We've used Wally in the past, and I was really impressed. Based on our previous experience, I reached out to him again to have some items hauled away. I set an appointment with Wally but I was unable to be home at the set time. My fiancé met with Wally and showed him the items to be removed. I asked if Wally had given her a price to haul the items away. I was shocked and appalled when my fiancé told me the cost was going to be $650. I asked to talk to Wally, who was standing next to my fiancé at the time. I told Wally $650 was outrageous and Wally immediately lowered the price to $495. I think $495 was still too much but I was in a bind because we needed to make room for a load I was bringing in over the next few days (I'm in the process of moving in). After speaking with Wally I determined he was taking advantage of my fiancé because she's a woman. I've never been so insulted and appalled. Needless to say, we won't be using Wally anymore. What I have since learned is that Wally does everything else, they work on my yard, do weedeating, the tree trimming, and he's so fast, and the work is really really well done. I can tell he's a perfectionist, and he even fixed my gate that wasn't working, and replated some tomatoes that were too close together. I like him personally, I think he's a good person, and I trust him at my property and with codes. I think I will call Wally for any kind of handy man repair and work in the yard, as well as hauling. Wally set up one of his guys to help me move on a Sunday-back on Labor Day. The guy had seen the amount of boxes + bed to move & brought smallest truck anyway, so move took 3 trips. I was 2nd laborer. Guy then insisted on Wally's full rate of $115 per hour, so $400 for 3 1/2 hrs and refused to give me receipt. After 3 emails and phone calls still no receipt .
