The two Toms in particular have been very kind to me. It's become difficult for pharmacies to get enough meds to supply patients, as our government dies not provide pharmacies with the ability to maintain the on volume of pain meds required. This very stressful both for the staff and patients like myself who risk going into withdrawal. This happened years ago and I ended up stuck in the hospital because we could not find a pharmacy with my meds in stock. I called my doctor's office, and they confirmed that the prescription had been sent. When I called the pharmacy back, I was then told that they were not accepting new patients for this medication so they just filed it. So how am I not in their system? That was surprising, especially since they filled the exact same medication for my child just last week without any issues. At no point did anyone call to let me know there was a problem. Initially, we were simply told the prescription hadn't been received. There also didn't seem to be any concern that I was now out of a medication I've taken daily for years. I make a point of supporting local businesses whenever I can instead of larger chains, but based on this experience, this won't be the pharmacy our family of five chooses going forward.

The last time I went there to pick up something, the cashier couldn't figure out how to add a coupon that was already loaded onto my CVS card. She had to ask someone else from another department and that took nearly 10 minutes. So that's either a training issue or a usability problem. That aside, this CVS store is pretty much identical to other CVS stores in the area in what they stock, i.e. they have a lot of useless homeopathic crap on the shelves but not one single bee sting treatment.
