My thoughts are if it's been unavailable for almost a year, why give it as an option? I would've have been ok with the whole process if the cashier wasn't speaking in a nasty tone. Customer Service: The staff are usually friendly and welcoming. The return/exchange area is located on the left side of the store, so if you need to do returns/exchanges or pick up online orders, I recommend parking on the left side of the store. The right side of the store has the food & makeup section. The left side of the store has the sports, electronics, & Bulleye's Playground ($1+ section). Bathroom: The bathroom is located in the front of the store. Every time I've gone to this Target, the bathroom is always clean and smells like lemon. I'm not sure how frequent they clean the bathrooms, but I love it. Merchandise: This Target location has good inventory. There's almost a clearance section in every section of the store. The clearance section has a yellow sign that says "Clearance" so you can't miss them. The clearance is hit or miss. I've found some good clothing on clearance for the most part. Overall Experience: Overall, I always have a good shopping experience at Target. The staff are usually friendly, good inventory, & great deals every so often. Oscar was the fitting room attendant and he was so pleasant and helpful. The jackets were kind of puffy and clumsy and he helped me get them to the room. I ended up with a Kenneth Cole jacket for $59.99 and a Calvin Klein quilted vest for $39.99. I even managed to find a pair of Adidas jogging shoes that fit for $49.99. Although there was a line in check out, it moved swiftly. They seemed to have all the cash registers open to accommodate the customers. My cashier, Jose, was cheerful and efficient. He did a real nice job of bagging my purchases. I have shopped or stopped (not all visits end up with purchases :) a few times each year since this store opened a few years ago. This store has always been clean and orderly at the times that I have been there. The staff members that I have encountered have always been pleasant and helpful. This store might not offer quite as much as some others, but if your timing is right you can find some pretty nice items for some pretty reasonable prices. Even when I don't find what I came in the store to find, I always feel good in this store. This store just makes me feel happy!

However, she won't completely ditch the discount stores because there are several advantages when shopping at Maxx or a similar store like this: 1) a massive selection of handbags and shoes: I prefer a brand-new handbag or an unworn pair of shoes. I've realized that half of my handbags from my past "compulsive" shopping addiction weren't functional for my city life. I would rather invest on a handbag, which would cost $100 to $150, but it will last a long time. Shopping at Maxx for handbags is easy-breezy, without being bothered by sales associates. For the shoes, I haven't brought a pair of shoes from a thrift store, yet I've purchased many pairs from Maxx and they last. 2) are you a fan of Michael Kors? If you are, I saw lots of MK merchandise in this location. 3) organic shampoo, shower gel, facial wash, and hand soap: I haven't brought a drug store brand for some time. My trick is to convert my credit card reward into Maxx gift cards, so my "reimbursements" have been used for this category. This T.J. Maxx is very close to the CTA Kedzie Orange Line station. If you're in the south-side area out and about, hit it up when you get a chance.

Almost entire stores are now 70% vacant, and no food court I used to live in Indiana and If I go to Midway Airport, I stopped by that mall quick. Now I live 15 minutes from this mall, closest mall to my house, and I only come there for AMC, JCPenney and Bath & Body Works. After Carson's closed in 2018, more store started leaving. Foot Locker leaving next year. I mostly go to Chicago Ridge, Orland Square Mall, North Riverside Park Mall, Oakbrook Center, Yorktown Center, Woodfield Mall, Old Orchard Mall, and Harlem Irving Plaza.

I went back and got more a few days later. They also had these little small snack size bags of a pretzel snack that had a barbecue mustard flavor to it and those were so good. They're only $.25 a bag. I went back and got more of those as well but they don't last long once the items are cleared out they're gone. It's a clearance store.
