I saw the car online, sent in a inquiry about it, the next day I got emails to come in and see the car but there was only one picture of the vehicle, so I said "no 'm not unless you post more pictures for me to look at". They sent me several and told me they had just got the car in and that's why there was only one picture and it wasn't inspected or detailed. I then got an email from salesman Peter and he asked if I would be coming in that day since the pics were sent, I said yes, (with the determination of NOT buying a vehicle) but just looking at it as it wasn't clean, but did have a clean autocheck history and did have every bell and whistle that I wanted in a vehicle. I got there and was treated great! Peter was a fun and honest and professional person to work with and made my experience enjoyable. He didn't try and BS me about anything dealing with the car and was upfront about what he (the dealership) could and could not do. I would use him again if need be. Now my only gripe if there is one is this, why would a dealership even load pictures of a car that they just got in and list it for sale when they haven't done any inspections, any maintenance or detailing. That's like putting the cart before the horse. So I bought the car on that Saturday (so much for not buying when I said I wouldn't), but didn't receive it until Wednesday because they had to do the aforementioned maintenance, inspections, detailing. Peter did honor his word by having the car delivered to me since I lived about an hour or so away and didn't want to drag my wife back down there to go get it. So all and all this was a pleasurable experience, I love the car (SUV), it came to me clean and small imperfections were repaired/corrected to my surprise. Only time will tell if the car will hold up but everything on it seems nice and strong so I am pleased. Thank you Peter and the rest of the staff that helped (even if it was just getting us water to drink), I appreciate it and am glad I am not one of the people who had bad experiences for whatever reason.

But they charged me a lot of money! This place is not trustworthy and if you have a high-end car, they will charge you based on that high-end car and not fix the problem. I am not sure what the problem is with these people (maybe they don't like certain people) but something is suspicious about them. I contend that they didn't switch out the parts and just charged me for that issue because you will have the same problem. You can take your chances with them but I would look into another place to avoid the risk. I am not sitting here and the problem has gotten worse. Although I called to complain yet again, they were comfortable with me just contacting the authorities to try to resolve the issue. Make up your mind about using them, but in my opinion, I wouldn't. "They won" in my case, but caveat emptor (Let the buyer beware). Your money is hard-earned so go to someone you trust. Or, just take your chances!

My vehicle is over 20 years old, but not a 'classic'. I had done minimal maintenance on it for a…read morewhile (oil changes, etc.). I brought it in to Kelly's for a maintenance check, tire rotation, and oil change. Drop-off was easy. I came by early, filled out the envelope (bring your own pen), and dropped the key into the box. I was then able to walk home. After inspecting, they sent a link with the findings. Not unexpectedly, there were a lot of accumulated problems. I never got the impression that they were padding the estimate; I believed that what they found was accurate. I called to discuss options. I wanted to weigh putting money into the repairs and getting a few more years of life from the vehicle versus the cost of having to buy a new car now. During the call, they were quite reasonable and did not pressure me. In the end, I opted to proceed with the repairs. They completed the work in a timely way and called me to come and pick up the vehicle. I have now driven it for over a month and it seems to run well. While significant repairs are never a joy, I liked the way I was treated and would recommend Kelly's to others based on my experience.

I did not buy a car from Peachtree Auto Sales, but I can speak to the character of its owner…read more Two weeks ago, I had the cable leading from my alternator to my battery snap off due to wear and tear. I spent around three hours pushing my car along the side of I-85, and jumping in to pop start it, just to get it running for just a little bit longer, and for a few more miles. About two hours before I was scheduled to shoot maternity photos for a client, my car finally gave out on the ramp at exit 61. I coasted the car off the exit and into the parking lot of Jim's business. After spending some time looking around the engine bay to try and find the source of the problem, and finally identifying it; I went into Jim's business to ask whoever was there, where the nearest auto parts store was. I had planned to walk to the nearest parts store to buy some additional wire if I could find it. But when I stepped inside, it was Jim, the owner, who was friendly, sitting at the front desk, and more than ready to help. Not only did Jim give me directions, but he came out to access the situation. Then without being asked, Jim then locked up his business, told me sit tight, and left his business on his own time, in his own car, to go pick up tools to help me fix my car so I could get home. Not long after, Jim returned with a few sockets, pliers, and an adjustable wrench, which allowed me to disconnect the battery, and remove the damaged connector that had failed on my cars alternator. I then used the tools he provided, to strip the cover off the wire, and wrap the bare wire around the alternator post, and secured it with what was left of the damaged connection hardware. Jim then unlocked his business and let me wash my hands, and get cleaned up before getting behind my car himself and pushing it, to allow me to pop start it one last time for the drive home. After it started and ran normally, I promptly parked the car and left it running to shake the hand, and possibly hug the generous man who went out of his way to help me get home. Jim is the kind of person who is willing to drop what he's doing, and go out of his way to help a stranded stranger get home. He's the kind of guy who will actually risk losing an hour of productivity to give help to someone who needs it. And because of Jim, the three hours I spent pushing and pop starting my car on the side of the interstate weren't wasted. When my car broke down in Jim's parking lot I didn't know if I was going to get home, much less make it work two hours later. But Jim left his business for a short time to ensure that I had the tools I needed to improvise a repair on my car in his parking lot and get home. The term "selfless" is often thrown around without regard for its actual meaning. On the day my car broke down in his parking lot, Jim not only exemplified selflessness, but compassion, empathy, and self-sacrifice as well. He not only cared, but he offered help, after I had been passed for hours by literally hundreds of drivers on the interstate while pushing my car. I've written a number of reviews on this website, but I've never been particularly compelled to write one based simply on the kindness of another human being. Thanks to Jim, I can now claim that I have. Jim was willing to go to such lengths to help a complete stranger from whom he stood to gain nothing, that I can only imagine that buying a car from the man is an even more sincere and pleasurable experience.
