Crooks Tire is such a great business. I woke up to a totally flat tire this morning. Neighbor changed it and put my spare on and I headed up to Crooks Tire in Senoia. These guys are fantastic. I can't say enough about their service and friendliness. Always willing to help and in such a timely manner. I've been using them since I moved here in 2020... i wouldn't go anyplace else . Check them out if you haven't already. Back a few months ago i had some work that needed to be done on my 2011 Nissan Armada ... Crooks took special care of me then and got it all fixed up for me. My husband and I just moved to Senoia and both of us had oil changes and tire rotations at Crook's. He called to book his and said Don was super nice on the phone and got him in immediately. I booked my appointment online for my next day off work and Don emailed me quickly and confirmed I was all set! I dropped the car off and was pleasantly surprised to see how clean the lobby was; they even have massage chairs for while you wait. Don was accurate with the timeframe for my visit and I left extremely happy. The pricing was very affordable and I didn't feel pressured into upcharges like many mechanics usually put on me. Do NOT ever use Crooks tire in senoia. I made an appointment last week for 2 new tires, a tire rotation, and oil change for 9 am today. I show up at 9 and the person who I assume is a manager was leaving and looked surprised that I was there for my appointment. He said he would be back in 5 minutes. He comes back and sees my appointment time there and they are so busy he had to open another lane. (I appreciate that he did that but I think maybe appointments should be taken into account when planning the day, otherwise what is the point in making one.) I am waiting about 20 minutes there when the power goes out.... my car is on the lift with no tires at the time (I understand this is not their fault and remained pleasant and tried to be patient.) He comes back in a few minutes later and said power wont be restored until 1 or 2. I call my sister (who is trying to clean up her house for a home inspection at 2) she drops what she is doing and loads up her 2 year old to come get me. 1030ish: I return home and she leaves. 1045: they text me to say power is back on and they are working on my car (go figure.... but again.... not their fault. I get it. Just annoying) Around 12 they call to tell me my car is ready. I get a ride up there. Get in my car and thank GOD stopped at the gas station next store for gas. I noticed my car was running funny. So I pull up to the pump and look...... yall, my tire wasn't even on all the way! The bolts were all loose and the tire was CLEARLY bowing out. I walk back over there to tell them. They had to take the car back to fix it again and inspect all the tires, etc. They were supposed to call me when it was done. Over 2 HOURS later I called them. They said, oh yeah. It is done. Meanwhile, I had to cancel my kroger clicklist order, rearrange my plans for dinner tonight, because what I was going to make takes a few hours. I had to inconvenience several other people for rides back and forth. I have gotten nothing done. Not to mention the danger it could have caused. Had I not needed gas and pulled out the way I normally would have i would have been in the middle of a busy intersection with a loose tire. After all this..... 6 hours and $350 later I was offered nothing more than a verbal apology. I am understanding of most things and don't usually complain, and certainly don't look for handouts but I feel that some sort of discount would have been nice, all things considered. I guess next time I will show my ass and raise hell. Being pleasant clearly doesn't get you any sort of understanding or refund for piss poor service and being put in a potentially life threatening situation. read more

This is where I take my vehicles when I need professional help or need a car checked out I am thinking about buying. Brad is the Mgr and does a really good job supervising over the shop. I was a front end technician for Firestone before I started my LE career. I recommend them and feel that I get a fair price for honest work. A few months back my son had four tires and an oil change before getting on the road to WV. Needless to say, the attendant didn't tighten the oil cap and it put my son on the side of the road. I called and got a half a$$ apology regarding the matter. Even though this happen I talked my husband into taking our nitrogen filled tire to be repaired there. Well, they didn't put the "N" labeled valve cap back on the tire. So really how do I know they put nitrogen back in the tire. I asked the manager about shop supplies listed on my bill. He said that was across the board for everyone. I asked why was there a regular cap on my valve stem since it should have been a green or a "N" labeled cap. At this point he become hostile. Telling me that it didn't make a difference if the tire had both nitrogen and air in it. Which is unacceptable considering we purchased the vehicle with the nitrogen filled tires. I kept trying to explain my point of view but it fell on deaf ears. I told him I want my valve stem cap that was labeled "N" back. He said he would have to order me one. WTH?! Finally, after refusing to leave they found the valve stem cap. But I am still unsure if the tire was filled with air or nitrogen. He made NO effort to resolve the situation. He felt the need to argue with me and prove that I was in the wrong and he was right. This is NOT how customers should be treated. My parents ran a full service station years ago. It was important for the customer to get the best service possible. That is totally not what we have been given. This makes the second time that poor customer service and incompetence has happen at this business. We try are best to patronize the local businesses but I would never recommend anyone to Crook's Tire & Auto. Too bad I actually have to give them a one star because they surely didn't deserve that. read more

Aptly named. I brought in my car to get an oil change and tire rotation on a Saturday morning and the guy behind the counter, Terry, told me there were 5 cars ahead of me. I asked him if he could get the job done by close of business, and he said yes. I left the key with him and went about my day, waiting for him to call and say my car was ready. The call never came. It was posted on Google and on their front door that they closed at three on Saturdays, so when I heard nothing by three, I walked down there to see what was going on. The door was locked, the lights were off, and no one answered the phone. My car was sitting out front, unlocked. I wandered around the parking lot trying to figure out what to do and someone from the gas station next door told me to try to track down the owner at the grocery store across the street. I tracked down the store owner, who seemed to think the store was supposed to close at two (posted hours are three pm), and blamed me for not asking Terry when they closed. He at least let me have my key back and said we would settle up on Monday. I got in my car and the system messages that said the oil needed changing and the filter needed replacing popped up on the console. Did they even work on my car? Wish I knew. I haven't given them any money yet and am wondering if I should. It was a bad time. read more
