The Portland Pickles moved here this year (2026) which is a great thing for the neighborhood. It's a sizable park, and has the baseball field in the middle. Not the fanciest setup, but it's good enough for what it is. Know your seating options before buying tickets, cos we showed up and the regular tickets just grant you access to the grass... should bring your own chairs. read more

This pickles stadium is a blast! Best place to enjoy a beer and a game! My family loves coming here, food could be better but it's not horrible we still enjoy it. The fun time we have here makes it all worth it. The people at these games really are just there to have a good time together with us all. Definitely try a game. read more

This is about the best you're going to get out of the baseball experience in Portland, and that ain't bad. The disappointment about this not being a "stadium" comes from dullards who aren't footing the bill for it, so let them whine. For absolutely zero new tax dollars, fans get basically a mall's worth of Portland food, beverage, and apparel brands under in one venue and an ad-agency owned team that cares more about entertaining the people present than it does about boring crowds to death with league-mandated promotional templates. For every tattoo you can get here during game day, Portugal the Man show you'll see for the price of a ticket, stripper or drag queen who takes the field as part of the pregame festivities or pop culture reference the entire building is getting, there's a fan who's never going to go to a "stadium" again without thinking long and hard about what they're being sold. If you want your tech company middle manager's idea of a fine team-building activity on a Star Wars/Marvel theme night straight out of MiLB's kit from $DIS, take 26 through the tunnels and keep going until you see the smokestacks and smell the child-rearing despair. Hillsboro waits for you. But if you haven't given up on life yet and view baseball as pleasant background for a bunch of other things you'd rather be doing that night, Walker Stadium is as much stadium as you'll ever need--and nobody will ask you for $200 million in tax dollars to build it twice within a decade. read more

I will agree that this is more of a field than a stadium, but it's pretty fun to check out a Pickles game. Parking may not be the greatest but there is a lot of street parking in the general area. They have a bit of food and drinks, although they were running out of stuff early which was not great. Watching the game was pretty fun and they definitely have a lot of entertaining segments throughout. Maybe not the best idea to have kids throwing balls, playing soccer, etc by bathrooms, walkways etc. It was annoying to have all that where you're supposed to be able to walk with food and drinks. The other concerning matter was the guy with the knife. People had the giant beach balls and a guy in front not once, but twice, grabbed the ball, pulled out a large knife, and repeatedly stabbed them (to the dismay of most everyone around). I know there isn't much in the way of security but it feels unsafe to have knife wielding psychos in the stands. He was reported to security who didn't go to the exact location of his seat as provided but just kind of wandered. They had to be told again about this guy before they came (letting him enjoy far too much of the game) before they once again just wandered. I personally stood up and said the seat and pointed so they had no choice (to cheers which was nice). After a bit they allowed him to return. We all had a big problem with that (lots of people in the crowd). He should have been kicked out, not just come back without the knife. They left early probably to avoid the crowd that hated them (good choice). If brandishing a weapon and destroying other's property doesn't get you kicked out I don't think it's a place I want to return. It only gets 2 stars because even though it's a very minor league, it's still one of the fun things you can do in the area for a reasonable price. You just might not feel so safe. read more

Yay! I am a big fan of the Pickles and watching them play here. Yes, the play drags on with all the between-inning antics, but it's only a 7-inning game and it's baseball. Time is irrelevant. So many pros: Tickets are cheap, there are plenty of beer options, and after the game (at least on the day we were there) they started giving away leftover food for freeeeee. Sadly, I had no more room for a fried pickle but was SUPER tempted. If you bring a kid they will have a grand ol' time playing with the zillion other kids down the 3rd base side. Dillon (the team's mascot) makes the rounds so be sure to grab a photo with him. You can find shade out in left field but otherwise the stands are not covered. It's BS that another reviewer dinged this place on semantics. read more

July 4th. Grass Berm. Double header - Pickles vs Rouges. I honestly cannot tell you who won because I saw less than 20% of the game. All around us were a ton of kids playing, screaming, crawling, laughing, jumping, playing with whiffle balls, beach balls and each other. If you have kids bring them to the berm and they will love you forever. We don't have kids but that doesn't mean you won't meet a few who might actually make you're day. Julia and her Dad were there tonight and she was quite the conversationalist for just being 4 - in fact that young ambassador saved the long, boring night for us. We didn't even stay for the fireworks which might just now being set off at 11:23pm (I don't honestly know since we left at 10:15pm with the arrival of the local fire rescue and the game was still going). If you like summer collegiate wood-bat league baseball then you'll like the Pickles. For me it was a bit campy with every inning including the Pickle Dance, the Chicken Dance and a variety of other mascot dances that just dragged the game along. I erroneously assumed we'd see those fireworks as soon as it got dark. Nope. They turned on the lights and made us sing "At the old ballgame". And sure if you're a 30ish patron who enjoys stumbling around on the grassy knoll as you guzzle down $8 glasses of cheap beer then this is ideal for you! I paid $3 for a bottle of water and it was not well worth it. Next year - St Paul rodeo or perhaps a date on the couch with TV fireworks. At least that way parking is convenient, I won't get grass stains on my shorts and the only kids screaming with be easily muted from the remote. Happy Fourth of July, Pickles! read more

What do you get when you shoehorn a baseball stadium into a city park? Walker Stadium, the home of the Portland Pickles. Given with what they have to work with, the Pickles have done a nice job creating a great atmosphere in this cozy setup. We came here on a Thirsty Thursday which features select $2 drafts, some of which are good craft beer options. Food is reasonably priced, too. The fans were very into the game, even though it's not a higher quality like the single-A Hillsboro Hops or the late AAA Beavers. It's summer wooden bat college baseball, and it's a learning curve for those that have hit with aluminum throughout their careers. Overall, this is an affordable and fun experience if you're looking to kill some time on a weeknight. read more

Come for some college baseball, stay for the cheap beer. Home of the summer league Portland Pickles, it's a great place to catch a ball game in the warm Portland weather. I'd honestly only come for Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday games. Tue and Thurs are $2 domestic nights where you can enjoy Tacate tallboys on the cheap. Wednesday is $3 craft night and the beer truck has 6+ beers on tap and a good selection. If you need more, they've got your standard burgers and dogs or you can get a pickle on a stick. If you're going to sit out in the berm, bring a chair as otherwise you probably won't be able to see much. Bleacher seats are pretty cheap at $10 a piece too. Pro Tip: the $80 10 game pack is a good way to go. You can split the tickets across multiple games. Go you and your significant other for one game and use 8 tickets for another game with all your friends if you want. read more

We went to our first Pickles game with three grandkids & parents and thought it was a fun night. One of the grandkids even got a foul ball. But! The women's restroom. Disgusting!! There were three almost full rolls of toilet paper on the floor in one stall, in an unknown pool of wet. The soap was in a plastic bottle, which would have been fine but one bottle had the spout broken off so soap came pouring out, making it especially hard for small kids. It would seem with a venue that gets this much use, over 2,500 at last night's game, they could hire someone to service the restrooms. read more
