During this pandemic we were not comfortable going in stores to do groceries. So one of friend told me about Walmart's curbside pick up option. So I got the Walmart app and created my first order for curbside pick up. It is a very streamlined process. You get same deals and prices online. You have to meet the minimum $35 order. I added everything in cart and selected the pick up date and time slot. I went to this location and parked in allotted parking slot, checked in online through app. One of the employee brought my stuff outside and kept them in my car's trunk after verifying my details. It was easy and quick pick up. Even all the fruits and vegetables were fresh. I kept ordering curbside pick up from this location for 4-5 weeks, and then wait time for pick up went up and even the quality of fruits and vegetables was not same like before. However when I called customer service, they gave me refund for the bad stuff. Every time after that something used to be missing or bad. I think more and more people started ordering from this location and that was causing long wait and even quality of fruits and vegetables was not same. So I started doing curbside pick at a different Walmart location. They also had long wait, however they always provide good quality. I will write a different review for that location. This is a good curbside pick up option given by Walmart and I will recommend everyone to try it. read more

Walmart - Department Stores Near Me - Brampton, Ontario

Decided to cave in and start shopping at this location as it is closest to my house. I guess I had given up on the location at Main & Bovaird as the cashiers really make my shopping experience horrendous. No doubt though, I do have some things I don't like about this place. First of all, you need to get more cart shacks in your parking lot. You have two for the whole parking lot? I mean, I could totally see why people just leave them everywhere. People should still be putting them away as the way they are left could definitely result in the damaging of vehicles that are parked. I'm always worried when I come here that someone will leave one near my vehicle and just the slight piece of wind could result in my vehicle being hit. Secondly, your shelves are not consistently stocked. Every time I come in, which is once a week, I cannot find everything on my list as it is not stocked. Lots of items missing. As a mother of three, this is annoying and I'm just too busy to drive to different locations. Please look into stocking up as some people do like to come in in the mornings to do their grocery shopping. Thirdly, their is a lot of items that have false prices advertised. This can be super annoying!! I do-not want to go back after I have reached check out and ready to leave. For the pros of this place; cashiers are more friendly and not as annoying with price match. I do not enjoy my phone being touched. If you study the merchandise you can easily see and decipher that it is legitimate match. Place is also not super busy. Even on a Saturday at 11 it is quiet which I very much enjoy! Now the produce here is very good which is a pleasant surprise as I was never able to buy produce at the Main and 410 location. I wouldn't suggest NOT buying the tomatoes though, as they are mushy and lack flavour. This does save me a lot of money from then going to Fortinos for produce. Literally the WORST Walmart. Avoid at all costs if you can. I bought a few things with missing pieces/parts and went back the return but the return line was longer than the checkout line. Always a big lineup even the self check out is packed. Shelves are generally empty, and the staff are pretty rude. read more

Everything is good about this Walmart except they have very crappy customer service. I called to find out about price matching and a woman who didn't give her name from customer service department hurriedly get off the phone without answering my questions properly. She was rushing to say goodbye and advised me to go to another store instead of price matching with them. I didn't want to waste my time by going there without understanding their price matching system. That's why I give them a call first. They need trained and better supportive customer service rep., the manager seriously needs to look into this. read more

This WalMart is somewhat new in the area and it hasn't been hit by the large influx of shoppers on the weekend. Go there while you can!! BTW there is a Tim's and a McD as well in store. It is a supercenter concept with almost everything that you need. The only thing it does not have is a Mr Lube tire center and the sporting goods section is quite small. Other than that it is your typical cookie cutter Walmart. Although the service between stores varies greatly. I was in a Wal Mart recently and had a hell of time trying to price match an item. After some frustration I left that WalMart and went to this one and it took no effort. read more

I got caught out later than expected and any restaurant worth eating at was closed. Yelp can't find grocery stores very well, but it said this Wal-Mart was open until 11 pm on an early weekday! The food selection was good, so I ate like the prince of Brampton that night. read more

