I tried to limp it home but the battery was too weak to make it back, my wife and granddaughter were with me and we would all need to ride in the rollback to get back home together. The dispatcher made sure they had a rollback available to accommodate all of us and arrived very quickly, Jay was our driver and did an excellent job loading our family mini van paying attention to every detail without me even having to ask. Get your cokes, candy, chips and gas here before heading to the races. Drinks and food you buy here can save you money at Brainerd Optimist Club race track.

After filling up for a slightly higher price than in Tennessee, I went into the building to buy a drink. Prices were actually reasonable and I bought some tea. I had a pleasant talk with the clerk whose husband recently died of cancer, something too close to my experience last year with my own mum, so it was good to talk to her. Hang in there, Gerry!
