Well Sam Walton will never rest in peace with the way these idiots are running the ship these days. 99% of what we want to buy online has to be shipped not delivered. So they usually use FedEx. My simple item was delayed four times and four days only to come today ruined. Now Walmart thinks I should return the damaged item when it came in a torn up bag that can not be reused. So I keep the filthy new reading cushion and now share with the world what I complained to Walmart and FedEx about this poor service on both their customer service failure! We searched for new furniture for the home into which we just moved in Georgia and not wanting to spend a major amount chose to review offerings by Walmart, Wayfair and Amazon among other online sellers. We chose Walmart because of earlier experiences but have learned the hard way to reconsider as their customer service is so dysfunctional as to be one of the wors jokes you will encounter. Unlike shipments from other vendors, we immediately realized that the packaging looked like someone had opened and then carelessly re-taped it shut (see photos). Unlike other companies, the product was not protected by slim pieces of wood or other packing. On removing the multiple layers of packing tape on the exterior and the top layer of styrofoam we saw broken pieces of the product where someone had used heavy black market to annotate - probably pointing out the breaks in the product. We did not realize how dysfunctional Walmart has become until today in yet another phone call to find out why Walmart has not come to remove the heavy still-boxed product blocking my exit and driveway that none of the four people including the last one last night named "Muhammad" failed to bother to report the problem and misrepresented that they were making effort to remove and return the broken item. Therefore any promises of the seller who is also absolutely incompetent and dysfunctional from replacing the item - which we were told we take another 2 weeks - were null and void. I have been promised a call from the store manager or district manager 4 times now and they have yet to do so. It was great! I was greeted at the door by a splendidly amusing young man. We chatted about such and such, and then I "blew the popsicle stand," as they say. I was delighted to find out that not only were the items up to good quality, they were free! All you have to do is walk out of the store and hold your items, then a silly little beeping sound comes out of the doors. The high speed police chase after exiting the store was a thrilling adventure! I guess my price to pay was having a great time- and 48 hours in a confined cell. read more

Wow... this Walmart is right down from the corporate office... no wonder it looks soo good! The plant area was a humming with activity... they are getting ready for spring. The indoor plants looked good. And the area was well organized and clean. It is obvious this store cares for its plants. We encountered a merchandising individual here that was very helpful and kind. This has happened more than once at this particular store when doing an online pickup. The items I ordered that Did show low stock, I received. The items that had a full stock, my chicken & my bread, they said it was unavailable. I had to go into the store after checking on the app to see if it was available to purchase it myself. I tried calling to get the department Mgr and of course, they turned off the ringer, it quit ringing. I called 4 times to the online pickup dept & tried the operator. Apparently they no longer have customer service options. When the guy brought out our items, my husband asked if he does the picking, he said he doesn't, he just brings them to the customer. So the lazy people that does the picking refuses to get what I order. My order # 200012819304878, I'm hoping someone in charge will see this & fix this issue. I'm upset because this isn't the first time that they've had the product fully in stock & they're just lazy. My husband used to work for a neighborhood mkt, not in online pickup but he knew what would happen to the employee that does crappy work like this. Someone needs a refresh on how to do their job. The whole point of doing online is so we don't have to go in if we don't feel like it. Yet I still had to go in because somebody didn't want to do their job correctly. I will be making another trip next time we're in that area (the closet Walmart to our home) and I will be speaking to the dept Mgr and showing them proof. Fresh food is not fresh, brought in from China, Guatemala or Mexico and goes bad very quickly. You get what you pay for here. Only buy name brand boxed foods but check the dates as even those are left on the shelves too long. read more

The mismanager of the store Ryan refused to take a report in regard to a piece of metal that came lose from their shopping cart rack and hit a car in their parking lot or the fact the employees there refused to provide shelter when a tornado was barreling across their parking lot or about the malfunctioning of the online system. He was extremely rude and started yelling in a bullying and intimidating manner that he didn't have to listen to what I had to say and said he had not sympathy and it wasn't his problem then he slammed the phone down in my ear. The tow truck came & towed the car. At the hospital because of the situation. read more

