Staff is always friendly. Some items you can find cheaper at Walmart but meats, dairy and produce are always less expensive here as well as many other items. They also have a case lot sale every year which is usually outside under a tent on retiree day.

She is always thoughtful , kind, helpful and always advises if I do not use my points by a certain date if a applicable, I could receive a five dollar coupon to be used within two weeks and or items I could receive a discount on. My father was a supermarker manager in the 60s for Safeway and then Finest. in the 70s, he was a district manager for Finest. Gina exemplifies "Each" day, what an organization desires their team members to be. I grew up in the supermarket world working with my dad in my teenage years. I certainly know what life is working in the supermarket environment. I shop twice a week at Weis, and seeing her and having her check me out Is one of the highlights of my week. They only allow 15 items or less on self checkouts and many times the self checkouts are sitting idol with no one using them. Meantime the lines at the regular checkouts are long. Would it hurt to allow people a little over the 15 items to use the self checkout. More people working at the deli counter and that old grouch that was there is no longer cutting cold cuts. You do have to watch them because I found on several occasions the items in my order are mismarked with the wrong item.

Because of that, several items I intended to purchase were suddenly unavailable and I was told they couldn't fulfill my full order. What made the experience worse was how dismissive and rude the interaction felt when I tried to ask about it. If customers are given a shopping deadline, the store should honor that time instead of starting orders hours early and then blaming the customer for missing items. It completely defeats the purpose of offering online ordering convenience. Very disappointing experience and poor customer service.

Plus when I had to return an item, the cashier, (this crabby lady) got all nasty and annoyed about it. Also, they have Four Checkouts. Only ONE is opened all the time. They got like 20 people standing in line, all with only like 2 items. Meanwhile, these lazy other cashiers, you just sorta see them walking around the place, not really doing anything. And none come to open a second checkout unless their boss says so. I love Dollar Tree, but I REALLY hope this isn't the staff they are keeping. Because they have BAD attitudes.

During the height of Covid I could not find any PPE Such as sanitizer Wipes spray. The staff there knew I work at the army depot and mentioned I deal with many military families and am trying to protect myself. They made up a bunch of needed items for me.
