That sparked some anxiety because, 1, I was 2.5 hours from home and 2, Rte 15 being, so rural is a narrow 2 way street with little to no room for issues on the side of the road. I pulled into Advance Auto Zone and asked for assistance with checking my battery. Its a free service they offer. The lady in there was very responsive and immediately came out to assist! She was extremely professional and knew what she was talking about as I googled a couple things before coming here. :) She didn't see any issues but did advise if I hadn't run my car in a while, this could happen. And it's true. I work at home now so I don't run it everyday like I used too. She said while I ran it today my alternator helped power the battery and I should be fine. She wasn't worried about it so I felt good. I really appreciated her time and professionalism!

That the job takes about three hours so if I had my truck to the shop in the morning they could have it back to me by 1:00. I had my truck at the shop before 10:00 AM. However, they didn't start working on the truck until 12:00 and I didn't get the truck until 4:30 PM. Next is payment. I was quoted $550.00 for 6.5 foot F-150 bed. When I got to the shop I was asked if I would be paying with cash or card. I chose credit card. I was surprised to see the bill was now $599.00. I was told that there was tax and a surcharge for using a credit card. I was never informed of this and nothing on the web site advises of it. The final straw was after I got the truck home I noticed that they placed a Bullet Liner sticker on my back glass. I paid enough to them. I don't need to advertise for them. They should be partying me. I do not recommend this business to anyone. Stick with the original Linex.

I am strongly disappointed in the way this dealership navigates their "as is" vehicles. I was…read moreunaware that this was an "as is" vehicle prior to meeting with them. It was not displayed on their advertisement and was not disclosed during our chatting prior to my 2 hour drive out there. The vehicle was not cleaned and had no evident maintenance efforts. I asked several people in the office if they could give me some information but they told me they don't do anything beyond an "inspection check" and "oil change" due to the age and mileage.. but I question that more now after learning they failed to do the oil change on this one. I was then directed to the financing room, I should have walked right out that front door. That was my mistake. Above all else, it's very disheartening that there is no way they weren't aware of this cars issues. They watched me drive off, knowing I had my small, medically fragile child in the backseat. This vehicle was all I had to transport to and from hospitals and appointments for my child. I didn't expect anything extravagant as I knew my budget was limited. Less than a week later, I learned the entire emissions system was failing, failing catalytic converter, evap system, malfunctioning fuel tank, and a dead battery. I now have a vehicle that needs over 3k in repairs and barely runs with no possible solution. I've lost my faith in humanity after this experience.

Every business has off days, but instead of lying to keep covering up things and getting defensive when questions are asked, just be honest to the consumer. Lying gets you nowhere. After 3 weeks of having the lawnmower and getting a call on Friday that it was fixed, Hugh picked it up, brought it home and unloaded it off the trailer for the PTO not to turn on. Hugh took it back up there this morning to address the issue and the person told him it was checked by the service tech and was working Friday so they would not be looking at it again to see what was wrong with it. Hugh asked the guy some questions in which the service techs reply was, "man, why are you digging?" Then the repair guy told him to take the lawnmower and go! Another small business that saw Hugh's post reached out to Hugh and helped him repair the lawnmower over the phone. We once took and bought everything to service our equipment from there to support local. They told him he burned a bridge. Say what? How did we burn a bridge by bringing business to you and back once we realized it was still broken? No sir, you all burned a bridge for lack of customer service and not standing behind the work that was previously done. There is no way the lawnmower was tested by the service tech and working properly by what was found and fixed by a phone call. If I could sell this lawnmower back to them, I would. We are just one measly prior customer of theirs but we won't be stepping foot back in there ever again.
