Even though all of the sales personal were great, they would tell us that they would get back with us on our questions, they never did. That is until we went to Fox Ford in Cadillac and worked with Howard Canfield. Not only did he answer our questions he would get the answers for us if he couldn't directly answer there. During the entire process, not once did I feel pressured to buy right away. He gave us the space to talk and discuss the purchase, and even encouraged us to go home, talk it over, and then when we were ready, to come back in--if we wanted. Once we decided to go with our 2024 Ford F-150, he talked to us about the truck how all the bells and whistles worked. Then when it came time for the unenviable "up sale," he didn't push it. He explained what they were and the benefits of having them added on. He never pushed it and even told us that if we didn't want them, that it would be no problem. Once we did purchase it, Howard explained how everything worked, and then told me that once I get my boat off of the trailer, to bring the trailer back in and he would take some time and help me get all the stickers in the correct place so that I could use the system to help back up trailers! I can tell you this, the next time that we are looking at buying a new car our first and only stop will be at Fox Ford in Cadillac, and we will be working directly with Howard Canfield.

I bought a used pickup from them. The positives- wound up with a fair price on the truck, the…read morefinancing was fair/friendly and organized, and there was good communication up until the day of purchase. The negatives- they lowballed the offer on trade in and were very rude in negotiation. Further when it was discovered that the pickup's navigation wasn't working they refused to alter the price, or fix it, but rather just clung to 'we didn't say it worked in the listing' (it was a $150 fix, and you show pictures of the navigation/SD slot). Said that service would remove the nail that was discovered in the tire-didn't. No tour of the truck or it's features. All in all I'm happy with the truck, however, the experience and the customer service stood out for being so negative and adversarial. Having bought used cars 4-5 times Over the last decade I can say this was the worst customer service of them all.

Cadillac Tire Center ROCKS!!!!…read more Last week I took my car to Cadillac Automotive to get an oil change. When they do an oil change they do an inspection. They told me that my lower ball joint needed replacing which caused two of my tires to be worn...one so bad that the threads are almost coming thru, plus it needed an alignment. All this would come to $325.00 So I bought the part from O'Reilly's Auto Parts in Cadillac for $23 and had a good friend of ours that is laid off from his job but works on cars on the side and he put the car up on the hoist and could not find a bad ball joint anywhere, that it needed an alignment for sure but none of the tires were bad..a little worn...but did not need to be replaced as of yet. I called Cadillac Tire Center this morning and told I needed an alignment. They took my car back and and low and behold...No lower ball joint issue...and no tire issue! The alignment cost $39.95! You know that I will be going back there!!!

After searching the greater Detroit area and coming up empty handed, I expanded our search. It is then that I found and got connected to Fox Toyota of Cadillac (over 3 hours from where we live). I found that they would be receiving one that met our requirements with exterior color, interior color and options. I reached out to Donavan Simmons a sale associate there to begin communication on the Grand Highlander. I can gladly say that he & the whole dealership made the experience a great one! I expressed to Donavan that we were usual Chrysler customers (my father-in-law worked for them) and my wife had some reservations about the purchase of our first Toyota. I also expressed that I had usually bought cars through a friend where there were NO stereotypical "salesman" tricks. I can say Donavan was able to reassure my wife that this would be a great choice without being pushy or arrogant. He answered all her questions in a way that made her very comfortable. When it came to finalizing the deal there were no "salesman" tricks. I had a vehicle to trade in, and Donavan was able to give me a reasonable price for the vehicle with pictures and providing him some information (mind you we lived over 3 hours away). He also promised that once the vehicle got to him in person, he "should" be able to increase that offer. True to his word he and Fox Toyota increased the trade in value by $500.00. As a former Assistant Customer Service manage with a large grocery chain, I can tell you Donavan and Fox Toyota treated my wife and I exactly how customers should be treated fair, open and honestly. I can recommend Fox Toyota of Cadillac without any reservations!
