5 stars for the sales floor team! The service is great and I always find what I need. However, the men's room is in rough shape. The sink has needed a deep clean for a long time. The main issue is the paper towel dispenser. It's broken, so you have to use your wet, just-washed hands to manually roll out the towels. To make it worse, the roll sits right above the open, broken trash can door. It is a bit of a hygiene issue. You guys run a great store, so I'd love to see the restroom match that same high standard. read more

I've never experienced more useless employees in my life. To think these pharmacy workers went to school is abysmal. Every time I schedule a vaccine, I have to wait 30 minutes for a hour?! I received a robocall from the pharmacy, which ran out of my not-uncommon prescription, I was advised to call the store to find an alternative for a drug that I ORDERED TWO DAYS AGO AND I NEED TODAY. I tried yesterday and had someone hang up the phone without responding, after I was on hold for 14 minutes. The same thing happened today after I was on hold for 20 minutes. Could a pharmacy not understand the importance of taking a drug on time? I understand they are busy, but making a habit of hanging up on callers is WRONG. read more

The customer service in here is terrible. Marie who was in a cranky mood that helped me was not pleasant at all and kept telling me my order was not in the store. When I had told her that my order was paid and I was already charged she proceeded to tell me that it was a hold, and then the assistant lead came and what do we know my order was in the store after all. read more

A great "one stop shop" on my crummy day of being sick and walking away from ATLANTICARE after learning that my co-pay went from $15 to $50 - uhhh no! I checked into "Take Care", Walgreen's clinic, located within Walgreens (duh), via their easy to use (and nice, big screen/cyber keys) computer system. I wasn't seated but 2 mintues, and Melissa, the APN, called me into her office (omg - so tiny - it's a sin!). Melissa was super kind, thorough and even apologized for the (work) phone calls that she received while I was being checked/diagnosed. Although the office is small, Melissa had everything that she needed at her fingertips, including a thermometer, blood pressure cuff, pulsox, scale (thank you for not weighing me!), computer, printer and even a credit card sytem to process co-pays! I got my diagnoses, a script, beverage advice, and my printed visit summary and I was ready to go. I'd never used Walgreen's pharmacy before but did on this particular day. The pharmacy staff was very nice and let me know when my script would be filled. I picked up the reccommended Gatorade for my dehydration while I waited and then off I went. I'm a happy girl when I can save time by getting everything done under one roof! This location is a bit out of my way, but I'd definitely return. (I was greeted on both my way into Wagreen's and on the way out). read more

The absolute worst, what a nightmare this place is. I sell on ebay and one day I made a terrible decision to use the Fed Ex at this Mantua location. Everything seemed ok I paid and the employee took my package and I was on my way. Fast forward 3 weeks I receive a refund request from the buyer of said package stating they did not receive it. I check the tracking number and theres no info, it seems it had never left the store. I call Walgreens and no one has any idea where it is and "it probably got lost." I couldnt find the receipt of course so theres nothing I can do. Moral of the story here is ALWAYS SAVE YOUR RECEIPTS and NEVER COME HERE FOR ANYTHING, NOT ANYTHING! read more

This review is mainly for the Take Care Clinic. They helped me out in a pinch. Just didn't think I would have to pay all out of pocket... I came down with a painful earache / ear infection just before Christmas. Great timing. My family doctor was closed on saturday (Christmas Eve) and I did not feel like sitting in the waiting room at the local hospital emergency room, especially on a holiday weekend. I checked the Walgreens website for their Take Care Clinic Deptford location hours on saturday morning. They open at 9:30 am. There is an option to make an appointment but when I tried to make an appt it said there were no appt openings available but it said there was a short wait time. Okay. At around 9:30 am I drove over and signed in at the kiosk and waited about 10-15 minutes to be called back. The doctor asked all of the questions I expected and I answered them. He checked all of my vital signs. Then he checked out my ear and it was indeed an ear infection, I wasn't going to die or go deaf like I thought. He prescribed an antibiotic that I chose to have filled at the pharmacy where the clinic was located. When I went to the pharmacist she told me it would be about 15 minutes. So I walked around the store to see if there were any last minute things I needed. About 5 minutes later they called my name to report to the pharmacy. Quick friendly service from the pharmacy. Here is the only negative I can say about the Take Care Clinic: They do not accept the Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance that I have. On the Take Care Clinic website it says "Most Insurance Accepted", including medicare and medicaid. I don't know if this is the fault of the clinic or the insurance company, no idea who decides what. I know the coverage I have isn't the greatest but it covers *most* of what I need. Except the Take Care Clinic. The doctor said I could probably submit it to my insurance company for a possible coverage reimbursement, which I will do. read more

