour. They don't check the voicemails left for them by doctors/ physicians so your prescription will go unfulfilled due to their lack of attention. My final straw was today when they decided to keep pushing off filling my prescription saying they couldn't access their voicemail box, but when I showed up in person, they knew exactly who I was and my prescription was magically filled in 30 minutes. Only fill your prescriptions here if you want extra & unnecessary headaches added to your day! read more

Ordered photo book online and picked up in the store. Didn't realize it was just a cut and paste. For the cost, I thought there would at least be lighting adjustments or enhancements. All the photos are very dark and very blurry and they are not centered on the page. If you order, understand there probably won't be anyone doing any quality control. read more

I rated this business a 1 star because I could not submit my complaint without any stars or give a negative rating. If I could, the rating would be -5 stars (for not knowing the proper procedures for transferring prescriptions, not knowing that not everyone has the same medical cards, providing incorrect information and mistreating their customers and not contacting me as she stated they would when the prescriptionwas ready). I had to unexpectedly extend my stay in Texas and needed a refill for my diabetes medication.. I spoke to Latrea (sp?) in the pharmacy and she instructed me to have my pharmacy in California contact Walgreens to temporarily transfer my prescription and they would text me once the prescription was ready. That was incorrect, Walgreens was supposed to call my pharmacy so I contacted Walgreens gave them my info and the pharmacy info. After 6 hours Walgreens did not respond. I confirmed with my Pharmacy in California that they transferred the prescription as soon as they were contacted by Walgreens and my cost would be $18.32. After another 90 mins. I went to Walgreens to check on my prescription and was told that the transfer paperwork sat on the Pharmacist's desk all day so I waited another 20 mins. for Walgreens to flill my prescription. Latrea asked for my prescription card and I gave her the ONLY card I have ever used for my prescriptions (and had previously used at Walgreens) but she said it was not a pharmacy card (I was not aware of such card). She informed me that I was not covered in their area therefore I could not pay for/receive my prescription, which made no sense to me because I was going to pay for the prescription, I was not asking for free meds or even to pay my copay. Needless to say, we got into a heated argument and the heifer threatened to call the police on me. I threw the pills at the wall, and paid for my other OTC meds at the front regisyer and left. I called back to talk to the Pharmacist to ask why and they left me on hold until they closed. All of you incompetent Walgreens pharmacy employees on the evening shift at the Rayford location should receive additional training and should learn how to treat people without making petty threats. I will make an official complaint with the corporate office. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. This is the worse place to come for your prescription. They're always out of medication and the pharmacist is a complete idiot along with some of her workers. They question you because you moved your medicine to their pharmacy which was closer to where you moved to and tell you that it is not allowed. Aren't all Walgreens connected ? It's not like someone is going to want to drive an hour to get to medicine they can get 5 minutes away. Apparently they also don't know when they need to order new medicine as they're out of everything all the time. They must need new management in there as they don't know how to run their pharmacy at all. read more

The pharmacist Deborah is the worse. Skip her line of you can. I went back and forth with her for 55 minutes about my insurance. She confidently said I had none which to her surprise (shocker) I did. I received no apology. She has no sense of urgency and continued to mumble under her breath when I asked if she was able to locate my insurance. She should be fired! The store and staff itself are nice. The pharmacy on the other hand takes forever to fill prescriptions. It seems every time we come to pick up a prescription they say it's not ready to come back in 30 minutes. This is after waiting a minimum of two hours each time before going. CVS down the road has a much quicker pharmacy. read more

I am not happy with the Pharmacy. Nurse called in prescription for my grandson. I called 2hrs later to see if his prescription had been filled, they tell me they no longer accept his insurance so no it wasn't filled. Wow! A phone call would have been nice Making me aware of this. Here I was waiting to start him on his antibiotics. So now I had to find a new pharmacy and have them call Walgreens so Walgreens could fax over the prescription. Again, a phone call would have been nice as soon as you received the prescription!!! read more

Really pathetic service in the pharmacy here. Mrs G gets a prescription for her emergency asthma inhaler which we drop off at around 4:30. EMERGENCY inhaler folks. They say it will be ready in an hour. Went back 90 minutes or so later and discover that the pharmacy is closed - they had failed to mention it closed at 6. Nice folks!!! So we had to go to a 24 hour Walgreens a mile away (24 hours in Walgreens language means "open late" and NOT 24 hours. Then when Mrs G needed it in the middle of the night a few days later - it didn't work!! So much for QC in US Healthcare. Take it back to this Walgreens this afternoon and are told (without a single greeting from anyone in the store other than Donna stacking shelves) that we have to take it back to the Walgreens wheee we got it. You MUST be kidding me!!! Are they all individually owned? What if we had picked it up in California?!?! Walgreens sucks and US Healthcare is a misnomer - health care - really!!!!! read more