This is the 'flagship' Wal-Mart, located across the street from the main Home Office (headquarters) building. It gets all the latest new designs and fancy layouts and updated signage. Most of the shoppers here work for Wal-Mart and so the place is always in tip-top condition. Never an out-of-stock, you'll never see the cart corrals full, rarely do you get a cart with a bust wheel. It is probably because this store's manager, Gary, has been an associate (that's what Wal-Mart calls their employees) for over 20 years. If you ever spot him working with one of his associates or talking to a shopper, you'll understand. This store deserves all five stars. read more

The Cullman AL store on 157 has a habit of marking the large bag of dogfood as out of stock, but when you go in it's stocked. After having left some reviews about it on that stores reviews, I decided to voice this complaint for others to see. It appears that store doesn't care if they have my business or not. Their staff is fairly friendly. I was new from California and tried to buy beer on Sunday. Cashier seemed scared to tell me she couldn't sell it to me so she called manager over. It was handled very well. I didn't realize no alcohol on Sunday's. Oops. However their produce lacks a lot. I tried to buy cherry tomatoes and there were little bugs inside the packages. And not just 1 or 2. A ton. Gross. And their produce doesn't always look fresh. They are a huge company. They can do better. read more

Can almost always find what I am looking for and if I can't I have noticed the customer service in this store is above average and associates are more than willing to help walk you to the right product and even give advice on products. One associate even gave me directions on how to remove waterspots on a vehicle without damaging the clear coat using the products available at Walmart. It was very helpful. read more

We purchased a Rival microwave oven (EM720CWA-PM). It works well, however, the glass turntable got broken. In calling the number on the front of the brochure, I was told that this particular microwave is a "Walmart exclusive" and, further, they do not have replacement parts and cannot recommend where to find them. The turntable is necessary in order for the unit to work properly. Now, it's useless. Will not purchase small kitchen appliances at Walmart again. BTW - it's not just this part, but parts to other appliances such as blenders. In fairness to the customer service manager, she was sympathetic to my cause and very personable, professional. read more

To whom it may concern, I am a frequent shopper at Walmart Supercenter in Bentonville, Ar. I just recently left the store feeling disappointed, upset, and most importantly nauseous. As I was picking out my chicken, the same chicken I buy every week, I noticed an awful smell. I then noticed on the bottom bin, there was a large piece of half rotten pork sitting in a puddle of its own blood and decay, thus contaminating all of the meat around it. I of course did not buy my chicken as the smell alone, turned my stomach. I then went to report this potentially dangerous incident to a customer service representative, Nate, who then told me, "Oh, I don't know what to do about that. Go tell the CSM, the ones with the radio." Outraged by his negligence, I left the store. Please know that I am not the type of person to ever complain, but rotting meat is dangerous and could potentially hospitalize someone. With this knowledge and the lack of concern from a person wearing a "Customer Service" badge, I feel I should inform you of this awful and dangerous experience. read more

This store has a HAIR Salon in it, which has CARELESS and inexperienced hair stylists. The girl at this place cut my 4 year old son's ear and tried to hide the bleeding cut in a towel, while I briefly turned my gaze to look at some of their hair products. Then she cut the other ear !!!!! I realized it as soon as saw tears rolling down quietly on poor kids cheeks, though he did not flinch or move a bit during his entire ordeal at the hands of this girl. The blood was so much that it soaked the white towel into red. She apologized, and seemed little scared at the sight of her doing. I was terribly shaken by this experience. So I did not complain about her to her supervisor. However, as an afterthought, I think I should let other people know about it, to save them from similar pain later. read more

This place does not pass the laugh test. There are shelves that are empty of products as in, chips, bread, crackers, cookies, laundry products, COFFEE, creamers, rarely is the frozen fish I eat in stock, the lemons were disgusting, the produce section with the lettuce, onions, & such looked like the place had been ransacked. This is not just one time, it is a regular thing with the store across from the home office. The aisles are cluttered, you have vendors & employees standing around yacking blocking the aisles. I wonder why the store is even there! At least half my grocery list on a weekly basis I cannot get at walmart because the items are not in stock! If you ask about the items, the warehouse it out. Funny how I can travel to another walmart, the stores are clean, aisles are not crowded, and rarely do you find an empty spot on a shelf. Now in all fairness, when the district supervisor was at the store, the shelves were stocked to the hilt, clean, no one standing around yacking. This store has all but done away with the competition in this area so they can do as they please. Since Gary Rains left this store it has gone down hill at a high rate of speed! And the only reason I gave this store a 1 star rating as it doesn't have a place for minus stars! read more