Date visited: Friday August 8 2017 To start off if I could give no stars I would kill to do so. During the afternoon me and my bro went to the electronics department to browse what they sell. That was when a fat old woman with glasses that works in the department came up to use while we were looking at the discounted games and told us that we can't play them because we aren't mature enough like she had nothing better to do. After 20 minutes of walking around they apartment she told us to "get out if your are not going to buy anything" as if we were fooling around. She was so lucky that I just said okay and we walked a away. If I was really bothered in which I now feel like doing I would have asked her to speak to the manger as this was very unprofessional and nasty of her. Looks like you guys have lost a customer, won't be coming back anytime soon. read more

we placed grocery order 2 weeks back and was suppose to get it delivered by April 15th. received all the fancy emails from Walmart that your order has been shipped and will be delivered shortly. nothing came and when you try to call the store or customer service number they will never answer and if they do they won't bother listening to you that what happen they will just say you will get refund if you didn't get the delivery. worst place to trust and place grocery orders. and we received update that order was never picked up and still sitting in the store. read more

I like this Walmart as it doesn't seem as busy as other Walmarts in the area. I do a lot of price matching which really helps the budget. One thing that annoys me are the cashiers who hardsell the Walmart credit card, even after I would say "no, thanks", some cashiers keep on persisting, I do not like this and I don't notice this aggressive hardsell at other Walmarts, it must be commission based. read more

This is probably the worst Walmart, in the GTA. They have no clue how to address concerns regarding the Scanning Code of Practice. Even when the label was clearly marked incorrectly BEHIND A LOCKED DISPLAY they refused to honour the Scanning Code of Practice. Instead they let me wait almost an hour to speak to a Manager called Maha who NEVER came and then I hear from the electronics cashier that this is regular behaviour from her. Says a lot when your own employees are gossiping about the poor management skills to customers. After an hour of waiting one of the managers came to tell me that Maha does not want to see me and I was given a phone number for the Philippines. What type of retail place employs so called MANAGERS that don't understand Retail Canada's policy that Walmart voluntarily agreed to comply with? After a month of calling and emailing I have still not heard back from anyone in the store. Maha is incompetent in doing her job and should probably be demoted for her lack of knowledge on Retail Policies and lack of knowledge in regards to Customer Service. The information I was providing to them was readily available on Retail Canada's website and on Walmart's website. On top of me giving them the correct information as per the website they continued to lie about what the policy says and when I kept correcting them they eventually gave up on lying and just shut me out from any form of communication. This is unacceptable in the 21st century when lies are so easily caught using the Internet. This store is just going down hill if I'm being honest. Almost everyone I know has stopped or limited their time spent inside of this Walmart because when you eventually find someone that speaks English you are left detailing with incompetence. Avoid this Walmart if possible. It's very messy, the staff is not friendly. Product boxes in certain areas were opened, so one isn't sure if it contained all the parts in the box. My little ones need gloves, but everything was on the floor or all over the place. My daughter didn't even want to look for gloves and she loves Walmart. Try a different location it will be more enjoyable. read more

I will NEVER order or shop at this location again. I am completely disgusted in the way this store is working during the pandemic. They have been canelling orders without notice. Today i had a delivery scheuled for 7-8PM and my delivery driver sat there for an hour and half waiting for my order only to be told that it would not be ready tonight. HE then called me to tell me I would not be getting my order. WALMART HAS NOT REACHED OUT TO CANCEL MY ORDER OR UPDATE ME THAT MY DELIVERY IS NOT ON ITS WAY and it is now 8:30PM. I am appalled that during this time their customer service still lacks the skills of contacting customers for updates or even answering their phones. My family and I have been waiting a week and a half for this order and now we will not get it. My diabetic mother now has to go out and shop for her groceries when we should have received our order tonight. What i am most disappointed in is that fact that there are many many reviews about them cancelling orders without notice or even cancelling them and not even reaching out to the customer and no one has done anything about it. read more
