You can take your chances with them but I would look into another place to avoid the risk. I am not sitting here and the problem has gotten worse. Although I called to complain yet again, they were comfortable with me just contacting the authorities to try to resolve the issue. Make up your mind about using them, but in my opinion, I wouldn't. I text him back and no response. This continues through the ENTIRE following week with no response from him. He finally shows up on the 19th (nearly an entire month after we first agreed he would do the job). I paid him via CashApp for the labor and figured that was the end of the situation. When he left, I was happy, finally had some air conditioning in the truck. My happiness was short-lived, because by Monday it was back to blowing hot air (no freon). So of course, I texted him and finally Wednesday the 24th he said he would try to get to me by the weekend (26-27 September), of course that didn't happen. He texted me again on the 29th saying he would "try and make it today".... Finally on the 30th of September he made it back over to redo his work. Everything since then was fine until last Sunday, May the 17th. The AC started blowing hot air again (obviously the system has sprung another leak). I've attempted to contact him via text every day since then with absolutely no response. Oh, and for those of you wondering why I'm texting him instead of calling, he doesn't answer the phone and hasn't even bothered to set up a voicemail. If you have an AC issue, find someone else. He spent 3 days just trying to get a screw off...that was a bad sign right there. Every time we called him about the status of my truck, he had a different excuse as to why it was not ready. After 7 days I told him I needed my truck and we went to pick it up. He told us he had fixed the oil leak, but when I put the key in the ignition, the check engine light was now on and it was not on before. He was confused and could not figure out why the check engine light was on. We were there for an additional 3 hours waiting for him to figure out why the check engine light was on. We brought it back the next day to fix the new problem he created...he then said it was the O2 sensor. He told us that he put a brand new O2 sensor on my truck and that the light should go off. The check engine light NEVER went off. When we got my truck home the same day, my truck would no longer start and Mark came to my house to see what was wrong. Mark still had no clue why my truck was now not running. Mark also charged us an additional $500 from the price he initially quoted us stating that he had to charge for his additional time, the time that was his fault because he made the check engine light come on. Additionally, we took my truck to a more reputable and capable mechanic who told us that the O2 was never changed and that it was the old O2 sensor still on my truck. We paid over 1K for my truck repair with Mark and still had issues. We called him and told him what the mechanic who actually fixed my truck said about him NOT replacing the O2 sensor. He didn't even deny that he lied to us. He charged us for a part and service that he never put on my truck. He then told us to bring him the receipt for our repair work, which was an additional $300 from the other mechanic. He said he would reimburse us, but when we went to his shop, he only reimbursed us less than half of the $300. Mark also makes up prices along the way, as opposed to having a standard pricing list. Mark yelled and cursed at me in person and on the phone. My husband had to call him to handle that situation. He ruins cars and refuses to correct the issue!! Please read his reviews, all of them, not the ones that he had people make up on his behalf to make him look good!! He is the ABSOLUTE WORST MECHANIC I've ever encountered. And oh, he was VERY apologetic for "not telling me" the bumper came primed AFTER I'd already paid them \$1,100, but made zero effort, ZERO attempt to make it right and retain my business. He had the nerve to say out of his mouth, "Ma'am, we wanted to do our best to save you money and get your back to you as soon as possible." What??!! I am no dummy. I know what primed means. I know that many exterior car part replacements come primed, which is why I texted Juan while they still had my car to request a quote to replace my passenger-side mirror and SPECIFICALLY asked for a bottom line that includes the cost to paint it which, by the way, was a ridiculous amount! He actually tried to tell me it was that expensive because they have to 'program' it. Goodbye!
