It is as close to lunch time, so I went with the lunch special, where I chose 2 fresh slices of pepperoni and sausage pizza, and a drink for 9 bucks! It's a pretty good deal! They got my order ready to go pretty quickly, and I took it to my car, since the place is small and they have no dine in seating. While I was waiting, a lady came in and picked up an enormous pizza, bigger than you'll find at any chain restaurant. It was so large, she had to put the seats down in the back of her SUV to fit it in the hatch. But enough about that. Let's get to the main event! That pizza was pretty amazing! The crust was golden and crispy on the outside, yet soft and pillowy on the inside. The sauce, which I believe is made in house, was sufficiently tangy and tasted very fresh. The pepperoni was cooked crisp and wasn't overly greasy and the sausage had a great, robust flavor that was the star of the show. This is everything I love about a great pizza, and it's local, so that's just one more praise to sing about it! I paired it with a bottle of Coke, which absolutely was perfect with this pizza. So if you're out in West Mobile, this little place is worth a stop. Grab a slice, or a pie for the entire family. It does not disappoint. They also have pasta on their menu, which gives me a reason to go back and try something else!

A group of wannabe gangbangers tried to assault my sister and I. They snickered and tried to hurry and pay for their stuff quickly as we told on them. One employee seemed concerned and whom I believe is the manager, acted like he wasn't concerned too much. Really? 5 guys trying to assault two girls isn't much concern? Couldn't watch the cameras and they allowed them to roam free. Probably knows them. Calling the cops tomorrow if nothing gets done. Terrible establishment anyways. Looks like a lock down on the inside from what seems like too much crime and heighten employees. Wish someone would've been watching when that happened. She greeted us when we arrived in her section, asked if she could help, helped us checkout and was converstional and friendly. I told her she was the first person in the store to utter a single word to us despite us visiting sunglasses, perfume, clothing and bedding areas prior to reaching her area. We encountered many employees that looked down while we were in talking distance. Why are stores like this dissapearing, hmm, look no further than what we experienced here. Shameful, since we can buy this on the internet. Today we purchased a Cuisinart toaster, that did not work when we got home. We packed it back up amd came back to the store and assumed we would go to customer service to return the toaster, nope. Apparently, customer service does not do returns, maybe this department should be named something else. After waiting for the person in the back room packing something who is clearly not paying any attention or aware of us waiting at the counter in customer service. When she finally looked at the counter, she came to help us, another girl showed up and said you have to go back to where you bought this, I explained be bought it here at Dillards. No, you need to go back to the department. Good grief. So we went back to the department where Kayley was still smiling, she gladly helped us again. In Georgia, this was my go to store for many things throughout the year. I will buy from the internet rather than come back in this store again. Why bother to have a store with so many workers if you can only point to one shining star. The mall has many empty stores, wonder why? Look no further than Dillard's to get the answer. Malls are over. I never need something today, I can wait if this is the level of service I receive.

I was talking on the phone(not loud or obnoxious, moreso listening than talking) browsing the wonderful makeup sale, there were so many items for sale so I may have lingered in makeup section for a few minutes. I noticed a male walk up behind me, he was browsing items so I ignored him. He accidentally dropped something that rolled by my leg. I moved so that he could walk by, he then wandered down the aisle acting as though he was checking price tags. I thought to myself, this is awkward, surely I am not being followed by a stranger. I grabbed my selections then walked over to the stationery aisle, the man followed me as I browsed searching for envelopes and pencils. I turned around to see what he was doing, he immediately acted as though he was checking tags again. I let the person on the phone know that I think that I am being followed. I immediately walked over to the feminine products aisle to see if he could possibly be searching for lady products as well lol. I grabbed a few items, checked my surroundings then made my way to the cash register to inform staff that I there was a man following me. I waited to speak with the manager to describe the white male in jeans and a green top. The manager assured me that this was not a staff member if he wasn't wearing a Walgreens badge. I was put off by this as I am a woman of color and I have heard stories of people being followed around by loss prevention. I am a paying customer and I have given no one any indication that there is a reason to watch me. I only had my phone and my wallet, no bags or big purses. The manager again assured me that this is an isolated incident and he apologized. He stated he would check on it as it was concerning to him as well. My concern is that if there are strangers following women around, surveillance should be able to monitor this. My other concern, and I hope that I am wrong is that I was singled out. I will continue to shop at this location as it is convenient to me as I live in West Mobile, however if there are persisting issues and I find that this was not a random incident. I will escalate my complaints directly to Walgreens corporate offices.

It's in my neighborhood! The process was smooth, handled efficiently, and in a matter of literal seconds I was on my merry way-- to shop (when I should have left the store)! Judge not. lol All in all, a great Kohl's visit in the books!
