Super customer service from Linda, our cashier. We had to grab a few things to have at our AirBnb while we were visiting for the weekend. Clean store, well stocked, appeared to be a little understaffed. There were 'hiring' signs displayed prominently throughout the store. if you have to wait a few extra minutes don't hold that against the few employees that are trying to keep it together at the store. My Doctor phoned in a prescription early this morning. No record of it. The young man was so rude that we asked to speak to the pharmacist. Well.... That never happened. We waited and waited.... Walgreens customer service is terrible... They put u on hold forever, use vulgar language, like the f word, while on the phone.. now they billed my insurance company for a 45 day supply of 1 of my meds, have me a 15 day supply. Told me past 2 days they'd be calling me back....no one called back...2x from me yesterday, with a promise of a call back... Today, same thing! Not a satisfied customer. I signed up on line for 2 vaccinations and given a 315 appt. I came in at 310, filled out the paper work and had a seat. I waited 45 minutes and another customer that had a 345 appt was called in ahead of me for vaccinations. I asked the pharmacist why and he said he was the only one there, not really the explanation for what occurred. I asked the pharmacy tech and she didn't say anything. If you could give a zero star rating to a pharmacy I would. I scheduled my vaccination appointment for 4:00 pm two days in advance. When I showed up I arrived 5 minutes early with all my paperwork completed and was told to sit down and wait until I was called to get my vaccine. Its been 40 minutes and I still haven't gotten my vaccine. I went up to the counter and it seems as if almost no progress has been made and it's infuriating to be treated with little respect to your time. Worst experience I've ever had with a group of employee. read more

This is your average chain store pharmacy. It has all the same stuff any other one has. The thing that make one chain store different from another is the people who work there. I came here to use the photo shop service to have a passport photo taken. The attendant was busy with another customer. What bothered me was I stood there for 10 minutes and wasn't acknowledged. He saw me and at least one other customer standing in line. I think the least he could have done is said, "I'll be with you in a minute". After the photo was taken, the photo attendant said it would take about 15 minutes before it was ready. I had other business in town and told him I would return in a bit. I arrived 45 minutes later to find an empty counter. I stood and waited for someone to show up. In that time 2 other store employees walked by and never acknowledged me standing there. I finally asked the cashier up front to page someone for the photo shop. A person came and I got my photo. Customer service is important to me. It influences my rating at least 50% as I'm sure it does many of you reading this. What could have been a 4 star rating turned into a 2 star rating because of the poor customer service by few people. It won't prevent me from returning, but it will influence my choice of how often. read more

UPDATED....turns out they didn't put the same drug in both bottles, but they did give me 2 completely different meds that were the exact same size, shape and color. The only difference was the number etched on the sides (which I couldn't even see with my old lady eyes until they pointed it out when I took them back). They never said to me "hey...are you familiar with these? They look alike, so don't mix them up". I've been taking both these meds for many years, and I have NEVER received them looking the same. Of course, the pharmacy tech just shrugged her shoulders at me and said "oh well, that's what we got in" in a rather condescending and bitchy manner. They also had no idea what I was asking for when I told them I needed test solution for my glucose meter. Such a basic item. Still going back to CVS read more

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. Rarely is any medication ready in a prompt manner. The last straw was when the pharmacist had the audacity to tell my daughter's physician that her rx simply could not be changed to a different dose, because they suspected us of trying to get a deal on the price. What?! That is not your place, Walgreens. We switched to Aurora the same day. I will never set foot in that place again, and I will tell everyone I know how shady Walgreens is. read more

I somehow doubt that the urgent care doctor actually called in a prescription for OTC children's cough syrup for me (a large middle-aged woman). But that's what they gave me, and the pharmacist clearly had very few effs to give, so I took it. Check your meds if you go here. read more

I was only given a partial prescription without being informed, and will run out of the meds before I will be back in Sturgeon Bay. Both the pharmacy tech and pharmacist said they cannot mail the partial prescription, despite acknowledging their error, or could mail it to me if I stopped at a different Walgreens, put my credit card on file, and then charge me for postage as well. I then asked if the prescription could be filled by a nearby Walgreens, and was told it wouldn't likely be at the partial refill price, but at full price and get the full prescription. I said I'd go without until I get back to Sturgeon Bay. Not customer friendly when it was their error :( read more
