One of the best places to eat your favorite pastries. The place is small, but you will find all sorts of goodies in here, which seems to change very frequently. Their cupcakes are decadent and flavorful. The brownies are fudgy and creamy without losing its shape. I recommend the cookie dough brownie if you are up for a decadent chocolate flavor. One of the best brownies I've ever had, if not the best. I keep on coming back for more. Service is also great, all the employees are super friendly and helpful. read more

Small but very nice place to get the most detailed, beautiful, and delicious pastries in Liverpool. You have to get here quick otherwise they are gone! You are greeted with the most nicest person behind the counter to help you select your favorites. They will help you with any questions or if you have allergies they will advise what is in the pastry. My ultimate favorite...Double chocolate expresso cookie. They are addictive, in a good way! The desserts are very pretty, love all the designs and added gold. We loved the macaroons and I'm happy with the larger size of these cookies. The cake batter and fudge were my favorite macaroons. The peanut butter brownie was tasty also, more brownie with a light peanut butter flavor. The layers gave it a creamy texture. I would have liked the names listed in the case for the cupcakes and cookies, but the lady was kind to list them off. But then I didn't want to keep asking her to repeat the names I forgot, so my son just picked something that looked nice although unsure of the flavor. The staff was very nice and the space is beautifully decorated. Parking is very easy here and a bonus is that this shop is located right next to the Liverpool public library! Generally speaking, it's typically a five-star place. Sometimes their macarons are over baked and that's disappointing so demerits for that. A macaron should be crunchy yet give a 'clean' bite--if it crumbles all over the place it was over baked. The cake tends to also be awesome but one time I got two cannoli cupcakes that were just blah (no idea how they were considered cannoli, as it was basically just white cake). Despite all of this, I keep going back because I think it's the best bakery in the area. I'm pretty serious about my pastries so I don't typically get any pictures! read more

Love this cute little bake shop in the Village of Liverpool. I usually get a mix n match of whatever looks good in their cases. They always have different items made and it's hard to pick the ones to try. My family is always happy when I come home with a box of Sugar Blossom's goodies. They think It's exciting to see the different items I picked out and we often split the goodies so we can each try it. The staff is friendly, parking is easy, and it's always fun to go in there. First time shoppers at Sugar Blossom and I'm not sure if it's the sugar talking but oooo weee, were those some good cookies!! We tried the peanut butter chocolate chip cookie sandwich and it sang to me! It was a well balanced flavor with well balanced sweetness. Sometimes you have to keep running back to the water bottle because you get so overwhelmed with sweetness, not that that's always a bad thing, but I know for some it can make you shy away. For a more complete review I'm unfortunately going to need to go back again and again and resist from getting the same thing. I look forward to trying more and I hope you Enjoy!! read more

Sugar Blossom Cake Shop, a new venture from local bakers Kaleigh Ligoci and Lauren Scarpelli, has brought custom cake design and trendy desserts to the heart of downtown Liverpool. The creative duo fills the bakery's glass dessert case with colorful macaroons, cupcakes, cookies, bars and brownies. Specialty coffee is served by the cup or purchased by the bag. Custom consultations for wedding and special events cakes take place on the bright second floor studio, where Ligoci displays her collection of vintage cake plates alongside tiered wedding cakes decorated with delicate scrollwork and realistic sugar flowers. I can only review the dessert case baked goods. My first experience with Sugar Blossom was during a Yelp Elite event. Everything was absolutely delicious and owners were very nice, but I always gotta give another try before I write a review. Today I went back to get some treats for the wife and my anniversary and had the same experience. Owners are very friendly, and the treats we bought were delicious. Small bakery, but very bright and cheery inside. My favorite thing from them was a double chocolate cookie that was just amazing, delicious chocolatey heaven. Their desserts, while delicious, are also more on the trendy side than other bakeries, so they are just very pretty desserts that they clearly put a lot of thought and effort into designing. With the fancier, trendier designs though, comes my only slight on them...higher prices than most bakeries. Two cupcakes and two brownies cost close to $14, which is pretty pricey for baked goods. But, their desserts are delicious and worth the price. I'd definitely recommend giving them a try. read more

Look what followed me home! Cookies!!! The gingerbread cookie is out of this world! Reminds me of gingerbread cookies from childhood. The merengue cookies melt in your mouth. My favorite is the pistachio, the one with the green icing. I can't describe the flavor, subtle, delicious. The pink is cake batter dough flavor. Meh. Not a fan. The brown one is gingerbread; strong flavor, yummy. Not sure of the filling with the one with sprinkles. Very mild, looks like there might be berries mixed in. Just realized that I never posted a review after coming here for the first time last Halloween-time! Here's what I wrote then. This place is a must-not-miss, total sleeper hit. How does this not have more Yelp reviews? Firstly, these desserts are super photographable. The first time I came was at Halloween time, and the dessert case had the cutest mini pumpkin pie with a marshmallow ghost on top that I couldn't resist. All seasons, their desserts are inventive and eye-catching. The owners are super sweet and welcoming, and the shop sells gift items from local artisans as well. Plus, they serve birthday cake-flavored coffee sometimes, as well as selling the blend in bags. How unique and on-brand is that? The macarons are huge and available in some unexpected flavors. This shop is just cute, and will definitely win you some social media points if you can resist taking a bite long enough to snap a pic. Definitely check this place out! Stopped for desserts for my vegan and non-vegan friends. Sugar Blossom hit it out of the park! I got a selection of delicacies including beautifully decorated vegan cupcakes (only three available, so got them all) and regular cupcake and chocolate peanut butter bars. All were fresh and sumptuous. Service is always friendly and the bakery is spotless. The cakes are beautiful. read more

