​I am very disappointed with the service at this H-E-B pharmacy, specifically regarding an employee named Eric. I visited twice to transfer my prescriptions from another H-E-B location. Both times, Eric refused to initiate the transfer, insisting that I had to call the other store myself to have them send it over. ​I know this violates standard H-E-B pharmacy policy--the receiving store is supposed to request the transfer on the customer's behalf. I even double-checked with another pharmacy, who confirmed Eric was wrong. It is frustrating to deal with an employee who either doesn't know basic company policy or is simply too lazy to follow it. Management needs to address this immediately. read more

HEB-Conroe TX Davis St. It's getting close to Valentines and every year HEB will take advantage of its customers. They will triple the cost of chocolate strawberries; flowers and all gifts associated with Valentines. Residents talking about the high cost of things in our community That would include Home Depot and Lowes. Now your replacing brand names with HEB brands. HEB brands not even close to original brands for example bean dip for chips HEB brand absolute disgusting. Mouth wash HEB claims it's the same as the leading brand look compare our brand to the leading brand. HEB brand is watered down. I changed stores, Kroger it's safer don't have to worry about getting run over by your order puller. What happened to stocking products on the night shift? H-E-B is hands down the best grocery store in Texas. The produce is always fresh, the shelves are well stocked, and it's just a solid shopping experience every time. On this visit, I was with my mom and the electric cart she was using stopped in the middle of our shopping. We flagged down a manager named Sam, and without hesitation, he walked up front and brought her a new one. He--and every employee we ran into--was friendly, helpful, and just made the experience even better. I genuinely enjoy shopping here. read more

My wife and I always shop from HEB / West Davis Rd....The Deli department has the ( Ciabatta Slider Tray / $39.99) .. 24 pieces Mini rolls with smoked ham, turkey, and roast beef with cheese )...We always order the tray with Roast beef ( only) and they charge me the same price. Funny thing happened during a visit to MY HEB on Saturday May 28, 2024. I paid for 2 pounds 9 ounces of Crawfish, but when I got home it only weighed 2 pounds 1 ounce. I talked to the manager today who said he would he would give me the difference back and check the scale so in the future it would be correct. Right... I told him he could do better because I figured they most likely sold 500 pounds of Crawfish on Saturday 5/28/24 and screwed us all for almost $1,000 (Real price is $9.93/lb and not $7.94, difference of $1.99/lb when you pay for 1 and 1/4 pounds and only receive 1 pound). One star for a very good to great HEB? What?? Yes - one star for one reason: the seafood department. 3-4 months ago their icemaker broke. No ice in a seafood shop is a death knell. Did HEB mobilize the forces and move heaven and earth to fix or replace that critical machine? Not even close. Talking to the seafood manager and then the store manager, I was told that they're a "low priority" store and that it will be 6-7 MONTHS(!) before they get a new or fixed machine. WHAT?!? A multi-billion dollar company can't get an ice maker for one of the busiest departments in a very busy store. The decline in quality from this one department has been heartbreaking. The whole corner of the store often smells of bad fish - the kiss of death for a seafood shop. And a month ago we took back $25 of fresh haddock after it stunk up our whole kitchen when we opened the bag. Two months ago I called HEB's main customer service department in San Antonio. In retrospect I was totally snowed by the nicest "vice president in customer service". He was empathetic, sincere, and professed to be shocked that this had happened and "will certainly look into this - it shouldn't happen". Net impact of these very nice words: none. Several years ago, I really looked forward to shopping for salsa at HEB. There were dozens of small salsa brands on the shelf. In the last couple of years HEB started putting their own HEB salsa on the shelves and the small makers were shown the door. I came by the floral department and this amazing young lady named was kelsey helped me get everything I needed and put together and out the door within minutes. She understood the assignment when she was putting together my flowers. Did my usual shopping when I came to check out the cashier didn't even greet me. As she finished scanning my items I noticed she was talking on the phone giggling with ear buds in. She was so involved in talking on the phone that she didn't even tell me my total so as I put my card in it didn't go through she told me " you should've told me ". I love my H-E-B and will shop nowhere else. It's supply chain shortage time, but you always see staff stocking what they DO have. Cashiers are always quick and efficient. Prices are lower than anyplace in town. So, why the missing star? Because doing my shopping to a shrill "Maaaaaargaaaareeeeeeeta" by a sample server is not so very comfortable. Do NOT do HEB's survey after you get a Home Delivery unless everything was great and you can give 5 stars on EVERYTHING. If you don't give a good survey and are honest about your experience KYRA at the store at 2108 N Frazier ST Conroe, TX will stop you from being able to have your groceries delivered from that store. I am a Senior and have my groceries delivered but i submitted an honest review and KYRA did not like what I put on my survey so I can no longer get deliveries from this store. She said she spoke with her manager Brendon who also said I can no longer be delivered to. I had a $150 order and did survey on some 92 cent tomatoes. So if you don't want your Deliveries Stopped DON'T DO THE SURVEY THEY SEND TO YOU. read more

