Plus: it's a car park, so who cares? £5.50 all day during the week, £3 all day on Saturday, £1 an hour Monday - Saturday, £1 all day Sunday. It's about a five minute walk from the shopping, but I think the extra distance is well worth it to not face £12 in parking fees from NCP. The only real downside is the fact that Total Parking doesn't stay open very late. It closes between 7pm and 9pm depending on the day, so check with them before you park up.

park safe in lancaster is i think the best place to park…read more you get a ticket as you go in and the gates shut behind you (so there is no chance of getting a ticket) you park in a bay and take note of your number then secure the bay when you go out this then means your car is safe. you need your ticket to get bach into the car park. there is cameras every where and panic alarms and the whole place is bright. it makes you feel safe

Despite being so close to town, it's kind of out of the way too, so make sure all your valuables are out of site as it can be quiet during the middle of the day. Railway Triangle Car Park car park is cheap as well. Reasonable and close to town. Gets the job done basically.

They…read morehave just got a new system in recently where press a button at the machine and it gives you a chip then you go and do your shopping. When you have finished your shopping you put your chip in the machine and pay for how ever long you have been. I think this is great because this way it is fair and you are just paying for the time you have been away from your car. When you pay for your parking you get another chip and then that allows you to get out of the car park! You would be knackered though if you lost your chip! :D

The cars were crammed in an I imagine its a great place to get your car bumped or the painted work scratched. No sure of the day rates for parking but over night it cost us a tenner which I didn't think was too bad really. The guy manning the car park was really helpful and explained all the car park rules to us clearly about when you could gain access to your car overnight. Handy and safe place to leave your car.
