By far the best price in town! Larry had a dumpster ready to bring over in 30 minutes and the next day I finished my project and he hauled the concrete away. Larry is a great guy, provides great service, and has the best prices in town!

You'll probably get him on his cell and he will be short with you, he's a straight-forward dude that can bust up cement pools, he's not angling to win Mr. Congeniality. I also like that he's not one of the chatty contractors, just because I'm a lady doesn't mean I want to talk to you, get to know you or vice versa. I have a job, I want to know if you can do it and how much. Period. Since it was an outdoor project he was able to come out and give a quote without me having to take off time from work. Once I asked him to do the job, he came back AFTER work hours (big deal since many only work business hours) and we talked about what needed to be done. When I asked about payment, he said he takes checks only (to clarify because some will be perplexed: no credit cards) and would pick it up AFTER the job was done. Easy enough! If you need a demolition, junk removal man, call Best Hauling. Forget the other numbers you see online, in the newspaper classifieds or Craigslist.

Nothing says "good morning" like a belt sander grinding outside your bedroom wall. Fortunately,…read moreAmerican Façade makes construction as tolerable as possible. My landlord hired American Façade to rehabilitate the exterior of the 140 year old building I live in. To the naked eye, the brickwork is in great antique condition, but the restoration company saw some weaknesses in the structure. For two weeks, they toiled away grinding, patching, and sealing up two façades. What's more impressive, during the two weeks temperatures teetered between 95º and 104º, plus the workers were suspended from a rooftop lift (like window washers.) Late one afternoon, I hear a rapping at my window. The contractor wanted to chat. Since I was one of the few tenants home at the time, he asked if I noticed any water damage around the exterior walls. So far, we've been dry through typhoon season, but I pointed out places that may have presented a problem before we moved in. I also asked if they could check out a window that was stuck. "Sure! No problem," the man replied. As noisy as masonry work can be, American Façade does a thorough job and communicated well with both residents and the landlord. Plus they went the extra mile for my window.

Sadly, no. Insult to injury, after 17 weeks, they are still on the same end of the same side of the building; To put this into perspective, a total of six apartments are on this side of the building. They might do good work as I cannot notice anything to the naked eye but at 17 weeks and no end in sight, no thank you. Update: Twenty weeks and still not finished. Another update: twenty two weeks and STILL NOT DONE!