by far some of the worst phone customer service ever. The first rep did as i asked and cancelled by order and then transferred me to another rep to place a new order so the price can be matched. The new rep was awful, she first told me they don't price match, then read the notes and said o ok but now she can't do it until the 6th, i decided to place an order for something else and she told me they don't do phone orders....r u serious? why does the hold music tell me ever 30 seconds to have my card ready if you don't take phone orders. i told her 3 times what i wanted to order and she just didn't get it, she asked me, ME what my problem was and why i can't just do it online....well, how about i've been on hold for 45 minutes and she should be paid to do something productive, no? i asked for her manager and she put me back in the phone tree where after several attempts i had to actual trick the phone tree and go to something completely unrelated to my request to talk to someone, i'm pretty sure she blocked my number....so i'll start here with publicly bashing Walmart and probably not go to my local store as often as i used to just because of todays experience, MERRY CHRISTMAS! read more

A month before Christmas, I ordered 2 LG mobile phones from Walmart.com because none of their 4 local stores had that phone in stock, phones that Target advertised (but ran out of) at more than $100 UNDER the Walmart price. When I tried to take advantage of Walmart's much advertised Christmas Price Match Guarantee, the local store manager refused, saying she was "not going to give away two $100 (price match) gift cards." That's when I wrote to Walmart's corporate office in Bentonville (AR), enclosing proof of the Target sale price. That was more than a month ago, and I haven't heart anyything from Walmart. Ignoring a legitimate customer complaint is no way to run a business...even if your name is Walmart. Oh, I wasn't totally ignored. Thirty-five days after mailing my original my letter, Walmart did email me an automated customer satisfaction survey...but never bothered to respond to that original letter. read more

Okay so I called the Walmart and asked to speak to someone in plumbing, after numerous rings the front desk answered and I told the lady that no one had answered. She said let me transfer you to sporting goods they will help you. Sporting goods (male) answered the phone I advised him what the front desk had said. I then told him I needed an insulated Styrofoam cover for an outside water faucet. He said "DO WHAT"? I repeated it and he said I do not know what you are talking about! I told him to transfer me to the manager, he transferred me to the front desk, I asked them to transfer me to a manager, they transferred me to his office...no answer. Front desk picked up I said I want to speak to a manager after a while I spoke to a Mexican male who mumbled his words so poorly along with his heavy Hispanic accent I could not understand him. Finally I got it through to him what I wanted he asked me to wait. He laid the phone down and sent someone to see if they had the item. For the next 5 minutes the phone was dragged, dropped, and bounced like a basketball! He finally came back and said they did not have it but try back tomorrow. HMMMM I see business as usual at WALLYWORLD! read more

Ok, I have to share this story . . . Walmart advertised 32" Emerson TV at $98.00 for their first sale last night. My mom and dad (on social security & both in their 70's) got so excited to get this TV & fit the cost into their budget. They drove 50 miles round trip from Brookings Oregon to the nearest Walmart in Crescent City California . . . Walmart "guaranteed" there would be TV's for everyone within the first hour of the sale. When my parents got in line & stood there for a few hours to be sure they would get the TV they soon found out that Walmart had not told the whole truth about the sale, that in fact their "guarantee of a TV for all in the first hour" turned out to be false advertising, or shady at best, depending on your outlook . . . they were given a bracelet, then given a voucher, then given paperwork to fill out, to then find out they had to go back home, go to walmart.com, enter their voucher code, purchase the TV, then "go back to the Crescent City Walmart to pick up their TV, additionally they were told they would have their TV by or before Christmas!!!! When my Dad complained the Walmart employee responded "That's just the way it is" . . . my Dad did exactly what I would have done, gave them their voucher back & told them to stick it where the sun doesn't shine. I wonder how many people in this country were duped by Walmart (due to their shady ad) to believe they would show up early to get their TV and be able to go home with it!!!!! To make it worse Dad even called corporate Walmart and they responded the same, basically "too bad so sad but that's the way it is' & then he left the story on Walmart corporate facebook page & interestingly enough it's no where to be found. So I am posting this on my page hope it will go viral, & sending out the information to all news stations . . . I do not intend for this sleezy tactic by Walmart to go un-noticed! read more
