I really appreciate the male pharmacist here at Walgreens. He is the only reason I stay at this pharmacy. He is helpful and knowledgable. I appreciate that he also understands insurance. If he is not filling my rx then they usually are not filed correctly. The pharmacy aides are hit and miss here. Some are really nice and some look so miserable that you can tell that they hate working here. You have to kinda roll the dice when you go here. Sometimes great service and sometimes I will be the one banging my head on the counter in frustration. read more

The front cashiers are always nice. The store is well stocked. The pharmacy is terrible. It is ALWAYS under staffed. It doesn't matter if you go inside or the drive through. Save yourself the aggravation.This location is horrible. The customer service is horrible and forget about calling in. They don't pick up the phone they continue to place you on hold and not even ask you to hold. Until you give up and hang up. I was on the phone for 51 minutes before I came here to pick up my prescriptions to take them to CVS because they were still not ready from the day before. My daughter had an ear infection. They looked at me like they didn't care, and I was aggravating them. They forgot that I was the customer and they're providing the service. I was treated horribly and I would never do business with Walgreens again. My daughter was in so much pain for two days I needed penicillin for her ear. The lady could not move pass the fact that I complain about no one picking up the phone and asked me to sit and wait in retaliation This was unbelievable I could not believe this was happening to me. Please check to see who was working there 1/20/2024 from from 10am to 11:30pm is when I was trying to call. Then I came in 1/20/24 from 12pm to about 1pm. While my daughter sat there crying from an ear infection. I cannot believe you people did this to me I never been treated like this. Star rating is a zero. I needed to ask the pharmacist a simple question as to whether or not I had received a certain vaccine. He was three feet from me typing on his monitor. NEVER acknowledged me. Would have been nice if he said, 'I'll be right with you.' I waited 20 minutes while he typed away, he did have time to answer one of the employees quiry, so what he was typing wasn't life threatening. After 20 minutes I finally left. Worst location. Showed up at 9pm expecting the pharmacy to be open until 10(specifically had a prescription sent there for that reason because I urgently needed it). They already closed but were behind the glass working. I was able to get their attention, and the lady gave me a rude look like I was disturbing them. I simply asked if the drive-through was still open and she told me they were closing early, without providing any reason whatsoever(not a holiday). Last time I ever use this pharmacy. Go somewhere else where the staff are pleasant and actually care about their patients. read more

Not impressed with recent staff - I've been coming here for years and unfortunately, the new manager (or one of the managers)is rude and lacks in customer service skills. Came in with a return and I was treated like I was a nuisance and the manager was brusque and almost rude. Giving two stars as store is always clean and neat and very organized. I made an appointment for a vaccination. However, when I arrived, no one would help me and they made me stand in a long line with other people that were there for other reasons. I just wanted to request the form to fill out while I was waiting, but they couldn't be bothered with that either. Not sure what the purpose of an appointment is if they won't honor your time and assist you. Staff is rude as well. read more

I actually have my rx's filled at Village Pharmacy in Wake Forest but I often use Walgreens as an option to either have some photos printed or some kind of a small item to pick-up on the way home. This Walgreens is decent. Nothing special. They have great deals on photos, which is why if I need something printed quickly, I usually send it online and pick them up here. They usually have good specials on certain items, but you can almost be certain it is not when you need it. The staff are stand-offish. I often have to find the staff member in the store to check out as they are usually stocking items, and/or in an different area. Not that they are not working, they just do not keep an eye out on the customer. I wouldn't stay away from this location, I just wouldn't make it a favorite place to shop. read more

They LOST my prescription for a medication I need to take after my surgery. Said my husband came to pick it up and get it filled elsewhere but he didn't. Now I can't get a new prescription filled because my insurance says it's already been filled. I have surgery in 4 days and this is not what I needed. I will be speaking with corporate and whomever you report HIPPA violations to. It was a controlled substance so they should have asked for ID. read more

I always have a good experience when I go to Walgreens. They have the typical drug ayore items and some other unusual items. I appreciate they are one of the few stores that always has sugarfree cough drops in a variety of flavors! read more