Has to be the worst pharmacy. Horrible customer service! I waited in the drive thru in the farthest lane and watched as three cars went through the other lane before being greeted. Then ignored again. Then they forgot to send my insurance card back so I had to drive around come inside (unbuckle my toddler) then wait so they could find it. Only then to discover once I got back in the car, that they had called my husband and said they didn't have the medication. Didn't bother telling me while I was there inside with my screaming 2 yr old! Making me go back through the drive thru one last time to retrieve it. Total of 25 minute experience to "drop off" a prescription! Save yourself time and headache and do NOT go here. read more

Sitting in the drive thru line, both lanes clogged up! Sitting here forever!!! They need to have people come in if they have that many issues that cannot be handled promptly! The people holding up the line were opening their doors at the window. One was evidently playing musical chairs! Then when we reached the the front of the line our order handled efficiently. i went in for a store pick up order and Candace at the photos was extremely condescending and rude from the moment i came in. Could barely get two words out to ask for my name and was very rigid. i didn't know how exactly to ask for my order right away because i said "im here to pick up an order" but then clarified it's a store pick up. She gave me a really judgy and condescending look while i was explaining and couldn't be bothered to help me figure out what the next step was in order to give me my order, just kind of gave me the "what do you want me to do about it" look. so then i said "not sure what you need from me" and interrupts as i'm trying to show her something from my email to ask for my name and as i'm saying it she rudely asks louder what my last name was. Anyway, whole thing was annoying to deal with. it's not hard to be nice especially working retail. Would not return to this location. i returned to get my ID(not sure why because the email said you don't need one if you show them the email confirmation...) and saw her handle another customer with much kindness.. extremely offputting. read more

I enjoy Walgreens very very much. The cashiers are very friendly. The only issue I have is with the pharmacy. The pharmacy techs are rude and act like they don't care about their jobs. They don't want to help customers when they have issues. I wanted to transfer my prescription to CVS and I gave them a call beforehand to see if they could transfer it. I was told to call this Walgreens and ask if they can send over the information. No big deal right? Called this Walgreens and I was told no I couldn't do that, I needed to talk to the CVS. I reassured the tech that I just got off the phone with them and they said to talk to them first. She asked for my information then said it was too early for me to request it. All I wanted was to transfer my prescription all together for future refills. She then said "oh I can do that" and hung up the phone in my face. I was nothing, but nice to her on the phone because I understand the job is not easy and it was close to closing time. But that doesn't mean be rude to a customer, ever. My mother always has issues with Walgreens pharmacies no matter the location. Love the store, just really dislike the pharmacy. read more

Your hours state you're open til 10 pm, yet at 9:45, you turned off the lights and locked the doors. While I sat in the parking lot figuring out what was still open, 3 more customers came and left. I doubt any of us were looking to shop for an extended period of time. Walgreens just lost another customer to HEB and probably 3 more to some other stores or Amazon. Regarding prescriptions, Walgreens can be vastly more expensive. For instance, one prescription of mine costs $100 at Walgreens. But costs $10 at Costco. Really. Walgreens charges ten times as much for certain prescriptions. I'll drive to Costco to save $90. One recent evening I went to pick up a prescription. It took approximately 25 minutes. There were two people in line ahead of me. There were easily four to five pharmacy technicians (that I could SEE) getting orders ready and servicing customers. A neighbor of mine was ahead of me in line. He wondered aloud what was the problem? After the long wait, he found his order inexplicably wasn't ready. Twenty to 25 minutes to get your prescription when there are only two people ahead of you in line - and they are fully staffed with employees, many of whom have worked there for some time. Wow. As for the rest of the store, there's the creepy, unfriendly short man who is...I don't know...maybe a shift leader. Or an assistant manager. He has a foreign accent and I don't know where he's from. Possibly Nigeria? Who knows? But his attitude isn't the best. HOWEVER, there are nice, helpful people that work there. For instance, there is a cashier named Delbert who is always cheerful and helpful. The women who work in the area where they sell cosmetics and that sort of thing are mostly very friendly and courteous, which I appreciate. The manager of the store - I think is name is Mr. Yap - is always helpful and has a very humble demeanor. If he passes you in the aisles, he asks if he can help you find something, for instance. You'll recognize him by the photo of him in the store. A very pleasant man. Overall, I give three stars because of the convenience factor and due to those employees who go out of their way to be helpful and who are overall good-natured human beings. read more
