With a tight turnaround between finals and a flight across the country for his brother's graduation, Brooke and Rachel went above and beyond. They extended hours during finals week, offered a basement unit so he could use the stairs if the elevator was tied up, and most importantly, kept a caring eye on him during a hectic time. As a mom, their thoughtfulness and professionalism put my mind completely at ease. The facility itself is fantastic--convenient for Gonzaga students, with a large elevator and plenty of carts that make moving in and out a breeze. If you're a Gonzaga family looking for storage, I can't recommend More Space enough. Brooke and Rachel are absolute gems!

That was a bonus but the gentleman signed me up was very helpful at the time. Unfortunately it turned out that I was never signed up for the bonus sign in and now it comes time for paying the third month rent with the late fee. Denny the manager of secure it self storage was not helpful at all. If I had the chance to do it over again I would not rent from secure it self storage. I would like to think that the proper thing to do for a business is to make it right for the customer. Thank you for nothing Denny.

Unfortunately, he had car trouble on the drive up from CA, and wasn't able to get into town to pick up the rental at the appointed time. I called the office to see what our options were and was fortunate to have the Regional Manager, Amanda, answer the phone. I explained our situation and she was extremely friendly and helpful in providing a solution at no extra cost. It was a very stressful time and I greatly appreciated her assistance! When my son finally made it to town, the rental was waiting for him. The whole process was very smooth and we highly recommend them!

This place is slimy. At first it seems easy, rates look comparable to others in the area, and…read moreservice is good. But after renting for several months, there was a sudden increase in rate from $74 per month to $129 per month, effective in a month. That's a 75% increase. 55 dollars is 74.3% of 74 dollars. I had some management folks doing creative math to create a smaller number, arguing with me about the percent. Reasons given for the increase include cost of doing business, inflation, going rates of other renters, and other factors. Peak inflation post-COVID was 9% per year. They're clearly gauging and trying to pass it off as normal. But they continued to advertise low rates online. The rates listed online, such as 69-79 per month for 5x10, are "promotional rates", I was told by the regional manager. I take that to mean that those are rates to lure you in. Upon reviewing my initial rental agreement, there was no mention that my $74 rate was a promotional rate, and no mention that I could expect a large rate increase within a year. I was given offers by the location to move to a similarly sized unit across the hall for a slight increase in rent. I don't understand why they would make someone move like that. Regional manager gave me the option to pay $99 per month for the same unit. I decided to take our business elsewhere. Imagine being someone who can't just move their things out within a month, perhaps due to age or disability. Or imagine being someone who lives in another part of the country. I myself am a busy healthcare worker and I don't have time for this. Some people have no choice but to pay the large increase in rates. I think they know this. I think it's built into their business model. I think it's really slimy. I think this place can provide a good short term service, but I wouldn't trust them. They are extracting extra money from folks with limited warning, knowing that if folks don't agree to rate increases, they have to go through the hassle of finding a different place all over. It's somewhat like extortion. Their parent company West Coast Self Storage has a website that says, "With West Coast Self-Storage, you get storing solutions from a business that you can trust." I strongly disagree.
