The owner is a rude unprofessional aggressive jerk. We have used Veteran Compost for a few years…read more minor issues here and there with not getting our bins picked up. I called this morning to tell the company our bin wasn't picked up last week and hadn't been picked up this week. checking if we were skipped, or if they were still coming today. The aggressive owner immediately was defensive and rude to me, telling me to give him a break and he had a lot of houses to manage, telling me it's only 9:30, as if did t know what time it was. I understand the stresses of work and managing a company, I wanted to give him a heads up our house was skipped last week and potentially this week too. He then rudely said he will cancel our service because he doesn't need to deal with people like me, and then he hung up on me. Our county offers FREE composting. We continued to use this service because we wanted to support a veteran run business. This man was rude, unprofessional, and aggressive. I'm actually upset we have been paying him for so many years now knowing what a jerk he is. If this is the way he treats his loyal customers, I can't even imagine how he treats his employees.

As a customer, I shouldn't be the one initiating improved business operations. In addition, they have failed to provide me with the bag of compost customers are suppose to receive after a couple of emails. Poor service, poor communication and lack of responsibility for agreed upon services...it's a 1 star for my experience.

I previously purchased topsoil from Country Garden Center which was great but unfortunately they are now out of business so I decided to buy from Rush, bad idea. I purchased just a 1/2 yard from Rush of their so called screened topsoil to fill in some low spots in my yard. After applying this stuff I think I made my yard worse. I've spent hours pulling rocks out of this junk and I'm sure I'm going to be spending quite a few hours more. No way grass could grow in this stuff. I've provided photos, keep in mind this is just from 1/2 yard. The photos of the stones in the bucket are prior to the photos of the stones on the ground, so what you see on the ground is after filling half of the bucket. I'm sure that bucket will be more than full when I'm all done. There is absolutely be no way that there should be this many stones in a half a yard of so-called topsoil. They must've gotten this stuff from a gravel pit. You wouldn't expect this many stones in 5 yards of topsoil. What a waste of time, money and effort. I would have given them zero stars if I could have.

My wife and I paid the full price for a brand-new model, and while the delivery fee was waived as a sign of good faith, the freezer we received had clearly been diverted from another store. It turned out to be a display model, not new, and it arrived scuffed and slightly damaged. It's one thing to make a mistake; it's another to repeat it. This entire process has wasted both my time and my wife's. She even had to go back to the store in person and act more forcefully than she should have needed to, just to get basic service. The store manager responded as one might expect a corporate tool, proving difficult to reason with. It's not difficult to see where the shift managers get it. It took several individuals before someone finally took ownership of the situation. Thankfully, one decent manager stepped up, had the staff retrieve the display unit, and replaced it with a new one in the original box; something that could have easily been done on day one. Instead of resolving the issue from the start, the management offered explanations and justifications, without taking a moment to see the situation from the customer's point of view. For a store with a 3.5-star rating, I would have hoped for more accountability and care. Sadly, this experience has convinced me that this will be our last purchase from Home Depot.

We chose this tall elegant designer's arrangement and I asked Lisa Fiore to choose red, white, and blue flowers, because the deceased had been in the army and had also been a police officer after serving in the army, and we wanted to commemorate his commitment to service, and when I called I shared that I was fine with spending over the $150.00 price to include red roses, and no carnations or baby's breath, and to charge separately for the tax and delivery charge, along with adding gratuity. In this arrangement, the serenity of the color blue and the purity of intention symbolized by white let our family know that we were sending our calm strength to them during these difficult times. Beautiful blooms included blue delphinium, white lilies, and alstroemeria, along with red roses, eucalyptus, limonium, and more, beautifully arranged in a dazzling cobalt blue vase. Mark help me design my pond, which contains a large brick planter/bog and waterfall with a large lower pond. Our water is not treated, I've never added anything to treat it it is 100% natural filtration. The new store is great, with an enhanced selection. I miss Jack as we always visited and talked about our fish and trains. This year we added a second pond to give our trains something to cross over with our new bridges. Thanks as always for the great service. If you are reading the bad review below, I have to ask myself. How far does the guy from California drive to go shopping for his ponds? 2800 Miles.
