I asked them how much I had left on my brakes. They told me that I still had a little bit of time left before I would have to get new ones put on. I took my truck a week later to someone else and they let me see what my brakes looked like and come to find out Taylor Tires let me drive my truck without any brakes on the back and I had no brakes on passenger side. So the only brakes that I had was on drivers side and they were very very thin. How can you allow someone to drive off in their vehicle without any brakes. I could have been killed or injured. And I could have killed someone or injured someone if I had hit them. How can they sleep at night knowing that they did this. So please do not take your vehicle to this place for anything cos they will lie to you. I have to rate them so I can put my review on here but they dont even deserve 1 star

We called them Monday afternoon and was able to schedule an appointment for first thing Tuesday morning. They called us mid-day Tuesday with the prognosis and gave us a high and low estimate before tearing into the system. We gave them the go-ahead. Wednesday morning, they called and said we could come pick up our vehicle and that we had the best case scenario and price was even lower than the original estimate. I would consider exploring other options…read more Upon having our transmission rebuilt and rear main seal replaced by Gears we had an immediate oil leak from rear main seal (approximately 1 quart every 2 hours). Gears Transmission indicated they were not obligated to warranty rear main seal leak (in which they replaced). After 4 weeks of constant calls, broken promises to remedy, paying for repairs out of my pocket and pursuing legal action for reimbursement I finally received reimbursement for warranty work. To make matters worse, a broken bolt was discovered from seal install, meaning they broke a bolt and attempted to hide during installation. In addition, a loose bolt in transmission bell housing was also found. During transmission repair and warranty claim, Gears was horrible about providing updates; they only called/ returned our calls two times over this 9-week process. Granted, we travelled cross country day after receiving truck with rebuilt transmission and Gears had to use another shop to perform warranty repairs; however we had to take truck to 2 different shops of their choice so they could obtain multiple quotes and we ended up paying for repairs out of pocket after they reneged on paying their bill to vendor of their choice. Only after beginning legal proceedings did I receive reimbursement for main seal replacement.

So we checked our receipt or online receipt to make sure the name was right it was we gave them the order number they finally found our pizza and she was like oh it'll be a few more minutes ended up being 20 more minutes after we got there and they had 30 minutes before that to get the pizza ready and done so it took them almost an hour to get our pizza and finally when they motion for us to come in to get the pizza it was cold and hardly had any cheese on it it was a margarita pizza. The first time two weeks ago when we got pizza from there it was good but the staff was still not very knowledgeable and had problems finding our food so all in all the staff is the problem it seems like they're lazy , past two times we've gone in they're just standing around not doing a thing and nobody wanted to come greet us. Pizza today was cold and burnt even though they supposedly just got it out of the oven . March 14 2026 this was at Chattanooga Tn. St Hamilton place. It could be a good place just need better staff.

Inside of the store is your standard RaceTrac with all the offerings you are accustomed to from the beer cooler, hotdogs, pizzas, coffee, drinks, snacks, etc... Service was meh honestly. The two associates were not very friendly and oddly kept to themselves, even when ringing out customers. Cleanliness could use some focus as well, as the restrooms were a bit rough. Overall, I'm a fan of RaceTrac's and wouldn't mind stopping back by this location again.
