Avoid this location if possible! I did an online pickup order. Parked in pickup but sign said no longer available. I went to customer service asked for pickup order line and was directed to the end of a long line that was doing returns. Explained I was doing a pickup and she stated with an attitude it's one line. Asked for a manger. He came but was dismissive. He stated that they haven't had pickup services in almost a year. No apology for the misunderstanding just spoke matter of factly. My thoughts are if it's been unavailable for almost a year, why give it as an option? I would've have been ok with the whole process if the cashier wasn't speaking in a nasty tone. Love the 20% or 30% off coupons. Shop online and pick up same day in the store. Much more options online and more sizes. Drop off service for Amazon returns is very convenient. One of my favorite places. If you visit during pandemic time, park nearest the left set of doors. All foot traffic only enters and leaves the left set of doors. Amazon returns are stationed in the rear center of the store (a bit of a walk). The returns area is by the no no right door entrance. So you must do some walking to get over there too. Fair enough. Get that exercise. During pandemic time, I've noticed a LOT of things went on clearance. I hope they survive. read more

I love Kohls but it appears they fired the buyer and hired someone else. Nothing but clothing 18-25 yrs baggy knits, thermal everything, ski-like wear and not one single rack of anything you would wear to work or be caught in I walked around looking as I thought maybe they moved departments. It was awful and the class has left Kohls --one of the last in a long line of department stores that were classy. There was no line on a Saturday and I have never seen that before. No one really shopping in there. I would not even have bought that stuff as a gift. Lingerie, shoes, mens and kids still nice, no jewelry counter anymore It is not just here but in Minnesota as well. I have such a hatred for this store. The games they play with the prices there drive me nuts. Some coupons work, on some things, and not other things, or not during a full moon, or not on clearance, etc. Their ploy is to jack up prices to a ridiculous amount (Say 89.99 for a windbreaker) and then "take 50% off" to get to 44.99 thinking you have a deal. When that same jacket goes for 35.99 everywhere else. Utter sham and they do it ALL THE TIME. Plus, my god if you have a kid in a stroller in that store, you are not getting down any aisles. It improved thanks to Covid, but they have slowly been throwing more crap in their middle walkways again. She replied, "I've worked for other large department stores like Walmart and JC Penney, but I didn't like them. Here at Kohl's, everyone knows my name. I am not just a number. I went to Kohl's in Burbank on 11/22/22, Tuesday around 6:00pm. I went to the pick-up department in the front of the store. The African American manager was helping me and had to go do something else. She instructed the Hispanic or Caucasian young lady to help me. But the young lady did not help me instead she calls the white lady in line and left me standing there. I did not receive any help that day. I felt disrespected. This was such a racist judgment that this young lady did. African American spend in Kohl's stores all the time. Maybe we should stop because some of your workers do not want to respect us. I will not put up with that type of behavior. If an African American was to act in such a matter, we would be reprimanded right away or fired. I will not tolerate this kind of behavior. Upgrade! This Kohl's has had a recent remodel and it is lookin good! I'm a total Kohl's slut and bop around from location to location. Most recently, this location was very blah. I am a fan of Kohl's. I think they have good sales, I think they have good prices; I think the quality of their products is solid. I find their customer service to be average to better. There always seems to be enough registers opened, so you are not waiting in line for a long time. I've bought kitchen wear, bedding, men's-women's-children's clothes. I've bought numerous pairs of shoes. I love their purses - I love the Vera Wang collection. They have a good selection of costume jewelry. Lastly, they have a good clearance section - in all of their departments. You can always find something at 80-90% off. read more

Big fan of Kohls and this one is nicely kept. The employee's are nice and fun to be around, especially the early crew! The only downside is that this one has the return and pick up section in the back corner. The restrooms are luckily back there as well and they have the little potty in the family bathroom. However, the faucet wasn't working. So pluses and minuses lol. There's not really a lot of signage directing you either. read more