My review remains at 1 star until they fire the cashier that prioritizes socializing over ringing customers up that are waiting. How is it possible that she ALWAYS has a 3+ person line but thinks it's okay to blabber incessantly instead of just DOING HER JOB!!!!! Perhaps the worst retail establishment I've ever seen. My elderly mother gets prescription drugs here, and since she's not mobile, I've been picking them up. Every prescription has to be double checked -- I mean the number of tablets have to be counted. They routinely get things wrong. Last time I was there they told me my mom had just called two minutes before I got there for a renewal. I watched her make the renewal call the afternoon of the day before. They had no explanation for this. First time I went there they didn't have a prescription ready. The clerk said he would get it ready and call me on the public address system in 10 or 15 minutes. So, 90 minutes later I'm still sitting there waiting -- no call. Two male clerks work the pharmacy and routinely bark at people. They have no concept of routine courtesy -- seems like customers are just something unpleasant they have to deal with as curtly as possible. At a check-out cash register a young couple failed to charge $2.15 on both a debit and a credit card. They didn't have cash so they left. This apparently locks the cash register and a manager must be called to unlock it. She sauntered over after three or four minutes, unlocked the register without a word to me or the cashier. Just walked off as if we didn't exist. read more

The pharmacy department here is so rude it's truly unprofessional. They female pharmacist treats everyone as if they are drug seekers, yes i need to have that pink childrens antibiotic... really!? The male pharmacist is no better hes too busy talking flirting with the young girls to do his job. You are here to provide a service, the general public should not have to beg to get their prescriptions filled! disgusted by their ignorance I now drive 15 mins to get my family's prescriptions. read more

I have to send this review to let everyone know what employees Walgreens has at their Deptford store. We were getting a prescription filled and didn't have insurance to cover and the cost was very expensive. We tried to get a coupon but because of his age they company denied it but Walgreens staff perceived and found us a huge discount and it worked!!!!! We can't thank her enough for taking the time when they are so busy and made us feel important and wonderful at the same time. I would recommend this pharmacy to anyone read more

Not bad overall in pharmacy or sales floor. A generally nice place to do business for everything from medication to ice cream. A few customers feel like chatting and or doing their taxes at checkout sometimes but they cover that by opening another lane quickly. read more

Do NOT bring your prescriptions here!!! If the pharmacist doesn't like what medication you are on she will refuse to fill it. And she will take days getting ahold of your doctor to question why you are on this medicine, why your doctor won't switch it to something that she approves to, and will also request stupid shit like treatment plans. Once she does all this then she will finally fill it days later. Then the next month you try to fill the same thing and she will do it all over again because she "forgot" to put the information in your file. She will tell you this is policy, but they obviously don't follow their own policies when it comes to updating patient files. She is very ignorant to the customer, and she will discriminate based off of what meds your on. The best part is we have been filling all our scripts here for over 2 years without one problem until now!! Horrible pharmacist and horrible person!!! I went in there today (Sunday) for the Take Care Clinic. During the day my two and a half year old daughter had an increasing amount of yellow crud coming out of her eye and since she's had sinus infections before I already knew what it was and that she would need an antibiotic. My brother in law was also sick and had been sitting at the cvs clinic for hours that day which is what prompted me to look into this Walgreens clinic. When I checked the website at 4pm it said they were open until 5pm and there was no wait. I called my brother in law and told him and he left cvs and I packed my kids up and we headed over. What a waste of time!!!! We all arrived at the same time, 4:35pm. There was no one in the waiting area and the Dr./nurse practitioner was in the office with a patient. At 4:45 the patient came out of the office and we continued to sit outside and wait. 4:53pm: I went in and asked if someone was going to be coming out to help us. I was informed that because they were so busy they would no longer be accepting patients. I was shocked, I looked up at the clock directly behind the woman's head(the reason I know the exact time) and said I thought you were open until 5pm and she said yes we are, obviously not realizing the time. She still did not help me though, she looked at my daughter from her chair and agreed with me that she had a sinus infection and needed an antibiotic and told me that I should call her pediatrician tomorrow to get a prescription. THANKS FOR NOTHING!!!!!!! And you're wondering what happened to my poor brother in law who left his place in line at cvs where he had been sitting all day. He explained his situation to her about how we checked the website and he left cvs and she said she was done for the day. Guess who won't be going back to the Take Care Clinic? read more