I LOVE the sugar blossom cake shop! I have been here numerous times and they have done some cakes for my daughters parties as well and they are so good and look absolutely adorable! They respond very quickly to emails and when I pick it up it's always a smooth process. Every time I go in randomly to get some sweets they always have a variety and the cashier always knows about what is in the case. I HIGHLY recommend the espresso chocolate cookie. It looks too good to eat but it is probably my FAVORITE cookie ever! There macaroons are also always on point and have so many creative flavors and look so cute! Small shop, great macaroons! It's sort of odd that they have copied another local coffee shops window decor, candle idea and other little things. I noticed it the first time I came in and didn't think much of it until I saw the ornaments in the window. It's exactly like a shop in Camillus. Every time I come back to Liverpool I stop at this bakery when it's opened. The flourless chocolate cake is to die for. It's so rich and decadent, you don't need much to feel satisfied. They don't normally sell it in the front case, you have to order it a couple weeks in advance! Worth the wait! Everyone is always so nice and everything tastes delicious. My favorites are the cookie dough brownie bars, almond cupcakes, any of the macarons, and the dark hot espresso cookies. read more

My favorite treat are their raspberry linzer cookies, they're to die for! They always have a wide array of macarons with different flavors and designs, they're cupcakes are always uniquely flavored and delicious. This place is an absolute most. I come here all the time because they have such a great selection of desserts that you won't find at other bakeries. The macarons are a must try. I have converted many people to macarons by giving them one of theirs. I have never had a bad tasting dessert from here. They change their selection frequently so every day there is new things. They also do specialty orders including cakes and dessert packages. Follow them on Instagram for all the amazing food pictures. There is also warm drinks for purchase. My advice is to get there early in the day so you get the best pick. read more

Decided to grab some treats about an hour or so before they closed. The shop is really cute, clean, and inviting. The lady behind the counter was very friendly. We bought a variety of things to share--cupcakes, cookie sandwiches and a brownie. Everything was delicious and not overly sweet (though the brownie was quite decadent). They also sell some very cute greeting cards, earrings, magnets, etc. We ordered two drinks (Ube Espresso, Crème Brûlée latte), a flower pot mini cake (chocolate cake with raspberry filling in a decorative flower pot), a crème brûlée donut, and a spinach puff. The desserts were good, with the flower pot mini cake being our favorite. The chocolate cake was moist and the raspberry filling was balanced. We didn't love the flower frosting on top, but it was very pretty. The donut was very unique and filled to the brim with a fluffy cream - though we both thought it could've had a bit more flavor. The dough was perfect - soft and pillowy. The crème brûlée top made for a fun eating experience as the thin hard sugar had a satisfying crunch. The spinach puff was also delicious. Flaky pastry and cheesy filling - very comforting. The stars of the show were the drinks. The coffee was superb - balanced, smooth, and rich in flavor. While I didn't find the ube flavor to stand out, the ube espresso drink was still one of my favorite coffee drinks I've had. Ok, I do love the new technology where you can eat out and scan a QR code and pay that way. Or using a QR code for so many other things. I don't however like this set up. I think it's really weird. Cash is also an option here. I wanted to originally pay cash. I got 2 cookies and a brownie. Says "ring bell if you need change" I press the little button 3x and I can see people in the back. Not one person came out after I hit the button. That's booooo! It's like, why have it if you're going to ignore it?! Just close the doors to the public and have it strictly as an online business. I love love trying bakeries like this vs buying anything store bought. When I'm home, I look for places like this, Amish farms, Mennonite farms..any place that sells fresh baked cookies. They use something in their baked goods that made each one taste exactly the same...except you obviously could taste the chocolate on top of whatever they use, in the brownie. Would I recommend? I mean, maybe? If someone asked, I'd be like "there's a bakery in downtown Geneva, buuuut..." and then shrug my shoulders and give that crooked mouth look like... meh Now, maybe their cakes and whatever else they make are bomb af. I'll never know bc 1) I won't be going back lol and 2) I don't see myself ever buying a cake. Again, I see bakeries like this, it's a small business, I love supporting small businesses especially in a town where I grew up, went to high school in, etc...I see them and have to try.
