I have used this company twice and love how friendly the staff treated me. They called me back promptly, they came and gave an estimate quickly, we signed the paperwork and they called and verified time of arrival for following day and the day of moving they let me know they were on there way. I was impressed with the communication both times. When they arrived they loaded up my years of accumulated memories and took care to fasten it down I was very impressed and the moving blankets they used were nice ones. When we arrived at my residence they were mindful of my new neighbors and we showed them where we wanted stuff I sat in the living room and my friend sat on the porch it was easier for them to just ask us if they had a question if we were right there instead of in the way. They finished the job quickly it was the amount of time allotted and they were so friendly. I felt bad later I didn't offer them a drink as it was a hot day. I will be doing that next time I use them as I did find out they can go pickup items at a house and bring to me. I never thought of a moving company able to accommodate so many scenarios. Absolutely horrendous treatment by the team supervisor. One of his movers was allowed to use the restroom which resulted in his urine flooding all over my bathroom floor. When the supervisor heard that I was on the phone with his boss he came out hot headed and threatened to throw my property out in the street. When I pointed out he'd just be paying for it because it's insured in the contract I signed with them. He then stormed off and had to have his boss call him to tell him to get back inside to do his job. This kind of blatant disrespect towards a client is unacceptable by any means. Not only did I never raise my voice or swear at him, he actually interrupted a conversation I was already having with my assisted living caseworker to throw this tantrum. I explained that it's common courtesy to clean up any mess you make and that if I had caused the mess I'd go to a dollar store for a mop and clean my urine off his floor. Apparently that's worth quitting and voiding a contract over, and threatening the private property of a client. Great job Ken, keep making your company look good. Honestly, if this is how they move a disabled person assisted by SLP out of HUD housing it's astounding to me they have a positive rating. I imagine it's the labor put in. They took several larger pieces in one go which sped things up. -Disregard owner reply. Literally nobody offered to clean the mess. I was told that they don't carry shammies or towels or mops and Ken explicitly said they would not return to clean the mess, after the super on the phone said the same exact thing. Do not believe the owner replies for a moment, I am the one who had to go get a mop and return to the previous property to clean it. The only reason I did it, is because if I didn't my caseworker would have had to. It's one thing to make a mess and then threaten the client and throw an actual storm-off tantrum, it's another to go into yelp and try to lie about what happened. Even worse every party involved mutually agreed that if you got urine all over someone's floor, accident or not, it's literally just common courtesy to clean it up. They simply refused to do so and asked stupid questions like "what would you do?" Only to have no proper response to "I'd clean it". read more

They not only moved us to our new location, they stopped at our storage unit and unloaded numerous items, then went back to old home to retrieve furnishings we wanted to discard, and they loaded it up and took it to be discarded. Paid OT rates for a Sunday move. They showed up on time but reeked of booze. It was a lot to move and it was hot day but they quit after one load and said to try to finish my move another day. I called back in and explained the situation and no one really cared. I had to finish moving our home so I got them for a couple more hours on another day and one guy is more than likely stoned. Our original move in June went very well, movers were fast and efficient. They were not able to move our refrigerator into the house because of a screen door that needed removed. We had them back out to move it a couple months later. Unfortunately they damaged it. The use of straps and some protection of the unit would have helped. We had zero breakage (my mother had used a different company and it had not gone well at all). Their quote was reasonable, and they were very friendly and easy to work with, The day of the move they sent Vance and Jeff. They were on time and took more care of my furniture and belongings than any of my other moving teams. They were courteous, wrapped and tied down everything with care. They set up and put my bed together quicker in half the time of my last crew. I highly recommend using them. I hired this company to move some heavy items for me across town. The two young men that came out were, on time and very polite. They layed down a runner in order to not harm the floor. They were very efficient in their work. You pay by the hour (with a minimum). So, efficiency is of great importance. With this crew, you get what you pay for. I would/will hire this company again.