This Kohl's location has store hours posted as 10am -10pm. I visited Kohls on a Monday evening at 9pm. To my Surprize many of the stores lights were already turned OFF!! I was there 5 minutes and they continued to shut more lights off! When I went to the customer service desk to ask about their closing early I was reassured they were open until 10pm. There was a male employee sitting on the end of a checkout counter dangling his feet and flirting very loudly with the female employees. The checkout girls were at what was sounding like a PICNIC! I'm surprised this location hasn't been reviewed yet. I have never had a problem here! I visit this Kohl's location the most, and I leave happy every time. Of course my Kohl's card is a blessing and a curse. I'm constantly receiving their coupon offers in the mail, but when I get hit with that 30% code, I'm practically obligated to buy something. Because you have to try REALLY hard to purchase something here at full price. About 99% of the time they have the items that I want, and when they don't there is always the kiosk for ordering - and they ship free to your house. And the customer service desk is impeccable. Returning items is super easy, and exchanges will be done in two seconds if you have a Kohl's charge. And don't forget to browse the clearance racks - you'll walk out feeling like a kleptomaniac. read more

I went to this location... I wanted to return my purchase item and use my ten dollars cash that I had forgotten to use...ro repurchase the items and use the 10. Well , the lady at customer service was being very lazy and said I would have to charge you. $ 2.00 if you want to do that .I was like really smh I have worked in retail before and yest it can be done...I was in a good mood and decided since I live near a nicer friendly kohls I'd just do the transaction at the store near me. I like Kohl's because they have good clearance sales and they give Kohl's cash. This store is nicer than I thought it would be and is well stocked. The reason I'm giving it three starts is because the parking lot is seriously a nightmare. I'm not exaggerating when I saw the pot holes are the size of kiddie pools. It's actually really dangerous. I went to make a return on a house appliance. The man helping me, Omar was not at all helpful. He asked me for my original form of payment,since I did not have a receipt. I provided my cc. He said the item which i was returning was not showing up and so he made me go fetch another one from the store. Well I went looking for one only to discover they did not have that item in stock. He said he could not help me. He said if I looked it up on my phone he could use the number from it. Well I said I did not have my phone and he said there was nothing he could do. I suggested I looked it up in the kiosk machines and he said sure because he was not allowed to use his phone in the store, even though I could see it sticking out of his back pocket. The kiosk machine gave me the sku number of the item, which did not help him at all. I ended having to leave to the khols in Ridge because they had the item in stock and this cynical jerk behind the register did not know how to do his job correctly. Of course at ridge khols the rep instantly looked up the item with my original item. I did not have to fetch one from the store at all. Made my exchange no problem. Ugh this place! I tell myself that I will drive the extra 10 minutes to go to Chicago Ridge or Countryside, but it's just so close to my house. This store has to be the worst. The employees are always grumpy and the managers are jerks! They act like its a hassle to help you, the customer, the reason they are in business in the first place! Clothes are always off the hangers or on the floor. Don't even get me started on the disaster area they call the fitting room. It's sad that I can't shop in my own neighborhood. read more

i used like this store until my last experience. myself and two others was pulled into the "security office" by 3 cops. for "shoplifting" a bag of skittles. When I had absolutely no part in. The 3 officers made me file out paperwork and banned us from the store. They mean shoplifting by "eating skittles first without paying when we were going to pay for them as we leave". The funny thing is that they assumed we "shoplifted" but we never left the store so that is technically not shoplifting. I hope this does not go on my record. They didn't have many options that I actually liked & I couldn't decide if I wanted an item or not so I walked around a little & checked out some other things. I came back to the section picked up a hat that I was contemplating on buying for my bf and walked over to the scarf area. Decided I wanted to go to the mall to see what they had. Long story short I put the hat down & walk out of the store where the security or whoever he was ran out & accused me of stealing the hat. They wanted me to sign something. I was at Kohl's in Burbank, Illinois 4/23/2015. The lines were very long and slow. I asked the female employee in jewelry if she could ring me up. She rudely asked,, " Do you have jewelry?" I said, No, but the lines are long and they need your help." She then very angrily said' " I have to take the next customer." I said, "Okay ever little bit counts." I yelled for the next person to come to jewelry. Then Marcella started yelling at me I don't need your help. I told her do not yell at me because you are at work but don't want to work. She continued to yell and be very rude in front of a store filled with customers and the manager never came over and address her horrible attitude. Marcella needs to be fired.
