Walgreens pharmacy is very helpful and very nice people. They are busy but they are very kind.

Slowest pharmacy I have ever been to. I have always chosen Walgreens but after the last few trips I have decided to go to CVS from now on.

By far the slowest pharmacy I've ever experienced, there will be one person infront of you in line and you will still wait 30 minutes I have no clue why they are so slow but no matter what time of day you go you will be waiting so long. read more

waited on phone line for 25 minutes the 1st time only to find that they did not have RX yet....it was 2 hours since doctor called it in. I had to ask the staff member to take my phone number {she never asked me for it because she was so busy she did not want to deal with it}, birthdate and insurance info so I could use the automated system when I called back. I waited 4 hours and called back....after waiting on phone for 15 min, the automated system said too many callers, call back. 3rd time, waited 10 min, someone came on for 2-3 seconds and put me on hold, then phone rang 30 times and someone finally answered. My husband finally went to pick med up and it was the WRONG med!!! I called back and the male staff was extremely rude. I had my doc send RX to another pharmacy. Now I am without a much needed med for over 24 Hours. read more

Walgreens has been the preferred drugstore of my family for many years and this store is the one we usually visit. That customer history is the only reason I chose 2 stars instead of 1 for this review after the incident that occurred the morning of July 9. That morning my wife went to the Travelers Rest store to buy a newspaper for her elderly father. The paper happened to have a picture of President Biden on the front page, and when my wife laid it on the counter, the cashier slapped the picture loudly and exclaimed "I just had to get that out of my system." My wife replied that she had only come in to buy a paper, and did not want to hear a political rant, especially one alluding to violence toward the President. When the cashier persisted, my wife told her that she was behaving inappropriately, and if the did not stop a conversation with her manager would be necessary. She proceeded to laugh in my wife's face and told her to go ahead and tell the manager, that he wouldn't care. Upon returning home, my wife called the customer service number to file a complaint. The customer service representative told her that she would be passing the complaint down to the local store and that my wife could expect a call from the manager. A week has now passed, and we have received no calls, emails, or other communication from any representative of Walgreens. We understand that employee conduct cannot be policed around the clock, and that given the current labor shortage it is not always possible to place the best people in the right jobs. However, when management is alerted to a problem of this nature and makes no effort whatsoever to follow up on it, that is inexcusable and indicative of a lax culture that does not value professionalism or common courtesy. When a company does not teach or enforce basic respect toward its customers, it is likely to be negligent in other aspects of its business that are more likely to impact the health and safety of customers and employees. My work requires me to interact with the public on a daily basis. I encounter people with a wide variety of backgrounds with an equally wide variety of personal and political beliefs. Therefore, I leave my own opinions and beliefs at home. This is both a good business practice and a common courtesy. It is painfully obvious that Walgreens does not share this value with me, and as a result they no longer have my business. read more

Abysmal pharmacy service; I understand that they are under staffed for the growth they have experienced. But the service is so Slow. If you call, no one picks up. Meds for my daughter weren't on hand so they ordered them. They got them a week later. No thanks. Notably the pharmacy I transferred to told me they were on hold for 2 hours to get our prescriptions changed. read more

I chose them for their Pharmacy price via GoodRX. They weren't the cheapest, but since they were closer to my house, paying $4 more was worth it to me. My first attempt to get my prescription, the pharmacy was closed. I checked store hours beforehand, but pharmacy hours are different and weren't posted on the Apple Maps listing. Second attempt I waited for 25+ mins in drive-thru line, then they didn't honor the GoodRX price. Next time, I'll pick a different store to fill my prescription. The wasted 1st round trip, 30 min 2nd trip, and $8 difference wasn't worth it. read more

I switched to Walgreens away from CVS because the customer service experience seems better. Also, they take Apple Pay which makes checkout quick and easy. They also occasionally have sales on Coke products when the grocery stores don't, so that's a plus. read more

This pharmacy has problems with submitting prescriptions to insurance on a consistent basis. Many rejected and need to resubmitted creating longer waits. My guess is they make many typing errors when submitting to insurance. The pharmacy does not contact the physicians office for clarification nor do they contact the customer about the problem/rejection creating unexplainable delays. If the patient does not follow up the issues is never resolved. The pharmacy staff is polite but most likely understaffed. It is very busy pharmacy. I seldom purchase anything from the store. The selection is limited and they are often out of items. Less frustrating too just go to Target. read more

This Walgreens Pharmacy in TR needs a major operations overall. I'm sitting in line at the drive through and car in front of me is there for 20 minutes. They were helped but some issue occurred. Can you figure out how to get help at this Walgreens? The line is so backed up because of one car. Where is manager? This is not the first time. Frustrating. read more

Call, request online or auto refill it will not matter, your prescription will likely be "out of stock". Wait for them to solve the issue and you get to do without your Heart Medications for 1 to 2 weeks. Appear in person after being told it is unavailable and the attendent will know absolutley nothing about it. Your "Auto Refill" will have strangely disappeared and changed to "Not on our end it isn't". Demand to speak with the Pharmacist, wait until they deem ready to acknowledge you and the medication will have miraculously arrived just that day but only enough to fill 30 of your 90 days. Of course the remaining 60 require another refill request so forget that 12 month perscription. But wait, there's more!! Be prepared to receive friendly advice to call a week ahead of when you will be needing the medicine so they can order your "Auto refill". 5 times in a row now and all the "second chances" are used up. My continued life is too important to be trusted to the caliber of this Pharmacy. read more

Yesterday morning I came by to have my passport photos done. David was incredibly helpful and personable and was professional and gracious in balancing front end customers with the photo department. A few staff members at the pharmacy are kind and helpful like pharmacist and pharmacist manager, others are just blatantly rude and inefficient. Plan to wait 20-30 min while picking up prescriptions through the car window and 30-45 min inside the store. There was a rude lady (Patrice is her name) that kept deleting my prescriptions from the system after getting notified that they were ready and ignoring me if I was next in line and she was attending. After complaining about this several times, she was gone. Thank goodness! She was the most horrible person I have ever met in my life. read more

This is my go to store . It's a well organized and clean store and with a little planning you can save a great deal of money. Check the Sunday paper for clip and save coupons. read more

Their drive-thru is the slowest in TR. They have been this way for the past 2 years without adding pharmacy staff to handle the increased traffic. Unfortunately my health insurance requires that I go to Walgreens...otherwise I would go to CVS! read more

My insurance requires i go to Walgreens in T.R. for prescriptions. That's the only reason i go there. The service is the worst of any business i have ever been to. Plan on 30 minutes waiting. Not nearly enough employees. Many times one person has to work the counter, the drive up window, and answer the phone. I've had to use them for a year and a half now, and its the same as the first time i went there. Walgreens does not appear to care about this pitiful service. read more

The pharmacy needs more consistency. I have had more negative experiences than positive. Long wait times and unhelpful associates.

Nice clean store and friendly people, but the drive thru just took 20 min to serve the person before me. That's unacceptable.

Went to have prescription filled and doctor said to tell them NOT to substitute a generic because I had severe pain. I told them, and they STILL substituted a generic that just didnt do the job. The pharmacist said its because of medicaid insurance I had wouldnt cover it. After having to go to the ER that night, I had to correct prescription written and Walmart had it done just fine. I returned to tell them how unhappy I was and he said "good, go there next time." I would not recommend them because they lied to me about what my insurance would cover. All medicaid patients are not idiots and should not be treated differently. read more
