We should have for two average size blinds. It was a few months, but they finally arrived, and I was happy to pick them up. I got them home and opened the boxes. One of the blinds was slightly damaged in transit. Not enough to make me want to go for a few more months without blinds, but all the hardware was included in the installation was fairly simple. It looks great (except for the small bit of damage). I opened the second box to start the installation and realized none of the mounting hardware or clips had been included. I called the store where we picked them up, and told them about the missing parts. They told us to come by to pick them up. I provided my order number so they knew exactly what parts I needed. When we got there, nothing had been done about gathering parts, even though they knew exactly what I needed. Neither of the two ladies helping me seemed terribly surprised that this had happened. I was considering ordering another few blinds, but now I'm not so sure.

Upon requesting an initial quote with Closet Envy (Waterdown location), they phoned the very next day to arrange for Melissa, their closet designer to visit. She assessed our needs, took measurements of the closet, and came up with a visual of what the closet would look like to maximize space. She also shared the quote - all within the same visit. The quote was sent for review and written approval, and they quickly made arrangements for installation right after the New Year. The price was very reasonable for a custom design. The service technician re-measured and cut the shelving outside in his truck and installed the closet in a few hours. The closet was not a perfect rectangle, so he was able to adjust his measurements accordingly. He took off his shoes in the house, and cleaned up after. The shelves are sturdy, have metal holders and are well built. Overall, we are happy with the product and service and would highly recommend Closet Envy.

I went to the store on Sportsworld Drive in Kitchener where I bought them and was told I had to by this piece for $3 or take the blind down and bring it in to have it covered under their warranty. This is a small piece that clips on. When I pushed back a little, I was told I could have 2 parts for the price of one (hilarious). This was a part that they dug out of a plastic bin and it took almost 5 minutes to process it on their computer. THEN... It turns out the part is $4.10+tax. What a horrrible warrranty/customer service expeerience. Long story short, Blinds to Go Kitchener, I will not be buying anything else there when I go to do the rest of the blinds in my home.