All people have been talking about lately is Corona Virus this and COVID-19 that. Mother Teresa And All That Is Holy Give Me A Break. Can millennials come up with a new trend already?? Ugh I've had enough ):( !!! Anyway. My grandma wanted me to run to Walgreens and get her some Tylenol because apparently Advil makes the Corona worse... so I get to Walgreens and as I'm making my way to the Tylenol aisle I pass by the hand sanitizer aisle and it is completely cleared out!! UNBELiEVABLE!!! I've heard from reliable sources that hand sanitizer only kills 99.9% of all germs and guess what that 0.1% is.... CORONA VIRUS!!! So it's useless anyway! and people are buying it like it's oxygen or something. LOL I'm just kidding. That's not true about The Corona being the 0.1% that's a joke that I just made up a couple minutes ago as I was walking up to the mailbox. I'm not a scientist or a germologist or anything but I'm pretty sure that the hand sanitizer would actually kill 99.9% of The Corona Virus. Luckily I already have some hand sanitizer. I got it from Bath and Body Works about 5 years ago. It's a travel size and the scent is called Moonlight in Paris and I use it every once in a while so that's what's in between me and the virus. I always have a wonderful experience here, I've been using this pharmacy for years and they have been nothing but polite and professional. There's a young lady that works in the pharmacy, Tina, Who is absolutely amazing, she answered all of my questions and helped me with my medications and was very knowledgeable. She went out of her way to come help me find the correct cold medicine that I could safely use because of certain allergies I have. Thank you guys!! read more

If I could give them a 0 I would have. This pharmacy is horrible. I dropped of 3 paper prescriptions this afternoon and was told I could pick them up after 4:30. Waited till 5:30 went back and was told I couldn't pick up my prescriptions because they were dated for 16th ( today is 14th). I said no I dropped 3 off earlier today and was told they would be ready after 4:30. Girl got an attitude and went to go look. She came back and told me they just got them and they weren't ready. I said no I dropped them off 3 hours ago and I was told I could pick them up after 4:30. She said Well we are behind and they won't be ready till later. So I finally got the email that my prescriptions were ready. Drove all the way over there picked up 4 got home only to find out that 3 of the 4 were my auto refills and the prescriptions that I currently need. Called the pharmacy and was hung up on twice. Save yourself some grief and go elsewhere. This one is HORRIBLE!!!!!! read more

I have tried for 5 days to pick up my prescriptions but everytime I go in there are at least 5 or 6 people in the drive thru or in line inside! In the middle of day they'll be 3 techs working behind the counter but during the peek hours there is one tech & the pharmacist!! Why????? Our experience has been positive with this location. We changed from another pharmacy because our old one would be out of stock, often, for our prescriptions. We have drug allergies in our family and the pharmacy team is diligent in cross checking for us. Any questions have been answered quickly and fully. We did have one rx filled where we received 180 pills when the rx was for 30. I called to alert them, and they said they use a robotic counter that must've mis-counted. Just always check your rx no matter where you get it filled to make sure the dosage and med are correct. We've had to wait in the drive thru and inside, but we've also come when there was no wait. The drive thru is a very nice convenience as is the app to refill your rx and know price before you pick up. read more

I've been using this pharmacy for years. I'm not sure why. There is always a ridiculous wait at the drive thru and then you get to the window and the techs are miserable. I can honestly say that I've only gone there a handful of times where I didn't wait at all. I waited 30 minutes today and not even an apology. 2 customers backed out and left while in line and had I been able to do so I would have as well. I'm changing pharmacies. Just ridiculously poor customer service! read more

Like others have said this pharmacy usually comes with long waits and less than helpful pharmacy assistants. I have not had experience with the pharmacists and our prescriptions have always been filled correctly, which is obviously the most important thing, but its a very frustrating experience more often than not. This past month my wife tried to refill her prescription and was told it was expired and they would call the doctor to get it sent over. Several hours later she called back to see if they were able to get ahold of the doctor and was told they did but the doctor would not re-write the prescription. My wife then called the doctor who said they were not contacted by the pharmacy but they would send it right over. My wife then got her text message that the prescription was ready almost 24 hours later. We don't use the pharmacy much so we will continue to use this Walgreens, but others may want to find a different pharmacy. read more
