Disgraceful Customer Service, instead of cooperative agents I received excuse makers in why I can't receive a refund nor exchange because a new rule of 15 days to return your item. Which is a cover up for denial of service. I suggest stop giving Walmart your Money immediately. read more

Run. Run away. I go to Prices Corner, Elkton and even New Jersey before I go to this Walmart despite it being less than 5 min from me Unsafe parking lot, useless employees, no more than 4 registers open on any given day despite lines halfway through the store, not a single person that works here seems to have a sense of pride in their work ethic or any respect for anyone. I'd pay tax, time, more money and tolls before I ever go to this place again. I've given it multiple shots, but nothing ever changes. It rotates Managers like crazy- it must be where they send everyone they want to fire but don't want to pay unemployment so they send them here so they just quit or give up. I usually don't write negative reviews but this had to be said. No management or corporate will listen or change anything about this store so I guess it's by word of mouth we need to warn everyone even though it only takes one trip for one to realize they have made a horrible mistake. I live less than 5 minutes away on foot, && I'd MUCH rather use the last of the gas in my tank to drive over the border to the Super Walmart in Elkton, or the Target at the Christiana Mall. They should tear this Walmart down && start from scratch, starting with their employees. Rude, inattentive, careless, I mean, I could go on. They never have what you need in stock, && their is just so much disarray && lack of organization. Don't even get me started on cleanliness. Gross! This is the worst walmart I have ever been at. First they are dirty. And I saw them tell a elderly women to get out of their wheel cars and walk to her car, while caring her groceries. She could barley walk!! The workers are rude and no help at all. I will never go their again. read more

I am close to this Walmart, however I would prefer to shop anywhere else. Unfortunately sometimes for last minute things I do have to run in there sometimes. I have been in plenty of Walmart's, they are usually clean and organized. This one is not...at all. There are generally only 4 registers at a time open, usually with lines of 8, 9 people in each one. I have never encountered a helpful or pleasant employee there, or one that is even paying attention. The last few times I have gone there has been a person at door checking receipts, for some reason he checks mine and no one else's...and the last time we I went he grabbed my receipt to check it, then i waited while he carried on a conversation with a gentlemen sitting in a chair relaxing next to him. I was on my way home to North Carolina and one of my tires had picked up a nail and was going flat. I had purchased my tires new in Feb. 2018 at the Walmart in Rocky Mount, NC and I had road hazard protection on these tires. I pulled in to Walmart in New Castle and explained to the person working the counter in the auto center what I needed.....to have them fix a tire that was going flat. This person tells me that I would have to wait at least 3 hours before they could get to my car. There was one car in their bay and there were no cars outside waiting to be serviced. I looked at her and said "are you serious"? I am on the road and trying to get home. It didn't matter to her. I asked if there was another tire repair shop close by. She said that there was one about 3-4 miles up the road but she didn't know the name of it. I got into my car and right after I pulled out of their parking lot about a quarter mile away was a local tire shop (Earl's Tire Shop). I stopped there and they took me in immediately and fixed my tire. It took about 10 minutes and cost me $15. Walmart? Get your shit together and care about your customers! read more

Be careful around this Walmart. It is very unsafe outside and the frozen steak is bad and they won't refund food items even when you have a receipt. The store is very messy and they have mice. I've seen them on the pet shelves. Unsafe and should be shutdown. read more

I used to love going to this Walmart when I moved to Delaware. Sometimes I would just go in to stroll through and see if my favorite products were on sale, or just because. It was clean, cozy and with a much friendlier atmosphere. NOW!... I don't know what struck the place; it is so dirty that it is downrite unsanitary. The floors are filthy, some of the products have dust on them and all behind the shelves. Everything is always in disarray. There is no customer service code of conduct, presentable dress, or anything else. Where the heck are the managers? Even the store clerks look like they didn't wash their uniforms and the fellas have decided to share a candid view of the entire half of their underwear (sometimes clean and sometimes not.... gross). I don't purchase food products there anymore because I don't know what I'll get and the inside of the refrigerators are filthy too. If I want something non-perishable and tax free, I order enough online to cut out shipping cost and pick up the items when they come in. Other than that, I go to the Walmart in Elkton (this one is going down hill slowly too), or the one in North East, Maryland which is huge, spotless and very well organized. I have not tried the one in Middletown yet due to the cumbersome traffic pattern and distance. read more
