I was at this store on 7/1/18 in the bakery area. I was waiting to get a loaf of their fresh baked bread on a shelf over toward the seafood freezer. A woman was standing at the shelf for a pretty decent amount of time, trying to choose a loaf. I positioned myself to see wth she was doing to take so long. She was opening the loaf of bread & feeling between each slice! I waited to see if she put it in her cart. NOPE! Back on the shelf it went. I grabbed the loaf of bread and said, "you can't do that!". She replied, "I'm not going to buy a loaf with holes in it". I know what she is talking about, fresh bread often has air pockets which leaves you with slices that aren't complete. I said, "I don't care what your reason is, you can't touch all the bread like this, that other people are going to buy". She said, "my hands are clean". At this point I feel like I'm losing my mind. I took the loaf that I knew she had touched and brought it to an employee & explained what was going on. He went over to her. A man, who appeared to be with the woman, looked at me and said, "go bother someone else". I said, "this is disgusting, I am not bothering anyone, what she is doing is VILE". I probably got a little loud, another employee came over. The woman said she didn't touch the bread. I blurted out YOU ARE ON VIDEO YOU DISGUSTING PERSON! The worker who came over to see what was going on was nice, got me a loaf of bread from the back. ALL of the bread on that shelf should have been disposed of. ALL OF IT. Evidently Walmart needs to tape the very top of the bags so these disgusting shoppers can't test drive food that others are going to buy & consume. When we get the bread home we can snip off the taped part & go on with our lives, knowing no one fingered the f'ing bread. I realize, it's only bread, but for the love of God... is it too much to ask that I may purchase food that hasn't had someone's azz picking fingers grazing over it. read more