3.5 stars...... The store is clean but I'm tired of them not having different common vegetables in three times. They usually run the $5.99 whole lobster special in season but they seem to get smaller lobsters compared to other HEB's I've been too. I've had to return chopped veal and hamburger because the packages were bloated and the person behind the meat counter guaranteed me that the new packaging did that. Unfortunately new packaging was spoiling the meat instead and the bloated packages were bad. Very irritating having an untrained person in the priciest section of the store. The frozen foods seem pricier than the Six Pines or Sawdust store. The tortilleria has been out of white flour tortillas in the evening several times. I have never found these problems at the Six Pines store. Just seems like this HEB could run more efficiently. It's ok but I really can't say I'm a fan at this time. So let's start off with 4 of 5 stars for this HEB! First, they opened pretty quick. Second, it's a really big store inside. Third, it also has gas. Fourth, it actually has fresh foods, like a huge selection of fruits, vegetables, fish, meats, etc. This store has completely out-classed and out ranked the Kroger(s) completely or really any of the other stores in Conroe, including the other little HEB. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm sure there will be issues with the store eventually, but for now, with their overloaded staff and everything new, it's top notch. In reality, though, the bar is very low. If they can just keep their shelves stocked, they win, lol! But either way, right now, huge store, good locations and a huge variety. read more

The Good - Managed well and the staff area always helpful and friendly. It's less than 10 miles away from my house on Lake Conroe. YAY! Finally, I don't have to drive to FM 1488. The other one in Conroe is ghetto and AWFUL! Last time I was in there I ran out so fast. You should really consider revamping it, as it poorly represents the HEB brand. Is it a demographic thing? Hmmm The Bad - Is it just me or has the price of everything gone up? Seems like I can't get out of there for under $350 dollars almost every time and I don't have 4 kids or buy wine every time. Honestly, I really do want to love you, but until you do a better job of stocking things that you can find at the one in the Market Street then you will remain a 3 star. Almost every time I go in you are out or don't carry any of the things that I need. Things like Vanilla So Delicious creamer and not having Alexia frozen rolls, or brown rice tortillas. Not to mention your options are very limited in international foods. Last time, I had to run across to the old Kroger to finish buying my shopping list that included all kinds of yummy Indian sauces that you don't seem to carry and where did the salmon on planks go? I loved every one of those flavors and all of sudden they were gone for good. :-( My husband and I would have those twice a week for dinner or lunch and now there isn't even a decent replacement option.That's aggravating when it's something you really enjoy. I loved your fresh squeezed OJ and your Guac for a while and then I had a string of bad batches and that was it. Seems like a quality control issue with such staple items. Also your sweet potatoes are way too dry and don't ever taste or look fresh. I guess I need to check out one of the weekend green markets for more locally sourced produce. Anyway, despite your issues I am still glad your here, but wish you were more reliable and less expensive. I don't eat a lot of junk processed foods so your sales on those items don't help. :-( read more

There's not too many negative things you can say about H-E-B grocery store. They have lots of fresh items to choose from, their seafood is spectacular, their meat selection is very good, although I am disappointed but started going up with their grass fed beef. The vegetable seem to be hit and miss most of the time, and I wish they had more organic choices. I love their fresh Lee made avocado and salsa. Their pastry/bakery department is also very good. If you've never had a cake with their "elite icing", it is really worth trying, and I'm not even a cake person. There are some things they don't carry from time to time, like Dr Pepper made with real sugar, although I did see some tonight, so plus points there H-E-B! They also always offer lots of coupons on foods, as well as by this get this free, or by this and get all these free. Very good prices, very good deals. read more

Great customer service! Phenomenal presentation of each area in the store, overall very clean and crisp! I went in to find the things for a new recipe, when I couldnt find certain items, an employee named Deonte really helped me out! I left very satisfied and it didnt take hardly any time at all. The only place that I have been able to find that has a wider selection of fresh foods is whole foods market in The Woodlands, but their prices are much higher, and it is a good drive from conroe. I was accosted at this store by management for trying to buy 8 single hamburger patties. 8 patties..... not 8lbs of meat or anything large or hoarding levels, enough food to feed my family for a single meal that was visiting. 1 meal. I understand limits and people being ridiculous about purchases. But they only sell Prime Burgers at this store in 2 pack and yet they have a 2 limit on hamburger so they only allowed me and my sister, who both could purchase the one limit on brisket. but wouldn't allow us both to purchase hamburger patties. These single patties should not be part of the limit. I will never shop at any other HEB, they obviously don't understand logic and treat people terribly. read more

This HEB is ok, better than most but not as good as the Kingwood or Woodlands location. It's really difficult to beat those locations. This one has a comprehensive inventory, and like always the employees are more than helpful. read more
